Welcome to The DCC! One more day and I go back to work. ._.
How does this card-making game work? It's simple! Whenever your card receives a vote in the days poll, you receive one point for the month. If your card ends up with the most votes for that day, you will receive two additional points for the month. In the event of a tie, each person who tied receives one additional point. At the end of each month, the person with the most points on the scoreboard wins that month, then the scoreboard is cleared for the next month. You can play in as many or as few days as you want in any month.
Here are the rules for entering:
1. Each day you may post any card you want. On the next day all of the posted cards will be put into a poll as long as you voted.
2. Your card will not be added to the next day's poll unless you also vote in the current poll for that day. If you vote for yourself, it will not count and your card will not be put in the next day's poll.
3. Any cards or user names with obscene language in them will have all offending words edited to a different ones when I make the thread for the day.
4. If you wish to post a render, please use the hyperlink option when posting your card and make the card-name the image link. Renders are usually large enough to clog up the list, so submit a text-formed card and (optionally) a link in the name to the render.
Celebration of Life1G
Enchantment
You may not play mana abilities of lands.
At the beginning of your upkeep, for each creature you control add one mana of any of that creatures colors to your mana pool. This mana doesn't cause mana burn. Until end of turn, this mana doesn't empty from your mana pool as phases end. "We are the living heritage of the land, one interconnected circle without end."
Walking Outpost1G
Creature - Treefolk Warrior
Discard a card: Walking Outpost becomes a Tribal Land - Treefolk Forest or a 2/2 green Treefolk Warrior. Play this ability only once a turn. (This effect doesn't end at end of turn.) Terag had heard the stomping from behind, but only saw the trees swaying in the wind. The next moment, what remained of Terag swayed in the wind. 2/2
Planar UnityWWW
Enchantment
Tribal spells cost more to play. "We must do away with the racial boundaries that led our forefathers down the path of destruction they once walked!"
Groundseal Spider3GG
Creature - Spider
Whenever Groundseal Spider deals damage to a creature, destroy that creature.
Cycling 2G
When you cycle Groundseal Spider, target player shuffles any number of target cards from his or her graveyard into his or her library.
4/5
Lich Commander 3BB
Creature - Zombie Warrior
Whenever a player draws a card, that player loses 1 life and puts a 1/1 black Skeleton with fear into play under his or her control. "You found the body?" "Yes, master." "Where is it?" "You're talking to it, master."
3/3
Forced EvolutionG
Enchantment
Creatures get +1/+1. "Over time, even the most foolish of creatures learn a thing or two. Take Squee for instance." -Barrin, Master Wizard
Stabling Mourner BB
Creature - Nightstalker
Deathtouch BB, Remove two creature cards in a graveyard from the game: Return Stabling Mourner from your graveyard to play. Play this ability only if there are at least five creature cards in all graveyards.
2/2
Demoniacal Shrine :symb::symb:
Enchantment [R]
:1mana::symb::symb:, :symtap:: Destroy target permanent with a counter on it. "Weak should die. Strong should die. Only we deserve to live." - Ancient Prophet
Midnight Paradise Land
At the beginning of your upkeep, pay 1 or sacrifice ~. T: Add two mana of any color to your mana pool. Taking care of such paradise during the day is a bore. Taking care of such paradise during the night is a chore.
Laria, Hand of the MuseUR
Legendary Creature-Spirit
Shroud
You cannot discard cards. Hellbent—Whenever you have no cards in hand, draw a card. As the muse was the inspiration for the masses, so she was the inspiration of the muse.
0/3
Lifefield BarrierWW
Enchantment
As Lifefield Barrier comes into play, note your life total, then you gain 20 life.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you lose 4 life. If this would reduce your life total to less than the noted total, it reduces it to the noted total instead.
When your life total is the noted life total, sacrifice Lifefield Barrier.
When Lifefield Barrier leaves play, your life total becomes the noted life total.
Infectious Panic 1RR
Enchantment--Aura
Enchant creature
As long as enchanted creature is untapped, it and other creatures its controller controls can't block.
Whenever enchanted creature attacks, each attacking creature deals 1 damage to its controller. I think he said we were all doomed! And something about a purple monkey dishwasher!
Gallian of Light and FireWWRR
Legendary Creature- Human Cleric Warrior
First strike, vigilance WR,t: ~ deals 3 damage to target creature or player and you gain 3 life. "Hurt'em or heal'em, makes no difference to me. Why not both?"
3/2
Gilt-Leaf Sentry3G
Creature - Elf Warrior
Whenever Gilt-Leaf Sentry deals combat damage to a player, you may pay 1B. If you do, that player discards a card. 1:symbg:: Regenerate Gilt-Leaf Sentry.
3/2
[edit]Laria doesn't work as written. The Hellbent ability doesn't make sense. It should, imho, say:
Hellbent - As long as you have no cards in hand, ~ gains ":0mana:: If you have no cards in your hand, draw a card."
This way, you get the option of drawing a card for free, but you can't stack seven at once to refill your hand, but you can still get a card draw every time you empty your hand. Also, it makes room for more limitations (once per turn, your turn only, life loss, etc.)
Primeval Soulsneak G
Creature - Spirit
Inhabit 1G(1G: Remove this from the game inhabiting target creature. When that creature is put into a graveyard from play, return this to play. Inhabit only as a sorcery.)
