I think they would find the Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar loop degenerate because I used to have a Ghave deck that ran that combo (among others) and it was not a popular deck at all.
I used to run Nim Death Mantle with sac lands for Palinchron to go infinite. I felt several games NDM was a dead card, and that Corpse Dance + a sac land could get me to go infinite with Palinchron just as well.
Really though, cheating out S.Primordial early, (like T2-T3) is just as degenerate as any infinte in my eyes.
Has anyone used Wurmcoil Engine in this deck? I've been kind of disappointed by Duplicant lately, but I don't want to have a complete break in the Pod Chain, and I have been liking Wurmcoil in some of my other decks. We could really use the life gain to help offset all of the damage we do to ourselves, and he's a sizable beater and not a terrible reanimate target. He pods nicely into a 7 drop, and his tokens can be used to restart the chain since I'm now running a couple of one-drops. Any thoughts?
EDIT: He also works pretty nicely with Academy Ruins.
I ran wurmcoil for a while, he's definitely good but the problem with it is that is doesn't do anything once it hits play. Sure, he's formidable in combat, but does that matter when everything is getting bounced, tucked and exiled? Depending on how your meta deals with creature, he's either great or worthless. A 6 drop I've been wanting to try out lately is massacre wurm, it eats all the annoying utility guys people like to run as well as most tokens, and does it as painfully as possible. The 6/5 body isn't too shabby and the second effect is continuous so it can punish people doing sacrifice shenanigans.

I actually do really like Massacre Wurm in certain situations, but I'm not sure he would be as effective as I would like in my meta right now because there aren't too many weenie aggro and tokens decks right now. He would be awesome against Krenko and decent against Kemba and Prossh, but most other decks don't mind him too much. One thing that I really liked doing with him in the past was getting out Ixidron and then Podding it into Massacre Wurm for a one-sided board wipe that would also drain a significant amount of life in addition to killing everything.

To me the question is, how competitive do you want to be? Wurmcoil Engine is pod fodder, sure thing, but how good of a creature is it on it's own? There's really only a finite set of value creatures the more competitive you get. And wanting to tweek lists only leads to the inevitable. The most competitive list you can make.
As I stated before, flashing in Venser, Shaper Savant EOT and sac-ing him to pod ~ Phyrexian Delver get back Venser. If it makes it back to you, simply sac P.Delver for Dead Eye Navigator and chances are you are going to start bouncing a lot of things. This pod chain only needs to go up to 6CMC.
But what else is good at 6CMC? We don't have Prime time anymore, and then there's C.Sphinx. Does anyone want to pod away from C.Sphinx? I'm going to say yes. But only when you have the right set of cards in hand to retrigger S.Primordial's ETB ability or go infinite with Palinchron. Now this chain only needs to go up to 7CMC.
Is there really any point to pod up to 8CMC? Maybe to seal the deal with Terrastadon or Woodfall Primus. But after that, it's just pointless. There isn't any good creatures to pod into at 9CMC imo.
Massacre Wurm is an excellent 6CMC to pod into if you have Natural Affinity in hand.
Perhaps I'm not looking closely enough, but the most efficient pod chains I'm seeing go to 6CMC. At which point there are a few options to simply take over the game. I'd run with a few of the ones I've pointed out.

