This is my moral code and guideline to mafia, regardless of my alignment in game.

Rule #1: No one is confirmed anything until the mod says so.

Especially in non basics, Godfathers, millers, questionable cops. All are possibilities for lying. I am not saying that if you get a guilty result, you shouldn't push as a cop.
