****ING TWILIGHT!!!...

****ING TWILIGHT!!!:mad::swear::argh::banghead::mad1:

Once, there was a comic book movie. A sequel. And, unlike most comic book movies (to say nothing about sequels to comic book movies), it was GOOD. VERY GOOD. It dealt with complex emotions and consequences, had great character development, and most every actor gave what might be the performances of their lives. Despite (or maybe due to) the death of the actor who played the main villain, the movie broke records for money made at the box office. ****, the movie became the first comic book movie EVER to win an Academy Award in acting! Yes, I'm talking about The Dark Knight. The writing is some of the best I've seen in cinema. It's a masterful examination of what can happen to a person who's assumed responsibilities suddenly seem to spiral out of control. Now we've got New Moon. The sequel to Twilight. A movie with no plot, actors who would be more at home in a high school production (and even that's being incredibly nice), and characters with no personality whatsoever. Pretty much the anti-Dark Knight. And what the **** happens? It shatters the box office record for opening night income set by the aforementioned Dark Knight. As an aspiring actor/writer/director who cherishes all of the subtleties that go into a truly excellent performance, this pisses me off more than almost anything. Actually, it's probably become the #1 thing that pisses me off. Yes, it pisses me off more than helicopter parents, more than idiots who replace "Christmas" with "Winter Holiday" and "Halloween" with "Costume Day". More than anything. Because I want to make this industry my livlihood. And it saddens me that someone can crank out any sort of cheap ****, pad it out to 2 hours, and put it up on the big screen and earn hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office. Because there seems to be a cheapening of actual effort made in making movies. Why have your characters develop personalities and have them make life-altering decisions when they can just stand in front of a camera for an hour or so looking pretty? Why have plot when you can just take a camera and follow the actors around for a month, make a couple quick edits, and call it a movie? Movies that look like they've been made with at least some effort are fast becoming few and far between, and that really depresses me. And pisses me off.

If New Moon breaks any more records, there's gonna be a bunch of dead tween bodies littering the streets. ****!!!!!

4 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Blightning

Alright, I have my list up and ready:
I've done some testing and really haven't lost yet, which is very good. The worst performer, suprisingly, has been Blightning, however its still worthy for the slot. Ajani's have been GG every time I've played them. Against Control, Burst Lightning's go out for Mind Rot. Terminates go out for Duress.

Tonight was fun, and this is an awesome deck.

MATCH 1: RDW

I really shouldn't have won this match. He had to mulligan to oblivion, and I got set up right away. In game 1 I got him to 12 with early damage, then pointed two Sign in Bloods at him while I had two Underworld Dreams and an active Quest for Pure Flame in play. Game 2 I was able to fight through a Dragon's Claw by double-saccing Quest to enable a Runeflare Trap to deal 40 points of damage.

Win 2-0
Matches: 1-0

MATCH 2: Crypt of Agadeem Combo

It looks like a fun deck to play, but all the cycling turned my Runeflare Traps on even with only one Howling Mine. This was pretty much a bye.

Win 2-0
Matches: 2-0

MATCH 3: Mono-White Soldiers

Another fairly easy matchup made easier by the fact that he had zero clue what was going on. Game 1 was easy, but after that a few Celestial Purges came in. Game 2 I made the mistake of waiting too long on a Pyroclasm, and it almost cost me the match. I was able to go off with multiple Runeflare Traps thanks to a single point of life from Akoum Refuge.

Win 2-0
Matches: 3-0

MATCH 4: Jund

Finally, a true test. I was Blightninged three times in game 1 but still managed to win thanks to the incredible drawing power of Howling Mine and friends. It was a close game; I had to spend three minutes or so making calculations before casting Sign in Blood on him then Runeflare Trap for exactly lethal, hoping he didn't topdeck burn. Game 2 was a mess; I Duressed him on turn 3 hoping to get a Pulse. Seeing no Pulse I laid a Howling Mine. The lucky #&%$ topdecked one. A couple turns later I whiffed on Duress again. Game 3 I went through three of my Sign in Bloods digging for any sort of draw engine. If I found as much as a Howling Mine, he was good as dead with all the Runeflare Traps I had been stockpiling. But nope. He drew all four of his Bloodbraid Elves.

