  • posted a message on How many game are lost due to Phage's CIP?
I've never lost to Phage's effect, but playing casual Shared Fate against bad opponents, have beat about 6 people. They would read the card but not realize that playing her from the removed from game pile is not their hand, therefore they lose.

Friend told me it started four hours later than it did, so I showed up and got mad that I was 4 hours late, then went and watched a movie. Did get to open 6 packs and got a Coat of Arms as my best pull.

And, I'm back. I've had computer problems for the last couple of days, first the power goes out then my keyboard breaks so this is the first decent amount of time I have been able to use it since last Tuesday. What have I missed in the last week and a half? Have we destroyed any infidels? I know Riley was looking forward to doing so.

I'll vote yes on Diggy, because I don't know much about him but his post here seemed cool.
Raia: That is the first time I have seen a score on the innergeek test that beats mine. 50% is what I got when I retook it last night. I have to do some more with the Star Trek questions to get a higher score.
Zirillan: I also have the DCI Lightning Bolt. I would trade it if you wanted it.

I haven't posted in about 7 days, I never realize how long it has been until there is a new thread. But I guess we can get rid of Frozen, because I think I said we should about 2 or 3 threads back.

Bel: What do you mean stealing Project Mayhem members? Why do you have that net? AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I'd say life in prison. I don't believe in the death penalty for anyone. What really gets me that in a country that is so much for the "right to life" and believing in Christian values that the death penalty exist.

    Windows 95 4 mana
    Artifact
Your opponents play with their hands revealed.
:2mana::symtap:: Draw a card at the beginning of your next upkeep.
:4mana::symtap:: Tap target creature with power 2 or less.
An opponent may pay 5 life to put a copy of Windows 95 into play under their control.
Today's best operating system will be the garbage of tomorrow.

This card is archaic because Windows 95 can't do much of anything anymore. So in computer terms it is "archaic".

  • posted a message on Why Lurk
I lurked News for about 8 months. The main reason I don't post on most message boards is that most people there are more experienced than me and have more respect so if I say something that contridicts them, I look stupid and the posters there turn against you. I think it is just out of paranoia that I have this feeling. I have been trying to break my lurking habit but it is very hard to do.

Yeah, Chucklez is right, there is still some jank that was there. In the second round of top 8 I played a rat deck, but it didn't have Jitte or Aether Vial. The other deck that made top 4 was Tooth and Nail that used Living Hive. That is to be expected in any event though.

Actually i watched my friend play in his JSS at Origins a few days ago, and it is actually about the same as the Meta. There were some very good players there too. My friend came in second with Tooth. WW won, but in all honesty it's pretty good. I lost to it the next day. WW was a suprise because I never expected it to do so well. Even my mainboard Annuls didn't help. (Then again I never drew a Shackles, so...)
Anyway, yeah just plan on playing about the same as a normal tourney. Every tourney has scrub decks, but for the most part you will see Tooth, Ponza, MGA, and MUC. (And apperantly WW)

I am this friend that he speaks of. At the JSS on friday at Origins, 20 people played and there were around 11 tooths. People must have thought it was a good metagame choice. Honestly, if I had the cards for any deck in Type 2, I would have played Neo-Affinity or U/G control. I had never played tooth before in a tournament and I made top 2 so I don't regret the decision. If you want I can send you my list if you decide to play it. Also, Tooth needs to get extremly lucky verses ponza. It was 1 of my 2 losses all day and he beat me bad.

I just found the weirdest news I have heard all week: http://animenewsnetwork.com/article.php?id=6949How is Eva going to air on Cartoon Network without edits? It is great news for me, as I have only seen 4 episodes but I don't want it unless it is pretty close to the unedited. Still, it is a great opportunity to get people into really good anime.

  • posted a message on The called vs Project Mayhem
I didn't want nan to hurt me so I voted Project Mayhem. But, in all honesty, they were the only clan thread I lurked on news, and when my friend started it on Salvation I jumped at the chance to join. Most famous to most people would be the Called, but to me, Project Mayhem.
