I tend to do decently at tournaments, like 4-4 or 5-3.
But i want to do very well this time.
Im playing Toast, i think.
its going to be rough i think.
but im a solid player.
ugh
I want to win it all. i want to feel that rush of Top 8.

Ajani is Gold (RW) is 154.

Assumption: equal number of monocolor cards in each color. Little reason to assume otherwise, except color sizes on logo are different sizes.

Assumption: Card ordering has not changed. Mono->Gold->Hybird->Artifact->Land. Basic lands are definitely last as shown by previewed basics. Theoretically they could order by shard, seems. Unlikely due to card number though. Gold order could also be changed to be sorted by colors like hybrids as opposed to current (as of Lorwyn) all gold cards together.

Indicates 150 monocolored cards. 3 gold cards before Aja seems high? But if not true implies new ordering or unbalanced color distribution. Second card number should rule out new ordering.

Ajani is RW. Seems no reason to randomly created a RW card (Radha a similar exception, inserted due to storyline. Does not seem like they had to go for Ajani being red white though). Highly probably that there are more enemy colored gold cards.

Ajani is mythic. Sarkhan is mythic. Would not traditionally fit within same cycle due to colors. Exception is Lorwyn race lands which had flavor reasons. I can think of no flavor reason for tri-colored shards to lead to a cycle partially in allied and partially in enemy. Seems likely that Wizards would try to keep the number of mythics in each color pair. Would imply 1 mythic in each color pair. This is 10 of the 15 mythics. Seems 80% likely that Hellkite Overlord is intended to be mythic. If so almost certainly part of a CDDE cycle of mythics. All 15 mythics accounted for. => No monocolored mythics? Strange, though on some level gold cards have been cultivated as more special in general. Traditionally Gold cards have skewed towards higher rarity and have a more "special" feel to them. (Biased?) Alternative 1 2-color (sarkhan vol and dragon same shard assuming dragon is mythic, sarkhan and ajani are different) , 1 3-color mythic in each shard, 1 mythic per monocolor/shard.

150 monocolors, 30 each color. 79 gold/hybrid/artifact/land. 1 is common. Likely artifact or land to keep balance. Actually assuming same number of gold cards in each shard/color set, at least 4 (3 rare, 1 common) artifacts/lands not part of cycles. Likely a rare cycle of lands. Also at least 1 common cycle of artifacts or lands (both?) to help mana fix. Assuming both exist no more than 65 gold.

Ravnica broke down 4C, 5U, 7R (3C, 4U, 6R not counting hybrids). So given 12-13 (11?) per shard. Something like 3C-3U-3R-3M? 2-4-3-3? Definitely 3 M if right about mythics. Each shard has 2 ally pair, 1 enemy pair, and the 3 color combo. I would expect each ally color pair to hit at each rarity (possibly not common). Less likely if they do (R/G)(G/W) hybrids cards. Set is likelly light in hybrid cards due to the massive usage in shadowmoor. Enemy pairs and tri-color are probably not commons. enemy pair is likely rarer than tri-color. Perhaps 2C-4U-3R-3M is more likely. Leaves 6C, 5U, 8R, rare lands/artifacts. maybe even 10U? Though 5U fits roughly 5 common land fixers, common 5-color land, rare land cycle, and a U shard signet. or something. Though they may skip common gold.

# of planeswalkers? 5 or 10 if they fill out cycles. Seems bit high. But the prerelease card is planeswalker. It is apparently Big Deal. The entire year is seems planeswalker themed out with duel decks and whatnot. They also showed Sarkhan Vol early. 2of 3 cards are planeswalkers. Maybe 2 of 4 if Ruel's card is counted (CDDE? or planeswalker?? Might not be mythic though). So maybe planeswalkers are a big deal in the set. Flavor wise if these shards are different planes, one would need planeswalkers for interaction. Is 10 really possible? It may also just be Ajani for prerelease because of limited selection among Mythic Rares.

Epic Fail: Video Card Crash take 2

This is now the 2nd video card that crashed on me..

The first was due to the fan dieing and such...:(*3 year old card being used 80% of the year on*

The 2nd.... 40 sum days into gaming and CRASH!

So I am now on my 3rd card... Should be here in the morning BUT that means the money for the capture addon is now out:(

So I plan on doing an auction/sale on ALOT of my magics so I can buy me some new comp stuff:)

Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope

So hey guys. I finally got around to working on that Star Wars/Magic crossover. I decided to work it like so:

Keep the Magic color identities, with a strong willingness to stretch the color pie and make mana fixing as easy as possible to allow multiple color decks.
180 card sets, focused on each Episode (in order, IV, V, VI, I, II, & III), followed by a larger Expanded Universe set. Episodes IV and I, being the first of their 'blocks' will have 5 special basic land cards (probably not with artwork of land, but with characters or something)
Balance of amounts of cards in each color is not entirely an issue, but it is a factor (it's okay if there's a slight imbalance at first)
I've worked the cards top-down, meaning that if there's a moment/thing/quote/character/creature/enemy in the movie/script, the card names/pictures come (mostly) from there.
It's okay to use Magic terminology right now--it'll all get converted into proper Star Wars style terminology when it's beyond just the initial design phase.
I've included a link to download the MSE2 set. None of the cards have been designed, save for one. Please feel free to help me figure out how to make the cards work well!

Only Episode IV: A New Hope has been compiled so far. Believe me, I took over 1700 screenshots of the DVD version just to boil down to 175 pictures!

I decided recently that I was to continue collecting the 1 card I have always liked the art on and used to have various decks with it in...Sway of the Stars.

