Welcome to the May FCC. Surprised I'm hosting? Well you shouldn't be. It was obvious.
In recognition of Future Sight's eminent release, I thought it would be appropriate to have a FS-related round. And really, why should the later rounds get to have all the fun?
For this round, choose a timeshifted card from Future Sight and design a card with the same futureshifted mechanic.
For example, you could pick Oriss, Samite Guardian and create a legend with Grandeur. Or you could pick Lucent Liminid and make an enchantment creature. Or you could pick Tombstalker and make a card with Delve. Etc. The sky is the limit to let your imagination run wild. One caveat: no using mechanics that we have no idea what they do. That means no riggers or contraptions, no planeswalker cards, etc.
Important! -> In order to fullfill the round requirements, each player must indicate in their post what card they are referencing. This will be tricky enough without the poor judges having to guess what you're thinking.
Bonus points: Not a land or artifact - 1 point Not multicolored - 1 point Use Mana Symbols in card (must be in both textcard and render (if submitted) in order to count) - 1 point Supply rendered card art - 1-2 points (1 for supplying art, 1 discretionary for judges)
Point breakdown: Bonus: (x/5): Judge how the card fits the bonus parameters. Balance: (x/10): Judge how the card is balanced; its power level, and whether or not it could make or break a format. Flavor/Creativity/Quality: (x/10): Judge how flavorful, cool, and well-worded the card is. Basically, this is the "slickness" category. (If a card fails to fit the round, points should be deducted from here.)
Players may wish to reference the Players List. If you have questions about the FCC, check out the FAQ. If you have a question about using MSE, find your answer here.
This round will run until midnight EDT Saturday, May 5th (when Saturday becomes Sunday). Have fun!
Judges, please don't begin judging until the round is over. You may start postings at 12:01am EDT, even if we (Moss_Elemental, Avatar of Kokusho, and Kraj) are not online then to close the round. In the case of a tie, both players move on to the next round. However, please try to avoid ties if possible!
For this round, your top four players will advance to the next round. Also, since futureshifted frames are not yet available for most render tools, do not mark off players' bonus scores for using regular frames.
Tranquil Spirit2W
Enchantment creature - Angel
Kicker W
Flying
When Tranquil Spirit comes into play, destroy all enchantments. If the kicker cost was paid, destroy all enchantments not named Tranquil Spirit instead. Originally thought to be spells, it was discovered that they were actually strange, often self-destructive spirits.
3/2
Tethers of Courage :1mana::symw::symw:
Enchantment -- Aura
Enchant creature card in your graveyard
Creatures that share a color with enchanted creature get +1/+1.
You may play Tethers of Courage from your graveyard. If you do, put a creature card in your graveyard on the bottom of your library. The spirit endures, even after it has left the flesh.
No flavor text, but I hope it can carry on nonetheless.
Uses graveyard enchantment from Spellweaver Volute.
Testament of Rings1G
Tribal Enchantment - Spellshaper (U) G, T, Discard a card: Put a green enchantment token named Ward of the Real into play with "At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player sacrifices an artifact or enchantment." The invasion's screams are etched forever.
Faith's Absolution 1WW
Enchantment-Aura
Enchant creature
When Faith's Absolution comes into play, you may reveal up to four enchantment cards in your hand. Put a +1/+1 counter on enchanted creature for each enchantment revealed this way.
Enchanted creature has lifelink.
Aura swap WW, Return an enchantment you control to its owner's hand. "Faith is the only way to escape this purgatory. Lose it and you lose everything."
Skyshroud Scout 1GR
Creature-Elf Warrior [u]
Elfcycling — Tap 2 target creatures you control.
Madness —
3/1 Always first to leave their home. Always first to defend their home.
Mechanic taken from Vedalken Aethermage and Homing Sliver
Better render to come soon.
Ghostlight Infiltrator 2BB
Creature-Spirit
Delve
At the beginning of your upkeep, remove the top card of your library from the game. If the removed card is a creature, Ghostlight Infiltrator gets +1/+1, fear, and protection from white until end of turn.
