I can see the Merfolk art from the Inquest cover a while ago. Some elves, too. And that one Kithkin... and a basic Mountain art. I don't think there's anything new in that picture.
i can't make anything out of that. then again my eyes aren't good for that sort of thing. i hope a member of the 'mill will be able to get us a better pic
While I would love to see a better picture from someone there with a camera... we have already seen most of these pictures (Top center on Inquest's cover, bottom left is a mountain art already revealed, bottom center is on the Lorwyn 'tips and tricks' card from X (well the lorwyn promo card back from the tips and tricks cards), bottom bottem center looks familiar too, and most of the rest are sketches.)

I really wish we had a broader picture. Its almost like Wizards said, "you can take a picture of the top half to show off the room, but not the bottom of the sign."
Has anyone else been there to report on whats on the sign?

Why did I ever think a signature in comic sans was a good idea?

who cares what they say, its not like the can stop you from taking pictures, only asking politely not to
it is a "public" convention as it were so whatever it is the cats out fo the bag figuratively speaking
I think WOTC is more concerned in showing off how "big" the whole Con is, as opposed to their booth. I am pretty sure WOTC is the main sponsor of the con, in fact they may as well call it WOTCCon really... which is why I'm always shocked that MTG isn't a bigger focus from year to year. They always seem to spin for the new game of the year like Dreamblade, Axis N Allies, and Hecatomb.
Here is an update to the blog...
Just a mural from the con, and likely the only other piece of art other than the wall they have there, just speaking from experience.
That's because they don't HAVE to spin MTG. The fan/customer base is already out there, and they'll come around the following month to buy like they always do. They need to pimp the new stuff so that it sells...they're always looking for the next MTG and AD&D.
Well they don't HAVE to spin D&D either, but there is a heavy presence of that every year I'm there. Of course, it's more iconic really, and the vast majority of attendees are there to board game and role play.
It's both iconic and an ever-expanding source of spin-off material (novels, miniature game, etc etc, pick your gaming "flavour of the month" and plaster D&D all over it...it'll sell with the geeks!!) [note: geek not meant as a slur...lol...afterall...who's the one posting on an MTG message board? ].

I think they might have been referring to the "wall" featuring what looks to be a smattering of the "new tribes." Wish I was there because we would have had some close pics of it, but from the looks, it's all stuff we already have outside of the style guide sketches, much like last year's TS wall.
I have a few pics of the wall I'll try to upload in a bit, but they're not great. They were running demos right in front of the wall so you couldn't get very close.
I also got some pics of the new Ultra Pro Lorwyn deck boxes and binders that are coming out.
thx a lot shade. to bad you couldn't get closer to the wall to get pics of those artworks on the bottom. i think we've seen most of those but its still exciting.

Geez, i guess there is now a confirmation of non-existence of Minotaurs on Lorwyn, but "Bisons" (look at the 4th pic on the Post #19 of shade, at the very bottom, there it is, a...Bison...still waiting for more Minotaurs!)
Lorwyn is about to rock!

It looks a bit like an Aurochs, too, but I'd guess Aurochs only live in cold climates. The winged antelope or deer in the bottom left corner of the fourth image is interesting. Perhaps it's a pegasus?

Look for the "Lorwyn in the foreground" caption.
I hope someone can bring a full photo of the wall.
Edit: attached small crop of the art

Then there's a land, some dudes frolicking in a field finishing up the row.
Bottom right has Wolverine being tentacle attacked.
I like where this set is headed.
