Missing Memory Jar as an alternate kill + combo enabler, it is essentially a 5th mirror because in 7 cards you usually do get there. The list I ran went 3-2 in 60 man and ran 3 thought seize 2 duress because I figured if I was on the play I need to deal with gaddok teeg seeing play in a few uwg and wgb fish decks. Also on the play it helps a lot against really all decks just to know what you're up against.
I'm a fan of poetry but honestly i only like it if it rhymes. My spelling isn't to great either (i dont really care) so please bare with that. Its not as bad as that might lead one to think.

Summer Storm's
Have you ever been awaken in the middle of the night?
To hear what sounds like the strangest of fights
Off in the distance loud bangs and booms
You look out your window and see nothing but gloom
You realize what it is, your hearts beating so fast
You’re praying to the lord for this storm to pass
It’s pouring rain outside and your soaking wet
It isn’t from the rain, it’s from the sweat
With flashes of lightning and the loudest of sounds
You now see something twirling around
Down the street you see things flying
All of a sudden you hear kids crying
Thinking out loud you don’t know what to do
Looking at the world with the newest of views
You see your life flash by your eyes
Its about to end with little surprise
The last thing on your mind is why it’s happening to you
You can’t come up with anything, not even a clue
You wish you could live for a couple more days
Because you can change the world in so many ways
If you could make just one more dream come true
Then you should wish for everyone to pull through
Every now and then a storm like this comes about
For this I’m sure of, without a doubt
How many storms have already come you ask
That’s a simple question, let’s look at the past
The meteor, the plague, aids, and cancer
How many more storms will come, no one knows the answer
The world need a reset, the plans have changed
Why has everyone become so deranged?
With this last question I bring to you
If you could start all over what would you do?
To have your life back with perfection and bliss
To talk to your family and to give them a kiss
It’s the little things in life that matter
Forget all the nonsense and all the chatter
Focus on what’s important to you
Now that you’re awake you know what to do

Is there any way to get a decklist from somoene that did not top 8? I wanted to see Michael Jacob's list, he finished 33rd overall and he was running a survival of the fit deck that looked amazingly fun, and made me want to have fun with magic again.
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and altering. I just started altering a little more than a week ago, maybe two. This is my 3rd real attempt at doing a worthwhile one. I got rid of all the text besides the flavor, because I liked the quote.
Any critique is good. Only question is what do you guys use to finish it off? I've read that you use a clear spray varnish? If somebody could link me to a product page or something that would be great.
I also put it up on ebay to see if I can get any money for it. Just search for mtg altered seething song. Don't wanna put the link up and spam

I like this alot, the only thing i would recommend is to put in the "brightest thunder-bolt is elicited from the darkest storm."
I'm a big fan of flavor text too, and i feel if you dark everything out except for that the picture should match exactly what it says. That would look sweet.

instead of the Hurkyll's Recall why not keep something similar to the first build and run scapegoat
i played rock and i ended up finishing 6-3
out of all the three losses i should of only lost one of them, the other two were huge play mistakes, crazyness!
play of the day is when i played ideal and he hard casted two form of the dragons and i was gonna die quickly because i couldnt attack for the win
i had a bob in play reveal for the turn was vindicate, draw for the turn it was vindicate!
but as johnjones has mentioned above what if its not a tourny? what if its just a friendly game between to people? does this still work the same way because this is confusing the begebies out of me! now im thinking about deep-sea kraken and if i play a spell i get to remove a counter as well.
im soooo making a decklist to abuse these cards! i think i just broke the type 2 format!

creatures are, kokusho, bogarden hellkite, angel of despair, and woodfall primus, my 4 most common targets in my reanimator 5 color deck.