Inhabited creature can’t be the target of spells or abilities its controller controls.
1/1
Edit: The wording of this card has been Judge-sanctioned to be ok! Fateweaver's Helix1
Artifact
Imprint—When Fateweaver’s Helix comes into play, you may remove a card in your hand from the game imprinting Fateweaver’s Helix.
As Fateweaver’s Helix comes into play, name a card with the same converted mana cost as the imprinted card. The named card is a copy of the imprinted card.
I'm going to check with a judge on the hellbent thing.
Render:
Your trigger timings are off.
You don't imprint a card until the card comes into play, yet the second ability requires an imprinted card as the card is coming into play, well before the imprint trigger.
If you change the second one to trigger as a card is imprinted, then it would work. I think.
Midway Glen
Land T: Add 1 to your mana pool. 1: Midway Glen becomes a 1/1 blue and black Faerie creature with flying until end of turn.
As long as Midway Glen is a Faerie, it is an Island and a Swamp in addition to its other land types. Safe havens for the fae are best placed halfway to the destination and with enough tricks to ward off any predators.
Ill-Fated Divination 1(U/B)
Instant
Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a card with the same converted mana cost as target spell. Counter that spell and you lose one life for each card revealed this way. Shuffle the revealed cards back into you library.
Kalakmul, the Jungle Temple
Legendary Land T: Add 1 to your mana pool. Q: Kalakmul becomes a 3/2 green Avatar Beast creature until end of turn. It’s still a legendary land. Use this ability only once a turn, and only if you control a Forest. We know to whom we owe life. To whom we owe birth, to whom we owe to grow, and how to invoke their wrath.
Specter's Claw
Tribal Enchantment - Specter
When ~ comes into play, look at target player hand.
Sacrifice ~: Look at target player's hand and choose a non-land, non-instant card. That player discard it. "Ooh this is too dangerous!"
"Yes indeed.."
"Let's take it from him."
Not trying to be mean here, but some really really broken stuff today. A 2 mana shut-down card for anything not creature based in lostandthedamned's card? 2/2 Deathtouch for 2 that can then come back for 2 and some largely unimportant outside forces (can eat up opponent's graveyard, so he's doubly good, and come back for his CC?)? A 2 all-color mana no-CITP land whose only disadvantage is if you drop it first turn you have to eat 1 mana burn to have it pay for itself? Went with orgolove because I liked the card, but more balance sure would be nice.
Hot Engine 1
Artifact
:symtap:: Untap target artifact you control. ~ and that artifact do not untap during your next untap phase. Short term gain, long term damage.
Rath's StormR
Instant
Rath's Storm deals 3 damage to target creature or 1 damage to target player. You may be lucky to get away with a minor burn, but I can't say the same for that poor beast. -- Sisay
Nope, it only applys to the person who played it. Sure you could donate it, but that comment applys to so many printed cards.
If it was a lock down card then it would read - PLAYERS cannot tap lands for mana. and would cost about 6-8 mana...
As it is, it's a johnny card.
Yeah.. I did not vote for it because it seemed like to big a risk. One Damnation and you lose.
Someone shoudl tell krey, he put this card in the wrong place:
Illusion of Dragon2UU Enchant Creature Enchanted creature becomes a 5/5 Dragon with flying. Whenever this creature blocks or is blocked by another creature destroy this enchantment at the end of turn. “The mages on Pharos Island were so skilled in their illusions that it was hard to separate reality from tricks”
Splatterbug B
Creature--Zombie Insect
1/1
Whenever Splatterbug attacks, all creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn. BB: Splatterbug gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
Pinprick Sprite1UB
Creature - Faerie Rogue
When Pinprick Sprite deals damage to a player, you may gain control of a creature that player controls. If you do, sacrifice Pinprick Sprite.
1/1
Edit: I've been seeing this a lot, so I'm just going to make a general announcement:
PLEASE check to make sure you are posting your card on the correct thread for the day and not yesterday's thread. Thank you.

Tactical Slavery2
Enchantment-Aura
Enchant creature you control
As you play ~, target opponent gains control of enchanted creature.
Enchanted creature gains "At the beginning of your upkeep, tap this creature. It deals damage equal to it's power to it's controller." "Just because you control me doesn't mean your in control. . ."
Because I spent almost 45 minutes tweaking this, I'll use it here.
@ MeatballWarrior: You have to change the wording on yours a bit. As is, it never stays on the creature because it can only enchant a creature you control, but it gives control to an opponent. Use wording like Dream Leash uses. "Play this only on a creature you control. Enchant creature" That way it works as intended.
Mouth of OblivionBW
Legendary Enchantment
Mouth of Oblivion comes into play with 3 barrier counters on it.
Any player may play activated abilities of Mouth of Oblivion. 1: Remove a barrier counter from Mouth of Oblivion. This ability costs 1 more to play for each barrier counter on Mouth of Oblivion. 6: Put a barrier counter on Mouth of Oblivion. This ability costs 1 less to play for each barrier counter on Mouth of Oblivion. If this would reduce the cost to less than 1, it costs 1 instead.
When Mouth of Oblivion has no barrier counters on it, remove it from the game. If you do, remove all permanents from the game. When strengthened, the barrier is simple to maintain. When weakened, armageddon is almost impossible to contain.