Lose 1-2
Matches: 3-1

MATCH 5: Aggro

Dauntless Escort and friends. This was a really easy game 1, everything went exactly as planned. Then he brings in a nasty surprise from his sideboard--Qasali Pridemage, a card I've seen in no one's sideboard post rotation. It hits an Underworld Dreams but I quickly replace it and draw through more of my deck, finding all kinds of removal for Baneslayer and nasty things.

Win 2-0
Matches: 4-1

I probably only did so well because of the rogue factor. The Jund player had seen variants of the deck before, so it made it hard to play against. There were no undefeated's and I had great breakers.

So I won two draft sets of Zendikar.

Pack 1: Eldrazi Monument (!), Harrow

Starting with a T2 tournament this Sunday. I have no idea what to run... :/

I'm contemplating a couple of decks, for one an Esper deck that aims to drop crap loads of cheap Artifact creatures and then a game-breaking Master of Etherium... its been playing very well of late, and half the cards being fliers is quite handy.

The next is a Naya Control deck, splashing black for Blightning. It basically removes everything your opponent plays before overwhelmming them with undefended goblin tokens via Goblin Assault. It also has tested very well... the amount of removal is... amazing.

The final contender is an R/G classic beat face deck, with Collosal Might... it has a scary curve, and anytime you drop a Might, it's bounc to be truly gamebreaking.

I have no idea what to run, but if you want to help, check out the lists... they're in Developing Competitive:

"Etherium Quick Beats:

"Naya Assault Control"

"R/G Might"

All opinions will be highly appreciated :)

Ok well, Starting a new section in my blog, I call it... Snake's Reviews! I will try to post a new review, of a movie, game, anything I wish, once a week.

First off:
Name: Idiocracy
Year: 2006
Rating: R
Snake's Rating: Most Definatly R
Notes/Comments: I do feel this movie was good, but good being an opinion, changes with each person. I enjoyed the movie, though the cursing and sexual themes did make me question a bit. But it was a good. Not a movie that you want to watch with the kiddies about. Very crude humor.
Bit o' the plot

       Spoiler:

So a completely average military librarian is drafted to do an assignment, be a human lab rat. A prostitute and himself get put into pods, which are scheduled to be closed and them set to sleep for a year. But due to some unforeseen events, the project gets scrapped, the two subjects are forgotten about and they are finally awaken 500 years in the future, they wake up to find the population is dumber than ever. And in fact, they are the smartest people alive. But, Will he get the girl? Will Toto find Dorthy? Does Brawno have Electrolytes? Hell yeah. See the movie to find out more.

Rating: 6.5/10 Good, but I felt sorta empty watching it, if thats the best way to describe it. Still a Must-See film for even being a 6.5/10

"So, who is your champion?" the bearded knight asked Seth,...

EDH Duel #3: Rafiq vs. Oros

"So, who is your champion?" the bearded knight asked Seth, his dozens upon dozens of sigils reflecting the morning sun back toward Josh's opponent. Without saying a word, Seth folded his hands and raised them skyward, surrounding himself with a black, white, and red aura. A powerful, gold-bodied dragon with various shades of black and red scattered about dove out of the sky, landing next to Seth in the arena. The crowd of rhox, aven, and humans watching roared in excitement. "So it is true that you are not from Alara," Rafiq deduced.

"I am not, though I have done a lot of work here," Seth replied. "If I am to reclaim the Quicksilver Amulet stolen from me by the Nayans, I must become more skilled. That is why I am here."

"Well, Josh and I can give you a good test of your skills." Rafiq climbed onto his trusty leotau and drew his greatsword. Josh merely stood next to the east arena entrance, his powerful bird mount at his side. The scoreboard above the arena lit up thanks to a pair of wizards in the skybox, showing a score of 40 to 40 for the two combatants.

"May the best man win," Josh added just as the angel serving as head judge leaped skyward, signifying the start of the duel. As both combatants drew mana, Josh noticed Seth's score changed from 40 to 39 for some unknown reason--he didn't notice anything depleting his life force.

Seconds later, Josh heard a piercing shriek, but could not pinpoint where it was coming from. Just as he turned to his right, a grey gargoyle landed on his head, blinding him. It drilled a hole through the armored fighter's helmet and through his skull, then began syphoning his thoughts. After the gargoyle took off, Josh could see through his dizzyness an image of an armored, white-scaled dragon. As soon as his vision became clear, the image shattered into pieces, then concurred around Seth. His score was updated to 45. "My dragon steed!" Rafiq shouted over the wind.