As long as you own five or more cards removed from the game, Ghostlight Infiltrator loses all abilities.
2/3 "Its not always smart to approach the light."
Delve from Tomstalker, pretty self-explanatory card.
Maskdancer 3U
Transfigure 1UU
When you Transfigure Maskdancer, the creature you put into play acquires this ability, the creature type Shapeshifter, and Transfigure 1UU.
New Mechanic: Delve (You may remove any number of cards in your graveyard from the game as you play this spell. It costs {1} less to play for each card removed this way.)
Evincar's Assassin3BBB
Creature - Human Assassin (R)
When Evincar's Assasin comes into play, destroy target nonblack creature. It can't be regenerated. BB,T, Sacrifice Evincar's Assasin: Target player discards a card from their hand.
Delve, Dredge 4 The evincar taught him only one thing, destruction.
Maroklow, the Broken Mirror 4B
Legendary Creature - Moonfolk Wizard Samurai
Flying, first strike
Bushido 1
Grandeur — Discard another card named Maroklow, the Broken Mirror from your hand: Return any number of swamps from play to your hand. Put that many 1/1 insect creature tokens into play. With the destruction of Oboro and the dishonor of their treachery, the proud soratami and their future kin were forced to pursue a less than noble life.
4/2
Why I suppose I'm referencing the Grandeur legends. Edit: Do I have to reference a specific card? To be safe I'll just say Oriss, Samite Guardian.
Player #8: Eliminator, vs. the field
Judge: Absolutionis
Cards referenced: Thornweald Archer, for reach Arcanum Wings, for aura swap
All the mix and match cards (okay, mix and match isn't futureshifted but it still makes my card feel even more future sight-y)
Elusive Web - 1G
Enchantment -- Aura (U)
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 and has reach.
Manifest 2GG(2GG, Reveal this card from your hand: Put a 2/2 colorless Spirit creature token into play and attach this card to it. Play this ability only any time you can play a sorcery.)
Aura swap 1GG(1GG: Exchange this Aura with an Aura card in your hand.)
Exiled Watchtower - 2
Tribal Artifact - Rebel Fortification (Rare)
Fortified land has ",T: Search your library for a Rebel permanent card with a converted mana cost of 3 or less, reveal it, and put it into play. Shuffle your library."
Fortify 3 No matter the cause, all who fight for freedom may find sanctuary within.
Inspired by Bitter Ordeal.
Burning Vengeance R
Instant (R)
Burning Vengeance deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
Gravestorm
Flashback—R, Remove your graveyard from the game. Traditionally, the dead are honored by burning their remains. In Shiv, the dead are honored by burning everything else.
My card: Soul's Gatekeeper 2BB
Legendary Creature - Spirit
Transfigure 1BB
Dredge 5
Soul's Gatekeeper is indestructible.
Whenever you dredge a card, shuffle the bottom card of your graveyard into your library.

Render:
Note: I'm pretty sure it's not PolarBearGod's picture that he or she created. I found it on PolarBearGod's "Fantasy Art for Card Creation" thread, post #75.
Credit goes to the original creator of this fine piece of artwork, whomever they should be. I don't even have a title to go off of. It was titled "1392" in the thread. Oh well.
Transfiguration - :2mana::symb::symb:
Enchantment (R)
Creatures you control have Transfigure 2BB(2BB, Sacrifice this creature: Search your library for a creature card with the same converted mana cost as this creature and put that card into play. Then shuffle your library. Play only as a sorcery.)
Syphon of Mana :3mana::symg::symg:
Creature- Elemental
Spells that target Syphon of Mana cost less to play.
When Syphon of Mana becomes the target of a spell, counter that spell. Put X +1+1 counters on Syphon of Mana, where X is the converted mana cost of that spell.
2/3
Bonus points: Not a land or artifact - 1 point Not multicolored - 1 point Use Mana Symbols in card (must be in both textcard and render (if submitted) in order to count) - 1 point Supply rendered card art - 1-2 points (1 for supplying art, 1 discretionary for judges)
Transfiguration - 2BB Enchantment (R) Creatures you control have Transfigure 2BB (2BB, Sacrifice this creature: Search your library for a creature card with the same converted mana cost as this creature and put that card into play. Then shuffle your library. Play only as a sorcery.)
