i was thinking to myself about how you buy land cards as an investment as well as use them in decks, and how they almost never depreciate in value(rares and mythics) unless reprinted, and then a thought popped into my head, " M10 lands weren't reprinted" we have an almost clean slate except for Rav lands... what can we then speculate of Theros lands? I mean Innistrad had M10 enemy Duals paired with M10 and now Rav Lands, for the next season of Lands we only have Rav lands and a Mutavault.
Any Ideas what this might mean?
for Reference of FutureSight Lands here they are:
(I excluded the ones named after places on Dominaria)
But it probably means well see a new type of Theros dual land.

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?
But if Theros have duals it will be a cycle of 10 lands (probably).
And having Shocklands is enough to a good mana base ( Check + Shock in the same Standard is kind of exceptional as they don't like to have amazing manabases in any T2 season thats why we got Ghost Quarter in Innistrad...)
M15 brings Fetchlands so we can use our Dragon Maze cards for three more months before rotation. Why else bump M15 sealed ahead of Modern PTQ next year?!
It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.

how do you know M15 will bring fetchlands, also how are you defining fetchlands like the Onslaught/Zendikar ones or like Terramorphic, because the Onslaught/Zendikar are on the no print list.
River of Tears maybe it, but what about Nimbus Maze

They're certainly not reserved. He may be referring to the implied "no-print list" with cards like Force of Will and Mana Drain which, while not technically reserved, are never going to see print in anything more widely available than a From the Vault or Judge Promo.
I don't think the fetches fall under either category. I'm sure we'll see them reprinted eventually.
I always thought they were on the list... Still MaRo will NEVER let them get reprinted in a core set
He could put they in and make the worse core set possible and it would still be better core set ever....
But seriously Maro Has nothing to do with Core Sets...
(He can go there and say " Hey guys , whats up?" they: "What about Fetch lands in M15 Core set?"
Maro: " Evolving Wilds is always fine for coresets..." They: " No! we are talking about On/Zen fetchs"
Maro: " kkk are you seriously?kkk" They : "Yes"
Maro: "...." They: " ...."
We: " This is madness" Leonidas: " Madness you say? This is Sparta!!!"
)

ok, who ever they make lead designer would get either on hell of a yelling at(insert Inglorious Bastards reference here) or get a good firing... off a cliff ... into a dungeon of insane fangirls.
Yeah I'm going to agreed with River of tears they said that the lands they were going to print would be strictly worse then the check lands. So mana fixing would be harder. We are going to see a whole cycle of river of tears all of the other ones listed are better then river. so they won't be included.
Remember we are looking for lands that are worse then the M10 check lands. A bigger draw back.
I really like the idea of Nimbus Maze in being in.
River of Tears has memory issues, since people don't often think about land drops. People can never remember if they played a land. Also, I can't count how many times at FNM someone played a land against me then said: "Oops! in response.... wait..."
I don't think Wizards would put us through that again.
But, didn't they one say "filter lands" for Theros? Or at least "color filtering?" We might get a new cycle in that vain.
Also, people saying that 10 Dual Lands will be in Born of the Gods are crazy. There is no way they're going to use up that many slots in this set on duals. Maybe if we get some uncommon lands, but they're NOT going to use up 10 rare slots in this first set for dual lands. This set is about Gods, Monsters, and Heroes and they will be getting those slots.
Maybe by the end of the block we will see 10. But, this is not meant to be a multicolored block. So, my guess is it will just be half that number.

There is a article in the mothership where they say that now on they will print full cycle of lands (not only allied or enemy...)(I will not post the link cause i don't have it and also you can easily find it in any thread about lands in theros in the speculation forum )
Theros has multicolored cards( above the average in non multicolored sets and yet isn't a multicored set)( just like Innistrad)
And just like Innistrad had 10 lands in the rare slot Theros can also have that many slots...

well that part was obvious but what will they look like, so you think?

Would anyone recommend any other lands for modern other than those, or should I wait to see if any will go down (cavern of souls, checks, etc)?

But really its probably something new.

Maybe they don't want to reprint they cause we have shocklands in Standard (And they don't wan't functional 4-5 colors goodstuff in standard...)

The most likely candidate.
Because Nimbus Maze + Shocks = Pseudo Original Duals Reprint
How you should approach every game of Magic.

sounds like an interesting interaction, never put stuff like that in front of them, they may do it either out of brilliance or stupidity

why do you figure maze?
where was that announced?
or flicker effects, maybe legendary lands that flick RoT style lands to make it better