"No! Treva!" Josh cried.

"I told you I wasn't messing around," Seth jeered. "If I want to defeat Shalin, I must become better." Castle spires rose up behind Josh and Rafiq, balmgivers watching from their heights, ready to defend the brave swordsmen at a moment's notice.

One strange thing Seth noticed is that no green wisps of mana circled him. "Could he possibly not practice green magic like Shalin?" he thought before looking at Rafiq. "He looks concerned. I think he knows green magic, but for some reason he must be unable to draw green mana. Well, I should take this opportunity to do some real damage." Seth projected a portal to a barren, volcanic land, and a mounted lancer rode out at high speed. The human-shaped rider appeared to be nothing more than smoldering ash and bones, which explained why his black wolf steed boasted paws and a tail that were literally on fire.

Perhaps a threat was the motivation Josh needed to finally find a green source of mana to draw from. Seth feigned fear of a huge monster to lull Josh into a false sense of security, then burst out laughing when he saw a camouflaged human standing on a shaded edge of the arena.

Seth drew on an unusually large amount of white mana; it was as though the land itself reinforced him. Then, a shadow created by dark, billowy clouds fell over the arena, animated corpses of undead hanging over the edges of the front row of seats.

In such a time of darkness, Josh kneeled in prayer, surrounding himself with a circle of white mana. A ray of light shined from a break in the clouds, and an angel descended from the sky, sigils dancing all around her head. The camouflaged human sidled around the arena, then backstabbed Seth as soon as he was directly behind him. The angel's sword glowed white, then pointed her sword directly at Josh, sending the absorbed life force his way.

Almost immediately after seeing the angel replenish Josh's life force, Seth threw a ball of dark flames at the angel. Her robes disintegrated almost instantly, followed by her skin seconds later, followed by her very bones after that. There wasn't even a pile of ash afterward--nothing remained.

A golden-armored rhox wielding a morning star joined Josh's ranks, and the rogue silently moved around the edge of the dark arena, ready to stab Seth when he wasn't looking. This time, though, the Shadowheart mage was prepared. Just as he was about to lunge forward, an enchanted mirror rose in front of Seth. The Jhessian stabbed the mirror instead, and out of it came intertwined beams of light and flames with a force equal to his own attack. Beaten at his own game, he collapsed as the searing beam ate away at his flesh.

Seth matched the Spires of Order with a fortress of his own--a nine-story barracks complete with aeries for the Legion's roc-riders to take off from. A flaming lance descended from the peak of the fortress, sticking itself in the ground right next to the mounted cinder. He grabbed the lance in his free hand, pointed both weapons at Josh, and spurred his wolf mount hard. Neither of the Bant knights had seen a wolf run that fast before. The cinder rammed Josh, the powerful charge adding to the intensity of the flaming lance's heat. But he wasn't done. The wolf reared up and turned around, allowing its rider to connect with its real lance.

Josh groaned in his effort to stand up. Attempting to shake off the puncture wounds, he closed his eyes and surrounded himself with a green aura, beholding some of nature's finest secrets. When he ceased meditation, he found a platoon of white, armored sentinels serving to protect him. With their support empowering the rhox, he ran toward Seth, throwing his spiked ball at him.

Seeing how effective the cinder's ferocious charge was, Seth leaped onto Oros, ready to deliver a much more devastating blow from his aerial perch. Josh's back to the wall now, he and Rafiq faced each other in prayer. The angels above answered their prayers, but in an unusual way. Even the spectators were appalled by the strange mixture of light and darkness caused by the two combatants' arena-altering spells. "Now we play by my rules!" Rafiq shouted.

"Maybe so, but rules have to be fair!" Seth shouted, channeling black mana in one hand and white in the other. He clasped his hands together, then opened them up in the direction of the cold spires behind Josh. The mana formed a helix of light and shadow, the mix of energy extremely unstable. As soon as it collided with the tall structure, it took it down in a massive explosion. The holy towers became nothing more than a large pile of rubble.

"Apparently Seth loves dragons," Josh sighed when a red, serpentine dragon dove from the clouds above, its back literally on fire. With his new ally to defend the two of them, Seth and Oros charged toward Josh. Halfway through the charge, a second chained sword materalized in his off hand. The moment Josh saw the second sword materialize, he engulfed himself in a strange, light fog. As soon as Oros entered, it vanished into the depths of Seth's mind, the rider barely avoiding a painful landing. Immediately after landing, the golden dragon materialized at the end of the arena opposite Josh. A disgruntled Seth ran back toward his companion.

