So I have been wondering, with how amazing miracle cards are, and the fact that aggro seems to be a big part of legacy now, will we see a return of Counterbalance Senseis Top? I was thinking something like
I plan to run a deck kinda like Radiel Markov's however I have two questions. One, why is Child of Night considered subpar? I think its a decent two drop just based on the fact that it has lifelink. Second, would the deck be runable with 20 landbase and still run effectively? Lastly what is everyones feelings on Piranha Marsh?
Even though he isn't a soldier is figure of destiny worth playing in the deck if you have a playset? also what is the virdict on the number of canonist in the sideboard and is it a must have card?
So I have my deck now and I am stuck on my sideboard. I see alot of different sideboards and I know that it should be more dependant on what decks I am running against but are there cards that I should get just becuase they are good and then decided which to sideboard in. Staples like ethersworn canonist?
hey monk... ive been play testing a warp worlds deck that ive found out to be pretty good...
i would take out the broodmate dragons because when i ran them i barely ever hard casted them b4 i warp worlds which is about all they good for for the extra permanent... your siege-gangs do that just fine...
also i run birds of paradise just because it gives me like 7 mana third turn with the mixture of birds fertile ground and traces... though i havent tried BB elf, i dont really feel that he fits in very well :P.
ive been trying out the rootbound crags which work pretty nice encase you dont get that green or red mana you need but all the dudes that take it... and i would take out the swamp and island... alls you need is to draw that land and no others and bam mulligan time :*(
about the only other difference is that i run darksteel collosus and a progenitius(the pro everything) just cause hes not pathable and gives the other guy 2 turns to beat you :D.... hopefully ive given some imput that helps ya win

just out of curiousity if you warp worlds and [c]acidic slime[c] enchant destroy ability work? cause it does state that lands artifacts and creatures come into play first then enchantments? but i did read a rulling on warp worlds of something like all other abilities wait to go on the stack so... the rulling would be?
hmmm i really like the sideboard your running... i was having a little trouble finding a good board that didnt affect warp worlds to much like the "cranial extraction" in the board... but it still goes on the bottom of lib... but... i think the acidic slim is an amazing board or even main deck it cause all those abils go on the stack :D... and start destroying opponents land... or even your own to deck thin for the for sure creatures you want... i mean i have on one turn droped the same warp worlds like 4 times so :D... anyway thanks...
So I am building this deck currently and I am just wondering if it will retain it's competitive edge when lorwyn drops, or am I gonna be running my naya zoo?
OK hunter44 what 15 cards would make a strong sideboard without knowing what kinda metagame I am looking at at a regional compitition and is MGH a regional worthy deck as of now?
I see your point except for the fact that forcemage doesn't necessarily make the snowy-hybrid deck. That deck is more about card control as I see it and wouldn't the Bridge be doing just that, adding my card control since you decide which of the creatures you are removing from the game to come in, unless the meta is land-aggro full.