Bonus 5/5 Like The Art! Balance 8/10 I’m glad you upped the cost for the transfigure ability from Fleshwrither – bearing in mind that the creatures that you play using this are uncounterable, and it also means you can search for exactly what you want all the time. Cost could have been increased to 1BBB for the enchantment, but overall it seems relatively well balanced FCQ 5/10 Flavour: Where is the flavour text? There is loads of space for it seeings that at rare, the reminder text is not necessary. This card is really lacking something to make you go “oh yeah!” Creativity: There is none. The card takes an ability (defined by the round requirements nonetheless) and makes it global to creatures you control. Plus, the name is just the ability. That would be like designing an enchantment called “Flying” which gives all creatures you control Flying… Quality: No problems, except Transfigure should not be capitalised. Extra: I do like the fact that you have kept your card simple (ability wise, not flavour wise). I likes it better when it was an uncommon aura for just one creature, but hey – this is the one you submitted… But I like that you didn’t get confused and try to make a complicated enchantment.
TOTAL: 18/25
Death Torrent - 3BBB Sorcery
Return target creature card from your graveyard to play.
Gravestorm (When you play this spell, copy it for each permanent put into a graveyard this turn. You may choose new targets for the copies.)
Once plagued with misfortune, the misfortunate return to plague the mortals who did them in.
Bonus 5/5 Zombie army…looks good. Balance 7/10 At first glance I thought “Oh my God, what made him think this was OK?!” but you either have just set off a damnation (and committed heavily on mana) or have sacrificed a load of permanents to make it worth your while at that cost, so you would be expecting to either win the game, or be several steps closer to it! FCQ 6.5/10 Flavour: I get where you were coming from, but firstly I don’t like “done them in” it sounds a bit un- to me, tacky and cliché. Secondly, why is it a death torrent? Surely undeath torrent would be more suitable… It doesn’t cause death, it feeds off it. Creativity: I’m hoping that Wizards haven’t seriously considered Zombify with a storm-ability so creative in that sense…but further than that, not particularly creative. Quality: No problems other than “the misfortunates return” in the flavour text
TOTAL: 18.5/25
Sayisha, Master of Disguise 2BB Legendary Creature - Human Assassin (R) First Strike Transfigure 1BB Whenever you transfigure Sayisha, the next creature that comes into play this turn gets "3BB, Sacrifice this creature: Return Sayisha to its owner's hand." 2/2
Bonus 5/5 I LOVE the picture Balance 8/10 Transfigure seems good on this creature. Legendary seems a little unnecessary (further than flavour reasons) although does help somewhat in balancing the card. The creature that she transfigures into can be sacrificed to bring her back…seems fair, if slightly over costed. FCQ 9.5/10 Flavour: I love the disguise idea. It seems very fitting with the combination of abilities. No flavour text, but the lack of space discouraged it and the flavour of the card stands without it! Creativity: The two main abilities fit perfectly together. First strike does seem a little tagged on, but wits with the assassin idea. Quality: “Return Sayisha from your graveyard to your hand”
TOTAL: 22.5/25
Soul's Gatekeeper 2BBLegendary Creature - Spirit Transfigure 1BB Dredge 5 Soul's Gatekeeper is indestructible. Whenever you dredge a card, shuffle the bottom card of your graveyard into your library. 2/2
Bonus 5/5 Nice picture Balance 4/10 At a CMC of 4, an indestructible 2/2 with any ability is too cheap. And you gave it dredge 5! And a way to get it into your graveyard easily from play! The final ability seems slightly redundant in this setting, but the creature does seem to be two different creatures combined into one (one in a sole dredge deck and one in a deck where the “counter” dredge ability would be useful) because in a dredge deck, you when are you going to keep this guy in play? You play it, then transfigure for another useful creature, putting this one in the graveyard where you can dredge, and start again… FCQ 7/10 Flavour: As I said, this feels like two different creatures stuck together. I like the idea of him “allowing” souls in (dredge) and out (from graveyard to library) of the “gate” (graveyard) – I assume heaven or hell – but transfigure doesn’t really seem to fit into the overall picture Creativity: The last counter-dredge ability is new and the combination is new, but it all seems a little “oh, let’s give it another good ability” Quality: Illustration is not PolarBearGod…that is just where you found the artwork. This should just be Unknown. Also, fill in your copyright line! However, neither of these errors deserves point loss in this section