His mind clear now, Josh felt comfortable letting Rafiq fight a second time, particularly when his already sturdy armor became augmented by a layer of cytoplasm. Groaning at the magic-resistant armor, Seth called on the help of an archer famous for his blunt-tipped bolts.

Rafiq's sigiled armor glowed with golden light, and from his shoulders sprouted the wings of an angel. He drew his greatsword, and charged at Seth, wings flapping vigorously. The red dragon flew in front of the knight and exploded in a sphere of fire, engulfing and destroying everything on the battlefield except for Josh, Seth, and the winged swordsman.

"This is probably why Rafiq is the Grand Champion of Sigils," Seth muttered to himself. A dark fog fell over Seth's side of the arena, almost completely blanking out the angel's light on that side. "Come and get me now!" he jeered.

"You're a dirty fighter, Seth, you know that?" Rafiq replied as a squire ran up to the Bantian hero to deliver him a hammer bearing a Nayan emblem. The knight descended low enough to pick up the hammer. The black fog still too dense and dangerous to blindly charge into, Rafiq flew ever vigilant, holding his ground.

"You're the one that has me backed into a wall," Seth shouted back, "and I have to do whatever it takes to win!" Acid-coated meteors rained from the sky, one directly hitting Rafiq. He vanished, then reappeared at Josh's side after the spell's duration ended, wingless and no longer magically protected.

An armored rhox wielding a halberd stepped forward to avenge his leader. Having the upper hand again, Seth deemed it safe to leap back into Oros' saddle, readying himself for a diving strike.

Looking at the contrast between the holy and unholy sides of the arena enraged the rhox soldier so much that Josh had to verbally tell him to hold back an attack. Instead, the knight magically sculpted an image of the lancer in an ascended form. Then, Josh and Rafiq enlisted the help of the most unusual knight to join the Bantian forces yet. His Nayan friend Shalin called it the embodiment of the souls of Bant and Nayan. The lancer rode upon a Gargantuan steed several times his own height.

The center of the field became a green muck of bubbling acid, surrounded by the skeletons of long-dead warriors. "That's it!" Seth exclaimed, finally thinking of a way out. "My path to victory begins here!" So much black and red mana erupted from underneath him that it looked like the battlefield was above an erupting volcano. Red-hot, glowing chains connected Seth and Josh with each creature fighting for them.

A second chain-bound sword materialized in Seth's off hand, and Oros dive-bombed Josh. After ramming him back into the ground, the dragon belched a ball of holy flames at the rhox. Though it survived the assault, the heat of the flames pulsed through the chain connecting it and Josh. He struggled to stay on his feet; it felt like he was burning up from both outside and inside.

Rafiq ran to Josh's side, and an aven commander joined him to protect the brave knight. "It's over," Seth cried out. Drawing both his swords, he commanded Oros to dive-bomb Josh a second time. The aven stood in front of Rafiq, deathly frightened of the dragon. Not even the thought of Josh suffering was able to push it enough to take a blow for Bant. After the first blow, Oros spewed another holy fireball at the rhox lancer, Josh feeling every bit of his pain. Seth then wheeled Oros around for a second assault on both the thox and Josh. The knight collapsed, his body ablaze with holy fire. "I'm coming for you, Shalin!" Seth shouted as he wheeled Oros back to the south, the Shadowheart dragon roaring with confidence.

Left 4 Dead 2
This is a review of the game, and as such it contains spoilers. To tell you right off the bat, if you like the first game, you'll like this one. I am a fan, and I do tend to rant and go off on tangents. I'll try to focus it.

Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2), released a year after its predecessor, is a first-person shooter survival co-op horror extrrrrrravaganza. It hasn't changed much from its predecessor. The core gameplay elements are still the same. It's just been coated with a jambalaya-flavored candy covering filled with extras that range between awesome to confusing.

The Core Gameplay
The game hasn't changed much from the first game: You are one of four survivors of a zombie apocalypse infection and must fight your way through hordes of infected zombies to the end of a four (or five) level campaign to escape. Teamwork is essential as among the horde are a number of special infected which can take you out if you don't have backup to help you. Throughout the campaign you will start with some simple weapons and health packs and find, littered along the way, better weapons, grenade-like weapons, more health (packs, pills) and the like. Certain moments in the campaign are known as 'events' which attract the zombies, until you reach the final level and you enter a 'finale' and defend yourselves while waiting for a rescue.

