DXi- i built a varient of this like you asked me too made some slight changes
-1 thundermaw dragon

when we were play-testing DXI, i noticed part of your weakness is to flying with prot white and red so i tried to address that by running the thragtusk while it cant block the flyer it can offset the dmg with its life gain and in conjunction with Resto angel the life gain and beast tokens can get out of control fast
The the whole idea behind the changes is to prevent 2-1's, rancor's can get you 2 for'd easy especially against burn or vapor snag
thragtusk makes your opp not want to snag it and its just outside burn range , the thundermaw dragon i'm not a fan of in testing its good but its not great the haste makes it good but its doesn't really do enough. In the delver match snag eats it alive. Just my 2 cents from testing
the lists i play in paper and my arena list vary slightly just due to overall meta on Arena.

main difference between the two is in Arena i run Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage in the sideboard, and i run -1 Champion of Wits and +1 Forsake the Worldly in the main deck. there are alot of decks that are heavy on artifact and enchants on arena, and Raff gives me some maneuvering room against Control decks I try to stick him when they go for the Teferi with 5-6 lands. or any time they tap out.

The Idea is based off of Esper dragons with the primary shell being U/B, with the white splash designated to Ojutai, and the red splash for Draconic Roar and Brutal Expulsion.
The New Lands give us enough flexibility that I believe a 4 color control deck is viable. With 4 Delta's and 4 Bloodstained mire, it is very possible to hit t2 UU since all 8 fetches can grab Islands of some sort. (Note: when testing this be very careful with your fetches the mana base is such that fetching the wrong land could very well lose you the game, sequencing your fetches wrong could also put you in a bad spot.IE: Opening hand has Mire, Delta,Scorn,Shambling Vent, 3x irrelevant cards: if you fetch for Sunken hollow off Delta you wont be able to t2 UU, T1 would need to be Mire, into Sunken Hollow, t2 Delta, fetch Island. )
The one card I am absolutely not sold on right now is Ruinous Path, I feel like if we get another 2 mana deal 3 dmg burn spell that card should take the slot. Reasoning behind that is all of the low cost walkers
come into play as creatures and can be burn'd or removed and brutal expulsion can reset the board if need be. The walkers that come down as walkers all cost 4 or more and should be relatively easy to counter/or race. (1 of Ruinous path may just be 100% necessary as a catch all in later builds.)

The deck is very powerful has some super explosive turns, and can win out of nowhere.
What really has my attention is hardly any of this list is rotating out. SO it will be a great week 1 deck for the new format.

Quick run down of the Tournament.
Round 1 Abzan Aggro (non-Hangerback)
G1 He beats me down with an early lion gets me to 2 i finally draw the Foul-tongue, sac and reveal, following turn i play Silumgar Drifting Death with scorn back up and the game ends a few turns later
G2 He comes out quick but i have all the right answers
Round 2 G/R monsters
G1 He Crushes me with a great curve on the play
G2 I T5 Ojutai into T6 DL Silumgar stealing a DL Atarka
G3 Removal into counterspells into Ashiok with answers and i beat him down with his own Whisperwood Elemental
Round 3 Abzan Constellation
G1 I just steam roll him
G2 he gets an active starfield of nyx while he has banishing light on my Ojutai and i play a delicate game of letting him get 5 enchants then using removal on banishing light to turn off starfield and get ojutai back, this goes on for a few turns until the ojutai finally kills him.
Round 4 Gw Constellation
G1 he mulls to 6 and i T5 Ojutai on the play and he never resolves removal for him.
G2 He mulls to 6 and I end up beating him down with Silumgar the drifting death
Round 5 R/g Devotion
G1 I ashiok on 3 and he ignores it i end up taking an Atarka and he still ignores it following turn i blow up 2 morphs and an ashcloud phoenix with Atarka and play my Ojutai and close the game out in 2 turns
G2 crushes me no contest
G3 I have all answers
Round 6 Bant Heroic
G1 I have enough removal and he doesn't have enough creatures
G2 Pretty much the same