TOTAL: 16/25
Evincar's Assassin3BBB Creature - Human Assassin (R) When Evincar's Assasin comes into play, destroy target nonblack creature. It can't be regenerated. BB, T, Sacrifice Evincar's Assasin: Target player discards a card from their hand. Delve, Dredge 4 The evincar taught him only one thing, destruction. 3/3
Bonus 4/5 Take a long, HARD, look at the man in this picture…then ask yourself if it is suitable for a Magic card. I’m thinking not. Also, colours seem a little Rakdos, rather than mono black. And when was the last time you saw an assassin wearing metal armour? Balance 6/10 3/3 straight away is too much with those abilities. The delve and dredge abilities work well against each other, you can pay full cost to keep everything in your graveyard or remove them to make him cheaper. A very expensive way to terror something so you wouldn’t use it purely for that, and a very expensive way to mind peel… but together it justifies the minimum of BBB you would have to pay for him. FCQ 7/10 Flavour: Too high power/toughness for an assassin (unless he is a zombie). He also seems like a bit of a lame assassin if he has to die if he wants to kill more than one creature… maybe the sacrifice ability should destroy a second creature rather than forcing a discard…it would seem more in character. Creativity: Nothing really new here. The abilities are nicely put together (especially the dredge/delve combination) Quality: No power/toughness given in text card.
TOTAL: 17/25
Shape of Many U Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature you control Aura SwapUU (UU: Exchange this Aura with an Aura card in your hand.) Forecast —3UU, Reveal Shape of Many from your hand: Put a token into play that's a copy target Aura. You may choose new targets for the copy. (Play this ability only during your upkeep and only once each turn.) A word is worth a thousand pictures.
Bonus 5/5 All is Well Balance 6/10 Even if the aura doesn’t do anything, it still costs too little. Either the Aura needs to cost more or the Aura swap ability does. Sticking to a blue-theme, imagine playing Followed Footsteps for UUU. On top of that the forecast ability would cause huge hassle trying to keep track of all the different enchantment tokens… The forecast ability is pretty much balanced, although difficult to maintain, but the aura itself needs to cost more to cast bearing in mind that you would only be playing it to cheaply cast or play uncounterably an aura in your hand. FCQ 8/10 Flavour: I like the picture and the flavour text and abilities all seem to mesh well. Overall the flavour is sound. Creativity: Not really creative, more just powerful. But interesting nonetheless. Quality: “that’s a copy of target Aura” Extra: Again, I like the fact that you have kept the card relatively simple. It seems fitting somehow.
TOTAL: 19/25
Traitorous Informant 2U Echo - Draw two cards (At the beginning of your upkeep, if this came under your control since the beginning of your last upkeep, sacrifice it unless you pay its echo cost.) When Traitorous Informant's echo cost is paid, target opponent gains control of Traitorous Informant. Both sides knew they weren't her only client, but the information she gave was too valuable to have her executed. 1/1
Bonus 5/5 OK. Balance 6/10 A bit of a cheap way to draw two cards, from a creature. Especially if you have a way to bounce her, or stop your opponents from drawing. There are too many ways to prevent your opponent from gaining the “drawback” FCQ 8/10 Flavour: I love the concept of this card. It is brilliant how she keeps switching sides – and seems completely in flavour. Flavour text is not needed, but helps nonetheless. Creativity: Fantastically creative way of adapting such a simple idea. I love it. Quality: Everything in its place.
TOTAL: 21/25
Interrupt Instant Morph 0 Interrupt is blue. When Interrupt is turned face up, Put it on the stack. Counter target spell you control and target spell you don't don't control if you control an island.
