    Impressions so far:

Sandsoft Blue will require a re-read, as his infrequency in posting stops me from getting good idea of his alignment.

Ecophagy has thus far slipped under my radar, and I shall go back and look at the tone and prosidy of his posts more carefully.

Regarding loran16: I always view a replacement as a good thing. A replacement allows each person playing to view two different approaches to the same character. I am going to hold off on ahasver/loran16 until loran16 has posted a little more.

    No, I'm town.

I already said I was town.

    Oh.

Glad we cleared that up. I was worried a while until I realized that the mafia were incapable of lying.

Wait a second, I think I'm confusing this with a game that shares nothing in common with Mafia or the way it is played.

I've also tweaked some of your alignments to make the games more amusing for me.

How many times do we need to quote this before you listen to us?

I'm not saying Guinan is automatically scum. I'm saying that Soron is acting like newb scum, and the fact that he has claimed Guinan cannot, by itself, save him.

Seppel: What have I done to warrant your scorn? Your attack on me seems particularly unfounded, what with the whole "lack of quotes and other pertinent evidence" thing. If I have acted scummy, please, show me the error of my ways. Near as I can tell, your vote for me went from "Whoopi Goldberg hater" to "serious, unrandom vote" rather quickly.

@ Everyone: I am was, in my salad days, a Next Generation fan. I am unsure as to whether or not any other series had pets on board, but Spot is Data's orange and white (and hilariously un-spotted) tabby cat. Either Wuffles is unnecessarily role-playing a non-speaking part, or he is a cat. The only cat I know in Star Trek is Spot. I am therefore more than happy to conclude that I agree with the analysis: Wuffles=Spot.

@ Seppel: Unless I am utterly mistaken, (a condition I am always willing to admit to, given proper evidence) mass claims are generally speaking bad. Usually, either the doctor, the cop, or both die within a couple days, leaving the town without any tools.

On the lighter side, while I will never admit that Whoopi Goldberg is made of pure awesome and thereby designate a place for her amongst the Olympians (being Patrick Stewart, George Takei, and honorary placement David Bowie), I can admit to Whoopi Goldberg being more awesome than Diana "I have one line and **** if I won't use it over and over" Troy. Captain! I'm sensing hostility from the enemy vessel!

On the "proof that Peregrine Falcon isn't scum" front, please refer above to my deep-felt love and affection for all things David Bowie. Smile

@ Soron: vis-a-vis Samoht, I think that his Bones-less post is readily explainable by a combination of confusion and laziness.

    @ StormBlind: Hi.

@ Soron: I quoted you the passage above where you brought them up. If you were only using them as a figure of speech, I apologize for over-reacting. I just thought you may have had some flavorful insight on precisely who we should be looking for.

Also, andelijah is right. Games take much longer online, and because people cannot change what has been typed, posts are very, very analytical. Because of this, when the cat's out of the bag, it is much harder for someone to back-pedal when, say, they mention in an off-hand way whether or not they are going to investigate or protect someone.

Playing honestly does not mean you have to sacrifice playing with your cards close to your chest, and, as such, 'round these parts we don't advocate any kind of name-claims. Do you really want the scum to know who Bones or Bev Crusher are?

Soron: You have yet to address how you know the borgs are the baddies. Yes, they are bad guys, but how do you know that the Mod chose them over some other Star Trek baddies?

For those of you that HAVE played way more games then me does all of this make sense? What I have been saying? I mean if you want to look for the first person to "role fish:"

Soron, do you happen to know what information he has on you?

I think this speaks volumes. We're looking at you. We don't want you to point to someone else.

How exactly do you know the flavor of the baddies? If I missed it, please point me in the right direction, but I didn't see any mention of them in Q's announcements.

Lets go back to random voting: Vote JodoYodo
(well, that's not true, I don't really do anything randomly... but meh.... I am going to shut up now)

Do you know how to shut up? Please, take your foot out of your mouth. It makes it harder for us to put the noose around your neck. If you do nothing randomly, then explain your vote on JodoYodo.

FOS:Seppel: Why are you defending a mass claim? Whoopi Goldberg may or may not be pure awesome (indubitably, a debate for another time) but SoronTheBeast is not.

    vote: SoronTheBeast

After I eat dinner, I'll probably be back later for a PBPA on Soron, armlx, and maybe Seppel if I feel saucy enough.

I'd vote for the rock, but that would only ROCK THE VOTE!

As such, Vote: mystery meat of doom for being the only player I do recognize who has posted thus far.

    Hi guys.

Yeah, I think two and a half years is plenty enough time for me to disappear for no apparent reason. I guess this means I'm back.

The last this forum saw of me, I was running away from a mafia game at full speed.

Consider this my "sidling back in with distinguished subtlety."

I am all that is man!

I will of course be rereading the thread, and checking for any silly little things like invisitext, editing, PM quoting and the like, but until I make further action....
Game on! It's day 2, with 5 to lynch!

I think that God (in his rather infinite love and mercy--he is God, you know...) forgives all. Otherwise, he really isn't God so much as some bad Star Trek special effect. All he asks (or should I say demands?) is that YOU are truly sorry. You can't just pop into a confessional, think of all the bad stuff you've done, and get off scot-free. You have to actually mean it AND try your best not to do it again (otherwise it defeats the purpose of going to confession in the first place.)

Stupidcounterspell, you just have to accept the fact that there probably isn't a "line" and if there is, it is going faster than you will.

My personal belief if that the universe is infinite because there is no end to a non-entity like a vacuum. It's not like vaccuum a stops, there's a line, and then vaccuum b begins. Unless your selling/buying vaccuums. Then I highly reccommend bagless.