I know my playgroup would not be a fan of any of the builds that involve mass land destruction, as it is perhaps the one thing they hate more than infinite combos. This perplexes me a little bit, but I can't change their minds, so I just have to live with it. The first one looks more like something that they would be okay with, but I would definitely have to tweak things a bit to find space for those cards. I guess when I'm using Pod I don't typically have pre-planned sequences that I go for, but rather I just use it to tutor up the most relevant card for the current situation. I suppose that makes my deck more reactive whereas yours is more proactive, which I guess is just a different take on the strategy. I think my playgroup is opposed to things that beat them too easily, like combo and LD, and prefer games where someone has to work and grind more to win, which suits control and ETB decks much better.
I kind of think I am trying to do too much with this deck lately. I'm trying to make it a Birthing Pod deck as well as a reanimator deck while also including the utility land value package and the previous Swords package. All of this wrapped up in the controllish shell has me feeling like the deck is trying to do too many things at once, and making me think I should focus on one or two of these aspects rather than trying to cram all these things into one build. Birthing Pod is one of my favorite magic cards, but perhaps it needs to be cut to shift the focus more towards the control and reanimator elements. I could definitely build a different deck around Birthing Pod, maybe Derevi.
If I were to go that way, I would look at cutting stuff like:
This is definitely not something I'm set on doing, but it is a consideration to attempt to make my deck a bit more focused.
@Secularon: As far as your current list, I have a few questions. First, how do you feel about Mana Rocks vs Mana Dorks? Second, How does Corpse Dance work out for you since you don't have many sac outlets? Third, how do you set yourself up to win with Death Cloud? I think it's an awesome card but I'm not sure how best to use it to full effect.
Oracle of Mul Daya is value town all the way. I've cut it, put it back in, cut it, put it back in. I've really debated about it, but man, it's so good when you start including things like scroll rack, top, and Sylvan Library.
I cut Phyrexian Arena a loooooong time ago. It's a great card. But when I'm tapping for 3 I want to do something else. And besides, there's some things you're going to reanimate that get them cards.
I agree with a lot of your cuts. I don't know what I'd do without my Trinket Mage though. Some of my friends who run insanely tight combo lists even cut him.
I don't think there is anything wrong with keeping your version a reanimator deck that also had Birthing Pod in it. Sure, cut the swords and whatever land shenanigans you had.
You can keep your pitch spells at a low cmc. You can always pod away a looter, if you've looked into those creatures. Perhaps they might help your deck out.

I just sometimes feel like I am overcommiting to the Birthing Pod package which is something I shouldn't be doing, but I almost feel like I need to to justify its inclusion. Same thing with Trinket Mage. I keep thinking about cutting Skullclamp, and then I'm reminded that it's not worth running Trinket Mage for just Sol Ring and Top. Also I'm not a huge fan of the looting creatures as they are a bit slow to use and pretty fragile. And as far as the pitch spells, which low cost ones do you mean other than Careful Study? I know Whispering Madness is a bit costly, but the interaction with Notion Thief is too good to pass up, and it also enables me to potentially pick some nice targets from opposing graveyards as well.
If you look at the bottom of my last post I had a few questions about your deck.
@Secularon: As far as your current list, I have a few questions. First, how do you feel about Mana Rocks vs Mana Dorks? Second, How does Corpse Dance work out for you since you don't have many sac outlets? Third, how do you set yourself up to win with Death Cloud? I'm sure I could use mana dudes, but then my DeathCloud isn't as effective for me to push ahead of everyone else. If I were to use a mana dude, it'd only be BOP or DRS.
Corpse Dance works out just fine. I have 3 sac outlets, which are the tap to sac lands. So it goes infinite with Palinchron. Also, if you can block and get killed, you can rez at instant speed and still save your guy.
Just having Sylvan Library out, or Life from the Loam in your GY will allow you to push ahead of everyone else with DC. That or ramping off of Oracle of Mul Daya, or just amassing a lot of cards or sticking mana rocks. As long as you are ahead on resources, it should seal up the game for you.
Don't forget, Sylvan Primordial is a 6-for-1 in a 4 man game. Just sticking him once usually allows for a follow up Deathcloud. Also, if your hand survives a Deathcloud (like you have 1 or 2 cards left) keep your reanimation spells. goodies usually hit the yard. The card is nearly insta win.
Opinion on keeping Lord of Extinction+Triskelion 'combo' in my deck? Might make room for a deathrite shaman+reanimation target if I take them out.
The fact that I can usually only shoot down one opponent in a multiplayer game as it doesn't count as commander damage (to my knowledge) makes me apprehensive to keeping them in.