Nothing beats Something hands down every time.
Bonus 4.5/5 This picture is a bit of a stretch on “interrupting” the light – it’s more like altering the light. Balance 6/10 Ignoring the fact that the card’s wording wouldn’t actually work (see Quality) the card would only be useful in a war of the counterspells. It cannot target itself, so the only time you would actually use it is if someone has countered one of your counterspells as well as another spell. Because it would then target your own counterspell and your opponent’s that targets the spell. The second counterspell your opponent played would fizzle as it has no target and the spell would counter the first– and so it would only see a lot of play in legacy (as not many players have enough mana in type 2 to cast multiple counterspells without force of will) or if you wanted to get your storm count up. All in all, a rather useful spell (as you play it early on in the game and have it sitting there waiting to be a free counterspell later on) but very situational. FCQ 5/10 Flavour: Don’t like the flavour text – it seems like you have added it just because you are expected to. Plus, there used to be a card type of Interrupt, so could cause confusion. Plus, as mentioned before (and so no points deducted) the picture doesn’t really embody the ability. Creativity: I love the idea of a morphing counterspell. Wizards are always looking for new ways of making a free counterspell and I think you have found one of the best! Quality: To save questions, I will directly quote here… But the points were deducted here and the balance is based on how it would work, rather than judging the card on what it actually does.
Quote from Woapalanne »
"When is turned face up" is a trigger - and the instant in play will be put into the graveyard before the trigger resolves.
It should be "As NAME is turned face up", like Vesuvan Shapeshifter. However, if R&D were to come up with such a thing, they'd combine that clause into a new keyword like "spellmorph" or "aethermorph" anyway.
plus, the copyright line was not filled in. No points deducted for this.
TOTAL: 15.5/25
Testament of Rings1G Tribal Enchantment - Spellshaper (U) G, T, Discard a card: Put a green enchantment token named Ward of the Real into play with "At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player sacrifices an artifact or enchantment." The invasion's screams are etched forever.
Bonus 5/5 Everything in place Balance 7/10 Causes card disadvantage. Straight away a bad thing. Plus the ability to cause an opponent to sacrifice an artifact or enchantment. It’s good as an untargeted naturalize but still takes a lot of mana for that first one. Even after that, the cost of a card and G is still a little steep. Although the abilities can stack and then you can sacrifice them all when it gets to your turn, forcing your opponent to sacrifice multiple artifacts at once. FCQ 7/10 Flavour: The tribal feel isn’t great, but it is there. Plus, it has the spellshaper ability. Not sure about the flavour text, I assume it and the name have some link to the storyline? I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt until/unless I hear otherwise Creativity: Nice inventive way of using the new tribal enchantment supertype. Other than that – a bit cobbled together from other abilities Quality: No Problems here.
TOTAL: 19/25
Morbid March 3BBB Sorcery Put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token into play. You lose 1 life. Gravestorm "Each shriek, each step, each soldier as relentless and terrible as the last. Horror has overtaken us. Death has won the day." -Neroc Ortelm, final journal entry Artist unknown
Bonus 5/5 Looks good Balance 7/10 For that many vanilla zombies – you wouldn’t want to be losing a life for each one, plus the card itself is a sorcery and so can’t be a surprise block and costs a lot more than I would be wanting to pay. Even if you have just set yourself up for it and so have prepared etc. it’s still a lot considering they are only 2/2 nothings. Swampwalk would have made it more worthwhile… as the easiest way to do this well is to damnation first, but that is a huge mana commitment in one turn. FCQ 6.5/10 Flavour: I love the flavour of this card. It seems all around right and fitting. The picture, text and abilities all mesh well and I like it. Creativity: Although just a variation on Empty the Warrensthe card does have some creative flare. Quality: No Quality issues. No copyright line though. Grrr. No points deducted for this.

