Hey guys I've been trying this version of zoo (I was playing Domain before) and I have a question. My local metagame is mostly Jund followed by RG Tron and then Affinity/Mono Blue Tron/Pod (both Melira and Kiki)UWR (both midrange and control) and monored (every other deck is played but not as much as those decks). So what would be the best version of this deck to play agan Jund/RG Tron/Affinity/Mono Blue Tron/Pod? What about the sideboard?

Well Zoo mainly the same Style of a deck. There is the core which is mainly the same creatures and same spells like bolt, pillar, dismember. Mainly what you would want to focus on is the sideboard which will be what you will be using to help in those match-ups. What differences you see in this deck would be either preference in splashing a White base or keeping it R/G or the budget fix for Tarmo such as Stormblood Beserker/Rancor Boost. I would Recommend you avoid going the Geist style of play though since the essential beatdown/burn is better then beatdown/pump in my opinion. Most decks that do well online are posted throughout so check those for an idea but you will see the same consistency in the majority of them with Tarmo, Kird Ape, Bolt, Pillar, Dismember, Vexing Devil, Burning Tree, E1.
I wonder if I oughta get Volcanic Fallout against R/W/U control. I did two matches against one for fun. I won the first game. Second game, he wrathed me and I ran out of gas. He swung with Celestial Colonnade til I died.
I boarded in 2 Vines of Vastwood and drew neither. Are there any other good cards against control? Should I get Troll Ascetic or Thrun?

Boros Charm really shines against wrath effects, and it's just insane reach in that MU, too.
(I see you're playing just RG from your sig, though. Thrun could be good, but Wrath prevents regen.)
Great Report here! Magic just also has the luck factor and it really isn't something you can fix on drawing lands. 19-20 lands seems suitable for all Zoo decks and just happens to be one of those days where drawing really never goes your way. Anyway we could see a deck list to compare?
Match up isnt bad so long as you avoid over extending too much unless you can read they dont have the wraith and you have a fast enough hand.
Really vines or boros charm puts it over the edge. we got rampagers too. Blood moon when theey dont expect it can wreck them.
I second this statement about Blood Moon. I was playing Molten Rain in my side for the longest time but on advice from the users on here I swapped them out for Blood Moons and oh what a difference! As they said a few pages ago, treat it as an "Armageddon" type card and you'll usually wreck them (if it's early). Because of this, if you can manage a win in game one, hopefully you will be able to Blood Moon them in the second game early enough to shut them down and out completely.

Flame Slash can kill Spellskite, Wall of Roots, Tarmogoyfs.
Being a sorcery, we have very few of them in our 75 and it can be relevant for making a turn 2 or 3 Goyf bigger.
Edit: Anyone thinking about playing Scavenging Ooze over the Vexing Devil/Strangleroot Geist slots? One of this deck's worse problems is getting through Goyfs, Ooze can appease that. Of course it hurts our own Goyfs, but we're not pumping up Ooze unless they're going to block it. It also gives us a more reliable play after Burning-Tree Emissary.
I missed burn so I rebuild the deck. It feels nice to have reach again. Video shows a bit more. Really the reach felt fantastic to have again. So far, very little trouble in the mana base. you still wanna grab stomping grounds first, then a white source.

This deck looks really fun to play and doesn't appear all that expensive to build (except for the fetches and Goyfs) I think I might start building it! Ill have to come up with a Goyf replacement though, I just can't afford a playset of him.

Lightning Mauler/Keldon Marauder's/Stormblood Berserker are probably your best bets.
Good luck on finding Goyfs, man. The deck does really want them.

I completely understand. I know why he is so dang good but I literally just can't afford to get him, let alone 4 of him! Money wise I just can't do it. I want to but I can't. Would I be better off just going with a completely different deck or what? If so, what?

Nah, the deck functions well without Goyfs, especially the really fast GR versions that are running Mutagenic Growth alongside GCR. (Those versions can be faster than Goyf sometimes, as in, he'll just be a slightly better Kird Ape)
If you have Geist and the shocks and fetches, and access to SCM you could go Domain.

Unfortunately I don't have many staples: no Geists, fetches, shocks or SCM.

Molten Rain hinders opponents, Blood Moon beats opponents.
One of my friends opened Blood Moon from a Modern Masters pack today. Maybe I'll see if I can get it from him...

I would also board some Pillar of Flame for Kitchen Finks and maybe Voice of Resurgence (If there is Pod wherever you play).