Basically, I want to amass as many as possible, but I can't seem to find anywhere that has a decent amount.

So people, if you have spare copies of this card laying around, drop me a line as I would love to get them in some way or another!!!

Just a quicky.

Decided sense its gonna take me awhile to start up my Console Lets plays I decided to Play 2 mods on the PC for now.

One Being AEons of Death Mod for Doom which uses Zdoom or GZdoom interface...

And Carnage Galore III: Fury of Vuradi for Hexen using jhexen {doomsday}.

Just like countless people who do Mario world hacks on youtube I will be doing Hexen and Doom 2.

I am also going to run through what hacks I do have and try to upload them for everyone soon.

Things Change...

The more things change, the more things stay the same. To be honest, I sort of saw this coming. While I have been traveling the globe, seeing new things over the past 3 years, my friends from back in Maine just stayed back, and remained the same native rednecks they always were. My old girlfriends are dumb as **** and constantly getting into trouble, two of my friends are retarded, known now as "decelerated" (finding "nice" ways to say something is one thing, but that's just demeaning), and almost everyone in my class seems like... well... idiots. I dunno. Do 2 years in german schools make such a huge difference? I think the largest thing that's changed is my own way of viewing things.

Some things have changed, though. My friends Ezra, Ezra, and Nathaniel have all changed for the better. They are all homeschooled. Coincidence? I think not. Nathaniel is a semi-pro hacker and does web design, Ezra #1 is as cool as ever; in fact even cooler than before, and Ezra #2 is kicking the crap out of FNM with his modded-up Q&T deck. I dunno.

But all in all, I have the feeling that this island, as much as it is a resort paradise for tourists, is a death trap to those who inhabit it. Everything is so... stymied, I don't know... :( Makes me a sad panda.

Anyways, I'm hoping to catch up with Ezra #1 later today... Hope everything's cool with him.

I just needed somewhere to rant to. Take it serious or not.. Some will be me joking and some will be dead on serious...

Ex's are such a pain in the ass. They like to treat everything like everything is ok and smooth.. while its in there advantage. The moment they are in a bind they decide that everything is not smooth and cool.

EX: My ex talking about her new BF and crap.. I could really careless as I am not jealous.. sorta.
But god forbid I speak about another woman... She gets all pissy and starts saying I am only talking about the other woman to make her jealous...

WTF? All I said was I was talking about stuff.. nothing else...

Also love how when they have one bad day the expect people to care... I then have a bad 3 ****ing weeks and its Boohoo who cares.. >.<

I mean WTF... Is there any damn woman that actually care and respect a guy and enjoy the respect and caring back? I am really not sure anymore.... BLAH...

What she doesnt know is that people are getting pissed at her for pretty much turning me from a happy person into a bitter nasty ahole. Glad to see her lasting imperssion is turning into the bitch she hated.. My last ex.

Oh well... time I take relationship searching more serious and try to find a 100% match...
Someone cook me some steak sandwiches.. I may be at this for awhile ^_^;

Other than the M:tG Fantasy Free items, I also run a Fanlisting for Rebecca Cusworth (she's a wonderful landscape photographer, and a friend of mine on deviantART), my own freelance studio, 3D freebies for Poser/Daz|Studio, and have decided to pick back up on webdesign to see if I can get a job elsewhere.

Just so you know, I won't be updating this blog as much as I will be updating the main M:tG Fantasy Free website. I wouldn't mind if anyone wanted to sign up at the blog, you can contribute as well.

I have a lot going on, and I need to get a few things taken care of. I'll be back eventually.

OK considering I have a ton of free time and now am almost done catching up and being ahead on my bills Its time I lay out my plans and start doing stuff...

Last year I announced I be doing Podcasts.. THAT idea died when the team I was on Kicked me out after I caused an uproar when my ex friend hit on my GF at the time behind my back.. Fastforward to now and I dont think podcasts be any good considering how many there are now... So that idea is dumped into the trash and I make way to a new idea...

I have had a youtube account for over 2 years and Havent used it minus to Saving favorites and watching vids.. Its time I put this bastard to use. if you go into entertainment forum on the site you would have noticed I made a post about video capture cards.. WELL thanks to some people in work *and pretty much none to anyone here cause no one minus one offered any sort of help* I found my card... So I shall be starting to record my "Let's Play" Videos soon..

What Is my grand plan? Well I plan on 3 different "let's play".

No, this isn't a rant, or anything close to it. This is just a friendly notification (or about as close to friendly as I can get). I doubt that I will be ranting in the foreseeable future. At least, not until this semester is over. You see, my schedule is like this: 10am-11:15am: Stage Combat. 11:30am-12:45pm: Politics in the Media. 1:00pm-2:15pm: Acting III. 2:30pm-3:45pm: Intro to Philosophy. The politics and the philosophy I don't mind so much, it's the Stage Combat and Acting III classes that are physically draining to me. Each and every day after class I end up crashing at home and sleeping for a few hours. That's something that hasn't happened at all before. I've never crashed! Well, maybe it also has something to do with the fact that I go from 10am-4pm with no breaks. Yeah, that has to be it.

In some unrelated news, I broke down (in a different way) and finally bought a Nintendo DS. I also have several games for it, which are as follows: Apollo Justice, Elite Beat Agents, Final Fantasy III, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Nintendogs, Pokemon Pearl, and The World Ends With You. So it might be a while before I get any more games, but if anyone out there has any ideas about fun single-player games for the DS, feel free to mention them. For some reason, I'm having trouble getting the DS Wi-Fi to work at home, and I don't wanna try and fix it if I'm crashing every other day. Damn, that makes me feel like my body runs on Windows.