Balance 8/10
I’m glad you upped the cost for the transfigure ability from Fleshwrither – bearing in mind that the creatures that you play using this are uncounterable, and it also means you can search for exactly what you want all the time. Cost could have been increased to 1BBB for the enchantment, but overall it seems relatively well balanced
FCQ 5/10
Flavour:
Where is the flavour text? There is loads of space for it seeings that at rare, the reminder text is not necessary. This card is really lacking something to make you go “oh yeah!”
Creativity:
There is none. The card takes an ability (defined by the round requirements nonetheless) and makes it global to creatures you control. Plus, the name is just the ability. That would be like designing an enchantment called “Flying” which gives all creatures you control Flying…
Quality:
No problems, except Transfigure should not be capitalised.
Extra:
I do like the fact that you have kept your card simple (ability wise, not flavour wise). I likes it better when it was an uncommon aura for just one creature, but hey – this is the one you submitted… But I like that you didn’t get confused and try to make a complicated enchantment.

Once plagued with misfortune, the misfortunate return to plague the mortals who did them in.
Bonus 5/5
Zombie army…looks good.
Balance 7/10
At first glance I thought “Oh my God, what made him think this was OK?!” but you either have just set off a damnation (and committed heavily on mana) or have sacrificed a load of permanents to make it worth your while at that cost, so you would be expecting to either win the game, or be several steps closer to it!
FCQ 6.5/10
Flavour:
I get where you were coming from, but firstly I don’t like “done them in” it sounds a bit un- to me, tacky and cliché. Secondly, why is it a death torrent? Surely undeath torrent would be more suitable… It doesn’t cause death, it feeds off it.
Creativity:
I’m hoping that Wizards haven’t seriously considered Zombify with a storm-ability so creative in that sense…but further than that, not particularly creative.
Quality:
No problems other than “the misfortunates return” in the flavour text
TOTAL: 18.5/25
Sayisha, Master of Disguise 2BB
Legendary Creature - Human Assassin (R)
First Strike
Transfigure 1BB
Whenever you transfigure Sayisha, the next creature that comes into play this turn gets "3BB, Sacrifice this creature: Return Sayisha to its owner's hand."
2/2
Bonus 5/5
I LOVE the picture
Balance 8/10
Transfigure seems good on this creature. Legendary seems a little unnecessary (further than flavour reasons) although does help somewhat in balancing the card. The creature that she transfigures into can be sacrificed to bring her back…seems fair, if slightly over costed.
FCQ 9.5/10
Flavour:
I love the disguise idea. It seems very fitting with the combination of abilities. No flavour text, but the lack of space discouraged it and the flavour of the card stands without it!
Creativity:
The two main abilities fit perfectly together. First strike does seem a little tagged on, but wits with the assassin idea.
Quality:
“Return Sayisha from your graveyard to your hand”
TOTAL: 22.5/25

Transfigure 1BB
Dredge 5
Soul's Gatekeeper is indestructible.
Whenever you dredge a card, shuffle the bottom card of your graveyard into your library.
2/2
Bonus 5/5
Nice picture
Balance 4/10
At a CMC of 4, an indestructible 2/2 with any ability is too cheap. You play it, then transfigure for another useful creature, putting this one in the graveyard where you can dredge, and start again…
FCQ 7/10
Flavour:
As I said, this feels like two different creatures stuck together. I like the idea of him “allowing” souls in (dredge) and out (from graveyard to library) of the “gate” (graveyard) – I assume heaven or hell – but transfigure doesn’t really seem to fit into the overall picture
Creativity:
The last counter-dredge ability is new and the combination is new, but it all seems a little “oh, let’s give it another good ability”
Quality:
Illustration is not PolarBearGod…that is just where you found the artwork. This should just be Unknown. Also, fill in your copyright line! However, neither of these errors deserves point loss in this section

BB, T, Sacrifice Evincar's Assasin: Target player discards a card from their hand.
Delve, Dredge 4
The evincar taught him only one thing, destruction.
3/3
Bonus 4/5
Take a long, HARD, look at the man in this picture…then ask yourself if it is suitable for a Magic card. I’m thinking not. Also, colours seem a little Rakdos, rather than mono black. And when was the last time you saw an assassin wearing metal armour?
