good cards to combo with the blowfly are Grief Tyrant + Fate transfer (you get a bomb and you destroy theirs, and Everlasting Torment...why run poor creatures with withing when you can just use shock? also puncture bolt. All in all i did have an ok wiher based deck (had only 2 blowfly infestation) that could probably more modified. key cards like Midnight Banshee and Kulrath Knight.
And as for the card i would design ofcourse with a bit of narcicism i would have myself become a card.
This card was origionaly designed by my gaming group to represent me. the idea came from me usualy having the exact card to save me from things more often than not, or miseing like a champ.
oh and as for the mythic rares if they dont really affect how often you pull one...then what's the point of the new rarity? if it theoriticly any more rare then why a new name/symbol?
as a sidenote look at the awesomeness that this post made to my post count...Oh Yea...
I would just like to state for the record that I am not MTG Girl. *facepalm* (OK, it was really funny.)
I'm happy about the pre-release changes, I might actually attend one. My only option now is to head over to Seattle, which is a 70+ minute drive (over a toll bridge), or an hour ferry ride (which includes about 20 minutes drive to the ferry and then however long it would take to get to the venue on the other side). Neither option is convenient or cheap, especially with the current price of gas. I'd rather spend that money on cards.

Everlasting Torment is largely for Flourishing Defenses, basically resulting in whenever your opponent attacks and you block, you get a bunch of tokens (and also whenever you attack and your opponent blocks).
Great podcast guys, I LOL'd when the voicemail about someones deck being torched was told (Mainly because I didnt think ppl who hated counters would go that far.
As for MTG girl that was indeed an amazing voicemail, the only thing better would have been the inclusion of the innuendo involving rod of ruin.
My card of choice would have to be this :
As for Toms deck, a friend of mine is building a deck like this as well, here are some suggestions I gave him:
Kulrath Knight - Locks down the board with one blowfly out and some -1/-1 cards.
Midnight Banshee - Devastating on any field that runs low toughness creatures, even more so with kulrath knight out.
Incremental Blight - Nukes 2-3 or potentially ore with a blowfly out, allowing for the elimination of 4/4 or even 5/5 fatties.
Gnarled effigy - This is a really slow card, but I remember that you enjoy effigy's, so this seems like it would be cool to try.
The rest of the cards I have suggested you probably already run. Good luck with this, it sounds like a really fun deck.
I take my bra off to MTG Girl(Yes...I'm a girl). Great message.

All I love about white...only retardly broken and more fun.
Soooo Alot of people with the blowfly deck went the GB Route Which is fine and all but i thought about another possibility
BUR????
Graven Cairns+Sunken Ruins+Reflecting pool = pretty good fixers!
Ummmm i ended up adding a few creatures who have potential of being pretty considerable finishers for a lost cost as well as good synergy with the knight!
I added a fate transfer 1 single one:P just for the sneaky hey look big creature cant attack or block now trick hehe!
I thought about everlasting torment like a few suggested but in the end! your creatures sucks if they get counters on them!
I added Oona cause shes sick Pretty much! umm Punctured bolt is pretty strong against bombs that you would otherwise not be able to kill. I mean look for yourself let me know what you guys think Tom Email me if you wanna know more about my decisions! Also im getting into t1 soo if you wanna trade some of your techy stuff away to me for some block stuff i'd be more then happy to!
Invitational card... I'd go with something like this:

I've been rocking the MTGO's casual room with this blowfly deck, but it has difficulty with tier 2 decks. Reveillark mops this deck, but it does well against Merfolk and Faeries. Mirrorweave is just too fast with the right curve. Fun deck to play; annoying to play against (but not anti-social).
The mana base is a little funny because these are the cards in my collection, I'm bad with sideboards so its questionable also.
Flourishing Defenses combos well with Persist and also Blowfly Infestation. Devoted Druid rocks, making it possible to cast 5 mana spells on turn 3, also as an activator for Blowfly. Scarscale Ritual can also set off explosive chains, combo with Dusk Urchins for mucho cards. Incremental Blight loves everything from the Urchins to Grim Poppet, from Flourishing to Blowfly. Not to toot my own horn; there's a lot of synergy with this deck.
Great show, once again. I loved that one voice mail; I played it for my friends and they laughed so hard.
I've been playtesting a Blowfly Infestation deck I build last monday.
It needs one of the new cards from Eventide, when it comes out, but Warren Weirding can go in its place right now.
There is many tricks that this deck can pull off, and it is very fun to play

All the other decks played mountains of x/1s that HAVE to die after your opponent runs out of creatures since blowfly deosn't read "may". This version doesn't have such problems.

Draw 3 cards, then put 2 cards from your hand on the bottom of your library.
<3 this thing, worse than brainstorm but not by much
Also you have to worry about Kulrath Knight turning off your creatures. This version doesn't have such problems.

Ummm ... that's busted. Much better than Brainstorm.
In lots of situations this card is strictly better than brainstorm, and in other situations this card is strictly worse i.e.:
Worse: Trying to make use of Counterbalance OR in storm based builds, since you want to set up the top of your deck like brainstorm can.
Better: you have 5+ land in play and 2 lands/dead cards in hand, in which case it is basically A.Recall
I think this card is on par with Brainstorm, which is a fair card in my mind. I can think of many situations in which I would want one and not the other.

Dark Confidant crossed with Scrying Sheets, in the right color for a change. Yes.
I've been playtesting a Blowfly Infestation deck I build last monday.
It needs one of the new cards from Eventide, when it comes out, but Warren Weirding can go in its place right now.
4 Ashenmoor Gouger
4 Kulrath Knight
3 Lurebound Scarecrow
2 Oona's Prowler

3 Shriekmaw
3 Incremental Blight
4 Scar
3 Scarscale Ritual
4 Unmake
3 Blowfly Infestation
Lands:
3 Leechridden Swamp
20 Swamp
The deck works by using Blowfly Infestation + Scar/Incremental Blight to dish out -1/-1 counters. Kulrath Knight is great for when the -1/-1 counters don't kill the creature. Also, if there is a big fatty in play, Blowfly Infestation is can drop a -1/-1 counter on it which the Knight will make unable to attack or block.
Ashenmoor Gouger, Oona's Prowler, and Lurebound Scarecrow are beatsticks.
Scuttlemutt is mana accel, and works to change the color of some creatures so they can block Chameleon Clossus.
There is many tricks that this deck can pull off, and it is very fun to play