You are correct that it doesn't count for Commander damage, and I would probably cut this package if I were you. It just isn't that consistent because it takes time to build up graveyards, and you usually can't pull it off effectively before the late game. It's a fun thing to do, but if you want to make your deck more consistent, I wouldn't run it.
Ended up taking them out for a DRS and a JTMS. How do you feel about Liliana of the veil, it seems to do things we like. I'm running a similar build to what you ran previous to the revamp you just went through.

We don't really have many ways of protecting Planeswalkers compared to something like a pillowfort or dedicated control deck, so I would say that you're unlikely to get the maximum mileage out of them most of the time. Liliana is an okay discard outlet and works as removal in a pinch, but I'm not a huge fan unless you can get it to stick around for 3-4 turns or more.
As for the changes I have been making, I'm not sure I am going to keep them all, I just feel like experimenting with different things, especially because the deck has been feeling a bit stale and unfocused to me lately.
It's been a while since I've run Mimeoplasm as a general, but when I did, I built it under the same aggro/ control premise. A few months back, I have a friend my old list, and there were a few interactions off of a creature engine I had once used that he thought were pretty cool.
Any bomb on the too of your library for 2GG or an opponent's spell. Due to opponents running infi-mill as a win con,
Graveyard Protection
Krosan Grip or above creature engine or Entomb + Gaea's Blessing
I also ran Gaea's Blessing in the deck to prevent decking while still being able to force it to trigger in response to a crypt activation by sandbagging an Entomb or keeping a blessing on top of my library. By paying 2GG to call of the wild, I can force Blessing to pop, shuffling everything back in if necessary.
Vengeful Pharoah recursion:
Above creature engine + Vengeful Pharaoh.
Essentially got me free kill triggers on attackers. Use survival effect or entomb to dump Pharoah before the damage step, than off an attacker for Mimeo Reanimation later. Call of the Wild or Lurking Predators ensures you don't draw Pharoah but instead put it back into play to be sacrificed for mana, life, a fight trigger with Ulvenwald Tracker or a Birthing Pod trigger.
The beautiful thing about the above engine was that you could pop creatures into play out of nowhere, making you a dangerous person to attack. The only downside was that the engine was mana intensive, so I ran both Seedborn Muse and Awakening in my old list to generate a lot of mana every turn. Now with the new Prophet, there's a threshold of these effects where you won't be bottlenecked if they deal with the one you drew. Prophet may make me put this deck back together.
Has anyone used these synergies together, and if so, how was your experience?
How often does Massacre Wurm+ Natural Affinity actually become a game ender?
My playgroup is very competitive and my infinite instant win combo takes up more card spots than I'd like.

Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)

It does nothing in the early game. It's only a blow out once people have laid 4-5 land drops. And really, it's more cute than competitive, which is why I don't run it in my latest list.
If nobody has ever seen it before it's just an insult to injury type of play. The most brutal thing I can think of in the game. It's just mean.

My playgroup is very competitive and my build has a more "cute" finisher that I feel has too many "win more" cards than anything. Though I'd like to add these two for a week or two to see reactions more than anything.
Edit: Also another issue is I cannot get an Imperial seal or Grim tutor for the time being. Any decent substitutions?

I don't use Grim Tutor and there's no substitution for Imperial Seal. If your playgroup is very competitive they shouldn't have a problem with you printing off a really nice color proxy of anything. What's your list look like?

Has anyone tried Mystical Teachings in a deck like this? We have a decent number of targets, and it can be used again from the graveyard for card advantage. Also the fact that it tutors for any creature with Teferi in play is really cool and a nice bonus, which happens to work quite well because of the flashback, meaning you can tutor up Teferi and then flash it back to get any creature or instant. It is probably a bit too slow, but I just thought I would throw the idea out there.

It would always find Intuition or FoF... Or Jin... or Fow/Cryptic Command... maybe Ghostly Flicker if i needed to close out the game... Finds snapcaster too...

Cheap / Free creature engine
Sensei's Divining Top or Soothsaying or Scroll Rack & Lurking Predators or Call of the Wild