Balance 6/10
3/3 straight away is too much with those abilities.
FCQ 7/10
Flavour:
Too high power/toughness for an assassin (unless he is a zombie). He also seems like a bit of a lame assassin if he has to die if he wants to kill more than one creature… maybe the sacrifice ability should destroy a second creature rather than forcing a discard…it would seem more in character.
Creativity:
Nothing really new here. The abilities are nicely put together (especially the dredge/delve combination)
Quality:
No power/toughness given in text card.

Forecast —3UU, Reveal Shape of Many from your hand: Put a token into play that's a copy target Aura. You may choose new targets for the copy. (Play this ability only during your upkeep and only once each turn.)
A word is worth a thousand pictures.
Bonus 5/5
All is Well
Balance 6/10
Even if the aura doesn’t do anything, it still costs too little.
FCQ 8/10
Flavour:
I like the picture and the flavour text and abilities all seem to mesh well. Overall the flavour is sound.
Creativity:
Not really creative, more just powerful. But interesting nonetheless.
Quality:
“that’s a copy of target Aura”
Extra:
Again, I like the fact that you have kept the card relatively simple. It seems fitting somehow.

Balance 6/10
A bit of a cheap way to draw two cards, from a creature. Especially if you have a way to bounce her, or stop your opponents from drawing. There are too many ways to prevent your opponent from gaining the “drawback”
FCQ 8/10
Flavour:
I love the concept of this card. It is brilliant how she keeps switching sides – and seems completely in flavour. Flavour text is not needed, but helps nonetheless.
Creativity:
Fantastically creative way of adapting such a simple idea. I love it.
Quality:
Everything in its place.

Morph 0
Interrupt is blue.
When Interrupt is turned face up, Put it on the stack.
Counter target spell you control and target spell you don't don't control if you control an island.
Nothing beats Something hands down every time.
Bonus 4.5/5
This picture is a bit of a stretch on “interrupting” the light – it’s more like altering the light.
Balance 6/10
Ignoring the fact that the card’s wording wouldn’t actually work (see Quality) the card would only be useful in a war of the counterspells.
FCQ 5/10
Flavour:
Don’t like the flavour text – it seems like you have added it just because you are expected to. Plus, there used to be a card type of Interrupt, so could cause confusion. Plus, as mentioned before (and so no points deducted) the picture doesn’t really embody the ability.
Creativity:
I love the idea of a morphing counterspell. Wizards are always looking for new ways of making a free counterspell and I think you have found one of the best!
Quality:
To save questions, I will directly quote here… But the points were deducted here and the balance is based on how it would work, rather than judging the card on what it actually does.
plus, the copyright line was not filled in. No points deducted for this.

Tribal Enchantment - Spellshaper (U)
G, T, Discard a card: Put a green enchantment token named Ward of the Real into play with "At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player sacrifices an artifact or enchantment."
The invasion's screams are etched forever.
Bonus 5/5
Everything in place
Balance 7/10
Causes card disadvantage.
FCQ 7/10
Flavour:
The tribal feel isn’t great, but it is there. Plus, it has the spellshaper ability. Not sure about the flavour text, I assume it and the name have some link to the storyline? I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt until/unless I hear otherwise
Creativity:
Nice inventive way of using the new tribal enchantment supertype. Other than that – a bit cobbled together from other abilities
Quality:
No Problems here.

Bonus 5/5
Looks good
Balance 7/10
For that many vanilla zombies – you wouldn’t want to be losing a life for each one, plus the card itself is a sorcery and so can’t be a surprise block and costs a lot more than I would be wanting to pay. Even if you have just set yourself up for it and so have prepared etc. it’s still a lot considering they are only 2/2 nothings. Swampwalk would have made it more worthwhile… as the easiest way to do this well is to damnation first, but that is a huge mana commitment in one turn.
FCQ 6.5/10
Flavour:
I love the flavour of this card. It seems all around right and fitting. The picture, text and abilities all mesh well and I like it.
Creativity:
Although just a variation on Empty the Warrens the card does have some creative flare.
