Honestly though I like your attitude. If something comes up with a guy I'm sure you'll try it and probably enjoy it. Well if you've stopped pretending then you have nothing to complain about You can't talk about people in your year and get upset when they don't understand you when you're not even making an effort to help them understand you. You don't have to compromise who you are to make friends. For the most part you COULD talk to people in your year and you COULD make friends. That would show true maturity. The world is a social place. You don't have to make friends with people you don't like but you could find that you actually like some of the people in your year if you gave it a chance. And don't tell me you already gave it a chance because if that were true you'd have several friends in your grade right now.
And don't delude yourself into thinking that you're more mature than they are. That's a classification that you're not objective enough to make. If you think your peers don't reflect on things then you're wrong. Everyone thinks about everything and life in general. But fitting in is not about being popular, it's about being human. You can be you, you can read, you can think, but you can make friends. Companionship now can help stop future companionship problems before they start. If you're a loner now, in the years when life should be full of friendships that you're testing out to see how they'll last, then what will you be when you're 18? What will you be when you're 21? What will you be when you're 30? 40? And on your deathbed when you have no one there to comfort you will you still be just as glad that you stuck to what you thought were good principles if no one is even there to mourn your loss?
Granted that's the most extreme case but you have to understand why we're sent to school in the first place. It's not just to learn. No if that were the case they would charge for school everywhere and only the people that could afford it would go. It's also to get children used to a social setting and an authorotative hierarchy. Being alone is great for reflection. Being alone is great for doing work and concentrating and thinking. But in the real world you're rarely alone to do that stuff. Perhaps you could use a little chaos. If you never change and grow socially then in 10 years you'll be looking back wishing you had done something else. You could be making friends and thinking about the interworkings of relationships. That would greatly aid you in future endeavors. But you surely cannot presume to understand how the minds of your peers work if you've barely experienced what they have to offer.
All I'm saying, for your own good, is that you should give your year a chance. These are people you'll be around for a while. Not all of them will be interesting and not all of them will be worth the time to pursue a friendship with... but in the effort you gain so much experience. And by the time you graduate you'll have matured way past what you think you are at now.
I like that you're a thinker. It's why I'm telling you all this. It's great. But if you don't try to understand how these people work you'll never understand why you're nostalgic for different schools and "better days" and you'll never have the confidence to ignore their snide remarks and rise above the petty high school crap.
Please do, by all means, keep thinking about yourself and life. But note that just because you're a loner doesn't mean that you're alone in the world. I've never hung out with you so I don't know what you like to do or what your personality is (though I could guess). The thing is, the confident person can be who he is around everyone. Depending on your personality you should be able to be you where ever you are amongst any number of people and none of them should bat an eye. (Unless of course you're loud and hyper like I am cuz then if they aren't batting eyes they're laughing their asses off. But I don't think you're hyper.)
And you're smaller than most guys. The two archetypes for small kids have always been "Bully because I need to fight to prove I'm as good as you" and "Wallflower because I'm already small and if I don't make a scene no one will notice me". It's rare when the mold is broke and you get a person that's smaller but confident so no one really notices your height or frame. Those people are awesome regardless of what they're into in their private lives.
I'm just worried from what I'm reading that you're spending more time complaining about things and whining and reminiscing without actually analyzing why you miss those days or thinking of the significance of your qualms. You cannot claim maturity in your sense because you're not objective. You can demonstrate maturity through actions or the end thought of a long sustained thought process. Don't put yourself above your classmates. That separates you even further. You should never go into something thinking you are better than someone else. Your actions should not be guided by the thought of your superiority but the thought that you're going to do your best. That's why they throw such a barrage at you when you're younger. It's not that they want to spend so little time on it, it's that, and they don't tell you this, they want you to try these games outside on your own free time so that you can be physically fit. PE is a slough off class these days and it's pathetic. Truly, to be happier down the line, find something now that you can play and get into. You'll lose weight and it won't be this big ordeal later because you won't even notice that you're trying to lose weight.

That's a small list of things you could look into to see if you enjoy them. Some of them aren't so intensive that you'll build a lot of muscle and lose a lot of weight quickly, but it broadens you to be able to do some of that list even if you don't do it particularly well. Reading a book will not make you lose weight. Being reflective does not burn calories enough to make you thin. But the more fun you have doing those things (though I laugh at curling) the less like "trying to lose weight" it is. Some friendly suggestions. You don't want to wake up one morning when you're 22 and realize that you have to go to the gym every day because when you're at work you do nothing but sit on your butt because that's what thinkers do all the while wishing you had saved yourself this trouble by getting into decent shape when you had so much time on your hands as a child so that going to the gym would be "getting back to where you were" instead of "reinventing yourself with an image you're finally happy with"
I used to think I was more mature than the guys my age, and my dad still insists that I'm more mature than most, and I believe him, but I realized my fault of thinking I'm in any way superior to someone less mature than myself, and how I was wrong thinking that there aren't really mature people in my grade. My friends have shocked me with what they've done, what they've thought about, and the kinds of things they're into but never mentioned. There's so much to people. You could be in a relationship with someone for years and years and still only be getting to know them.
My friend took fencing for about a year, and I think he's picking it up again when he's not lazy with summer vacation syndrome. It's apparently perfect for someone who already has, or wants to hone, their arm strength and reflexes. These were my friend's strong points as it was, so he had a blast.
In my experience, people who claim to be more mature than everyone around them are generally .... well .... not. I used to think I was so much more mature than my peers, but looking back, I was just full of ****.

Pirates of the Caribbean was ... interesting? And bad?
I liked it. It definitely wasn't as good as the first and felt a bit forced at times, but it was packed with tons of fun moments and a heck of a lot of it was very well done.

Anyway, I got back from Cocoa Beach, Florida today. It was a mostly good time...My brother and I drove his new Mazda 6 hatch down and our parents took a small moving truck. After about 1080 miles (around 1740 km), we got to my brother's new apartment in pouring rain and thendurstorms. Unloading the truck was a lot of fun
But after that snafu, my brother's apartment was made for someone boring in the 30's, his girlfriend's townhouse and her mom's condo's are amazing, and the water in Florida is pretty damn warm. And Pirates of the Caribbean 2 sucks.