The Extras, and what's been changed
The Characters
The first thing that strikes you when you play L4D2 is that the characters are quite different than those in the original. We have Ellis, a mechanic who likes to joke around and has the feeling of being a southern country boy. We have Nick, a riverboat gambler/con man, who says nothing but wise-cracking one-liners but actually does give a care. Then we have Rochelle, a young TV production assistant who is kind and considerate. Finally we have Coach, the big guy. A former college football player turned-varsity coach, who kinda looks like Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince (big bonus points there).

The characters are unique, but it's really up to you whether you like any of them. Ultimately, you only really have to LIKE one of the four. For me, that was Coach. Rochelle is bland and uninteresting. Ellis is goofy. Nick is an *******. But everyone will relate to someone.

Compared to the original four characters of L4D, Bill, Francis, Louis, and Zoey, they have more character, but they don't have as much group cohesiveness. The L4D survivors seemed like a tight-knit team. In L4D2, they seem like a hodge-podge. A tradeoff. Both teams fit for their respective games.

The Infected
In the first L4D, the zombies you face are pale and ghost-like, running at you full-tilt when alerted and stumbling like mindless ghouls when they're inert. Each area has its own groups of infected zombies, wearing outfits that match the area: Doctors/nurses/patients in the hospitals, cops in the streets, airline employees in the airport, and hunters/military personnel in the countryside.

In L4D2, the outfits that the infected wear run together far more. It makes their identity far less interesting. The infection seems to have killed their wardrobe, as well as their behavior. When inert, they seem to be like feral animals that haven't yet found a meal. When alerted, they behave more like monkeys than the walking dead.. well, monkeys with bloody faces and wounds.

The only thing that L4D2 has over its predecessor is 'Uncommon Common Infected' (UCI). Each UCI is specific to each campaign. In 'Dead Center', CEDA (Civil Emergency and Defense Agency--a thinly veiled caricature of FEMA) has agents in HAZMAT suits. Well, the suits didn't stop the infection and the resulting zombies are immune to fire. In 'Dark Carnival', zombie Clowns have squeaky shoes that attract undead. In 'Swamp Fever', Mud Men are zombies that emerge from the swamp and can glob mud all over your view to obscure your sight. In 'Hard Rain', construction worker zombies wear reflective outfits and can't hear the beep of pipebombs and other loud noises, plus they're tougher to kill. Finally, in 'The Parish', riot cop zombies wear bulletproof armor making them impossible to shoot from the front.

Not to mention, the violence is ramped up in L4D2. Before, you could blast off an infected's head or four limbs, but not much else. In L4D2, you can destroy them in countless ways; holes in their bodies. Crushing their skulls. Decapitation. Slicing their bodies open. Tearing off limbs. Blowing their bodies open. It's much more visceral, but a gory game does not equal a great one.

The Gear
In Left 4 Dead, your weapons were relatively limited: The pistol, which had unlimited ammo, upgradeable to double pistols. The submachine gun, which was relatively effective. The pump-action shotgun, which was more effective. The M-16 rifle, which was accurate and powerful but ate ammo fast. The auto-shotgun which was just as effective as the pump-action, but had a larger magazine and reloaded faster, and the hunting rifle, which was chamber-loaded and very accurate and powerful.

In Left 4 Dead 2, the weapon repertoire is expanded. The pistols are back but not as powerful. There's also a magnum pistol, which has less rounds per magazine but much more powerful. We also have the pump-action shotgun, the silenced submachine gun, the uzi, the auto-shotgun, the combat shotgun, the semi-automatic desert rifle, the M-16, the hunting rifle, a high-powered semi-auto sniper rifle, and an explosively powerful (and potentially dangerous) grenade launcher. The power of the guns vary: The M-16 is awesome. The uzi? Not so much. The pistol has also been extremely nerfed, mostly because you can replace it with...

Melee weapons! A big and awesome improvement in the game is the addition of several melee weapons that replace the pistol. The frying pan, the paddle bat, the tonfa, the guitar, the machete, the fire axe, the katana, the crowbar, and the fuel-powered chainsaw. (For those who preordered the game, you can also get the special baseball bat.) These weapons are a lot of fun to use, some more than others. Nothing beats slicing through a horde with a machete or carving through them with a chainsaw. The chainsaw has a limited amount of fuel, so you can't use it forever. The tonfa is probably the least fun of the weapons.

