I still have some doubts, if only because I think that's a major step down in terms of overall power for a character on a card.
Cardwise maybe, but flavorwise becoming indestructible is much more powerful. Eternal life, influence over a whole plane outside of what you can physically do. That's more "powerful" especially if he doesn't lose his spark in the process.
This is no real spoiler on my part, but I can guarantee Minotaur tribal will be possible by the end of the block. Hell, they are already a limited powerhouse. If they get a few more low costed beaters, especially in red, they'll be really really good and I bet we could see Rakdos Aggro decks making a come in standard. I wonder what the legendary Minotaur and Mogis will be costed at...
Black DoJ and enchantment recursion land are things that people on this forum specifically talked about wanting many times. Mark me down as intrigued but skeptical because this list seems tailored to wish fulfillment.
we have been told Zenagos is not happy as a walker.
We also have three different pieces of artwork with him, gigantic, radiating a Nyx starfield. "Xenagos is a God" is like "Vader is Luke's poppa" at this point.

I'm not totally convinced he will end up a god.
I'm also not totally convinced that he has to have a god card like the others, heck maybe he is card is a normal creature that becomes a god enchantment and gains indestructible when your devotion enables.
But yeah I think we will see a RG Xenagos god... but I also think it will be in JOU not BNG.
I'm skeptical. The Kraken-thing I can see, being part of the incomplete Giant Adephage cycle. The enchantment land seems a tad OP, though not unrealistic. I have no thoughts on the black DoJ. The legendary minotaur seems likely, in a block emphasizing legendary things and having tribal minotaurs, not having a legendary one by this point is just silly.
The thing I'm most concerned about is Mogis. In the last week, I posted a thread in Speculation (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=575889) containing my theory of which gods were making it into BNG and which weren't.
In addition to color-balancing issues taking into account the likelihood of Xenagos's and Iroas's respective appearances in BNG, "God of Violence" doesn't sound right. All of the god cards from the Theros set are titled "(subject), God of the (noun)". Granted, this new cycle of gods may instead be entitled things like "Iroas, God of War" as opposed to "Iroas, God of the War", which sounds a tad silly. Nonetheless, "God of Violence" sounds wrong, as Violence can be covered by many gods in different respects. For instance, Nylea, being the god of the hunt, requires violence in her sphere of influence. No, I believe Mogis will likely be the god of chaos.
Tl;dr: I don't think "Mogis, God of Violence" will be appearing in BNG.
Cardwise maybe, but flavorwise becoming indestructible is much more powerful. Eternal life, influence over a whole plane outside of what you can physically do. That's more "powerful" especially if he doesn't lose his spark in the process.
That's the thing, though: MaRo has specifically stated that Planeswalker-hood transcends anything else on a card, including Creature Type. Thus, it would stand to reason that by getting a God card, he would almost HAVE to lose his spark.
Ok if there is a black DOJ my dimir control deck just jizzed a big one because that deck needs a nice sweeper and that will fit the bill. Now give me Serum Visions and condescend and we have a deal!!
That's the thing, though: MaRo has specifically stated that Planeswalker-hood transcends anything else on a card, including Creature Type. Thus, it would stand to reason that by getting a God card, he would almost HAVE to lose his spark.
MaRo isn't creative and this wasn't a (purely) creative decision. Its a rule they've set to make the PW card type both look and function special (i.e. you can't sac tezzeret to Atog or have him count towards metalcraft, etc.) It has nothing to do with sparks or not - a spark doesn't stop Ajani from being a cat lore wise for example, it just stops cat type from appearing on a PW card.
So while Enchantment Planeswalker may be unlikely, it says nothing about an Enchantment or Enchantment Creature card. For example the Gods actually reside in Nyx and influence Theros from afar, appearing in visions or as avatars (i.e. in the night sky). If you interpret the God cards more as a reflection of their interaction with Theros - as utterly gimped without devoted followers - then the card represents the limited way Gods manifest to mortals and nothing else. In that case whatever Xenagos' status of sparkdom is irrelevant to what God powers are shown off, and it becomes purely a lore question of whether you can wield both powers at once, as even if you can the PW powers don't have to show up on the god card.
So I was at my local TCG store earlier, and everyone was talking about this rumor that they had heard about a few cards that were apparently said to be in Born of the Gods. I am unsure of how credible the source is, but apparently they had found the names of a couple of cards and a few other things about them. It was on a thrown out print sheet from Wizards; like the checklists you get in the Fat Packs. By no means do I know if it's true, but it sounds pretty believable. This is the information they had gathered.
- A legendary blue Kraken that makes a 9/9 Kraken when it deals combat damage to a player. The name was not given.
- A legendary minotaur that makes an opponent discard two cards at random.
- A legendary land that taps for colorless and can pay two mana of any color to return an enchantment from your graveyard to your hand (or top of library?) I think this was rare.
Once again, I do not know the credibility of the source, but everyone was talking about the papers. I was wondering if anyone else had heard anything about these? If anyone could let me know, feel free to discuss! Thanks
I can't confirm these are in, but I can say that they are HIGHLY likely real.

I would love to see a black Day of Judgment, and count me intrigued.
In block, that would give black 2 sweepers, combined with Hythonia. This seems unprecedented, for black to be taking white's traditional role.
*sigh*
As much as I do think that black (the creature destruction color) should have dibbs on mass creature destruction anyway (why did they give that to white? It makes absolutely no sense at all), I'm depressed at the black DoJ because now whatever tiny chance my monogreen deck had is probably gone. It's almost as if Wizards just doesn't like for their game to be fun. Seriously, how is a deck that consists of 80% removal, 19% card draw, and 1% wincon (i.e. every mono black deck in the format) fun?

Last standard green was BY-FAR the most overpowered color with stupid creatures that gave you value if you killed them or not. That was like 90% creatures (now isnt even that far off with decks like mono U)
-A minotaur that gives Hymns to Tourach is my wet dream and I can see it at an high cmc.
-Ferocious charge makes sense as a reprint.
-God of "violence" seems a bit off to me.
-I really hope that we are finally going to see another good wrath in black, since
I really need it and it is bound to happen someday. I can see this happening.
-Now, this land. I am fairly sure that there was a fake Theros spoiler that was exactly this land. It was a colorless land that could give colorless mana or pay 2, tap and return an enchantment from your graveyard to your hand, so I don't think this will be real. EDIT: I found said land, it was called "Hall of Oaths"
Here it is. This alone pretty much discredits everything else in my eyes.
One of my most trusted sources hinted that the black DoJ is correct and that Mogis is in.
Note: A) it was not outright stated that it was right, B) I'm assuming if one is correct that the others are correct, and C) I have no further information on these, so whether names are correct or how accurate something might be isn't something I can answer.
Example, I don't know if the black board wipe will have a regen clause or not. But this does give us some idea of what to expect.

Because it requires more skill than HURR DURR I PLAY A GIANT FAT CREATURE HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
The land looks ultra powerful as it is. Recurring your bestow creatures with no drawback looks insane. As not caring much about about card disadvantage on a regular aura on one of creatures if it gets bounced or killed... I hope it is not coming in that form.
I fully believe in that land. It will be top of library to complete the forever cycle of Volrath's Stronghold and Academy Ruins. I've wanted this card for a very long time.
it would better have partially colored activation cost to be part of the cycle. I'm still happy about such card, though.
Pleased with other spoilers as well, can't wait to see the undoubtedly glorious art of those.