In the original L4D, you also carry some extra gear: The first-aid kit which can heal you permanently. Pain pills, which give you a temporary health boost, and either a pipebomb or a molotov: to either attract and obliterate a horde of undead or spread a swath of fire to burn any infected inside (very effective against special infected).

L4D2 has all of these, plus new equipment. The defibrulator, which replaces a first-aid kit: Capable of reviving dead allies. Very useful in harder difficulties. The adrenaline shot, which replaces the pain pills: Somewhat effective if you want to rush through a horde. Incendiary and/or explosive ammunition, which replaces the first-aid kit. Somewhat useful, especially during a boss fight with a tank or a finale event. Finally, there's the Boomer Bile grenade, which, when thrown, creates a green mist of bile that attracts undead. Somewhat useful for diverting a horde. L4D2 also includes the laser sight, which you attach to your gun to improve accuracy (and it lets you see your allies' beams).

All of this gear is useful, but sometimes it's hard to decide what you'll need down the road. Sometimes you'll get lucky and that grenade launcher is awesome. Sometimes it causes a problem and you're out of ammo with just a crowbar. I thought picking between the molotov and the pipebomb was hard enough to do!

The Special Infected
The boss infected are back from the original L4D. The Hunter, a hooded leaper with powerful legs that screams and leaps on survivors and tears them apart. The Smoker, a coughing coward that finds a high spot and spits out a long tongue to tangle its victim and drag them off. The Boomer, a fat infected that vomits bile that blinds survivors and attracts undead, as well as spraying the bile when it's popped and killed. The Tank, a boss infected that's a mindless raging Hulk. The Witch, a passive infected that is deadly if you bother her.

In L4D2, these infected are back, but with new skins (Boomers are guys and girls now, Tanks look more tanned, Smokers are more reddish.) and new friends. The Spitter, an ugly bitch with a long neck that spits acid and creates pools of it when she dies. The Charger, a 'half-tank' hillbilly with a huge arm that tackles through survivors and pounds one into pulp. The Jockey, a tiny ravenous undead that leaps on a survivor's shoulders and drags them off.

The new infected are... decent. The charger is incredibly potent, reminding me of smokers. The jockey is incredibly hard to kill and very annoying. The spitter reminds me of the boomer, but with a different flavor of spit. They are different and unique enough to fit in the repertoire of L4D2, but they also feel unnecessary. The original specials were nasty enough.

The Campaigns/Story
In the original L4D, the campaigns and story weren't the focus. They are loosely (very loosely) tied together. In L4D2, they are tied together much more neatly. In the beginning, the survivors get to know each other and discover the infection slowly and surely. By the end, they have travelled from Savannah, GA to New Orleans, LA over five campaigns, and are very much used to killing the infection.

That's where the campaigns succeed. Otherwise they're not as effective. Each campaign has its own flavor, but they all taste similarly. The gameplay elements are incredibly similar across the board. The difficulty curve is flat, but it's also higher than the original's. Even on Easy I had much more trouble than I ever would with L4D. I know it'll get easier the more I play it but... I feel like they took the fact that the first one exists too much into consideration.

Final Word
I feel like I'm rambling at this point. L4D2 has some good stuff: The weapons, the story. Some elements are bland: The common zombies, the campaign gameplay, a lot of the weapons. Some elements are tough: The difficulty is ramped up, and overall it feels more sluggish in pacing.

If you like Left 4 Dead, you'll like Left 4 Dead 2. The gameplay hasn't changed. It's just been colored differently. Personally, I will always prefer the original.

Zoey.... <3<3<3
Like we were playing and somebody used magister sphinx on me and then everybody started to attack me on my turn i was at 1 life and i played [card]Arbiter of Knollridge[card] to get back up to 40 and everybody was pissed casue i put us all back to 40, oh well i didnt want to lose so fast but everytime we play edh i am always the first to go!

My genrals are Cromat, Horde of notions, and i also have a kresh deck and the only combos i do use is the revelark combo with mirror entity and body double as a last resort in my cromat deck, and in the kresh deck i have natuko husk + mighty emergance + Woodfall primus+ vicious shadows, but that one takes forever to get set up and goin.

At least i am not playin a Zur deck, that is really annoying.
