If you blame luck on all of your failures, you're never going to get better...
This deck has many win conditions:
Attacking with many tokens or fat creatures like GG
Sacrificing tons of creatures to Goblin Bombardment
Dealing tons of extra damage with Hissing Iguanar
Shriekmaw and Ignot Chewer are useful abilities and give you FIVE thrulls off Master Endrek when they're evoked for 1B or R. Thinking of an ideal draw would be something like this:
T1 land, suspend GG
T2 land, Goblin Bombardment
T3 land, Ritual, Endrek
T4 land, Hissing Iguanar, get 3 thrulls, sacrifice to GG, evoke Chewer, sacrifice to GG, get 5 Thrulls. Sacrifice three thrulls to GG, two to Bombardment, unsuspend GG, Endrek triggers for 10, sacrifice Endrek to GB. At this point, you have dealt 12 damage to your opponent, have a 9/10 haste creature, have Iguanar and 10 thrull tokens to sacrifice to Bombardment. Possible total damage if they can't block (which usually they won't unless they have a shrouded creature or indestructible) -23 (i.e. 43 damage on turn 4).
I'm disappointed that there are no combat tricks since there is no damage on the stack. It definently changes the function of certain cards, Mogg Fanatic comes to mind.
In the Web of War makes the tokens immediately vicious and paired with Pandemonium, it is a whole lot of win. GG is there to keep the token population under control and be the big finish.

I am looking for Date Stamped promos from Khans of Tarkir block so I can finish my set. Check my wants if you have any.
Currently offering 2 non-foil Kolighan's Command for a Date Stamped foil!
I was really tempted to use Blood Funnel, but I'll let someone else try that. This deck works by naming Saprolings with Conspiracy, thus ignoring Endrik's second ability and allowing the tokens to be sacrificed to Deathspore Thallid. The rest of the creatures are either cheap with a high mana cost, or in the case of Phyrexian Soulgorger, really cool to be able to use. Add Altar of Dementia for milling fun!
This deck is again for casual play; something to do with those old cards (Ritual and Badlands) when you haven't got tournaments to prepare for. The idea is to play big creatures such as the dragon and Tar Fiend, then devour the tokens produced by Endrek. I think this works because the big creature is still waiting to resolve while the "When you play a creature spell" ability triggers, much like Demigod of Revenge, so the tokens can be eaten (if not this deck failed ). Mirror Gallery is just there for a win-more number of tokens to devour.
Aggro/Control game plan, use your grave pact and sac effects to control the board and discard effects to strip their hand, then accelerate into an Ebon Praetor or Desecration Elemental or resurrect them with Soul Exchange, and then feed them Thrulls until they win you the game. Alternatively, make a whole bunch of thrulls and pump them with Thrull Champion until they win you the game. Saccing thrulls at appropriate junctures should let you keep Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder around as well to make more valued subordinates (aka. Praetor fodder).
Thanks a lot for the cast guys, sounds like you had a fantastic time in Memphis when should we expect to hear interviews, you've got a fantastic selection of magic personalities to listen to! Also, is monday night magic taking a break for christmas? have a great holiday season either way tom and gavin

I imagine Maro has a huge ancient book in his office titled "Tempo Defined" and inside it is hollowed out and there is a bottle of whiskey
This looks like it would be a really fun deck to play, actually. It’s Legacy-legal as-is, but that’s only as a result of the Hierophants. I can’t really think of a good substitute for them that fills their role (which is to allow your Thrulls Saprolings to fuel big Verdeloth kickers, or to play some of the more expensive spells faster, or on the same turn as one another. This deck idea has totally made me start to rethink putting Endrek Sahr into my Kresh EDH deck. Also, Recross the Paths is really cool. It’s usually good for about 3-4 land, especially in this deck.
In other respects, good show, gents. I was really amused to hear about the Momir Basic IRL guy. I was really amused to hear about Richard Garfield’s deck, as well. What else would you expect from the inventor of the game, though? Good times…
Also, on a totally unrelated note, thanks, Gavin, for the article about BOO drafting. My friends & I are going to try to do one of those in a couple of weeks. (So far, I’ve got a Pirates & Vampires tribal theme in my cards. Plus, a Buffy planeswalker, because mise. :D) It should make winter break much less boring.

Apparently a DCI Rules Advisor
Also apparently a Fan of BtVS Season 8 (These things have no relation to one another; I just thought I’d say them.)
I really like the idea of the conpiracy, if you would run it with a creature that could come back to your hand, and you could keep recasting it, that could bea pretty brutal combo. Maybe arcanis the omnipotent , or Wydwen, the Biting Gale
The coolest interaction is Endrek Sahr with the Devour creatures Skullmulcher and Mycoloth. Sahr puts thrulls out when the creature card is played, so when the creature comes into play, there are fresh snacks waiting. For Skullmulcher you get an 8/8 and 5 card draw. For Mycoloth, you get a 14/14 with 10 saprolings each upkeep. The count on these key card may seem a bit low, but they all cost 5cc and they were messing the mana curve. Curiously, the solution was a card that nominally costs more: Chord of Calling. However, with token creatures the evoke cost is usually reasonable. Best part about the Chord is that it's an instant. Playing this during combat or end of opponent's turn can really swing the game.
Speaking of token creatures, Creakwood Liege is amazing, churning out 3/3 Wurms every turn and pumping up my evasion minded Nether Traitors (which are conveniently munchable and can still come back later in game).
Rhys the Redeemed fills multiple holes: I wanted another token generator, and the deck often doesn't do much at 3 mana slot except Putrefy; the 6cc ability can be insanely powerful. Rhys also powers Bloom Tender, which provides decent acceleration, and is of course munchable in mid- to late-game. Of the creatures not yet mentioned, I think Sakura is fairly obvious here, as is Essense Warden.
Grave Pact is an awesome card in most environments, but is especially powerful with tokens and the devour creatures. In games vs. other creature heavy decks, I recommend siding in Savra, who can acts as additional Grave Pacts. For more targeted removal there are Bone Splinters in side. Necrogenesis for graveyard hate, and Thoughtpicker Witch to disrupt combo.
Except for the mana base, the above deck is reasonably priced. If you like the deck and can afford the pricier cards, I suggest trying Bitterblossom and Thoughtseize.
Just something i've been playing casually for a while the marsh flitter made the deck a whole lot better. Not really a tournament worthy deck but hey sometimes we need to chill relax and just have fun.The deck has alot of ways to kill which makes it well suited for muti-player games.
The whole idea here is to use the thrull tokens Endrek spits out to fuel a huge husk then cast soulblast for the win.Resolving a cloudstone curio allows you to return all your token producing creatures to the hand for more token goodness. You can soulblast for the win or just ride the pandemonium for the win.The Blood Funnel can turn an ordinary turn into an explosive one because hey turning one mana into five is the heat.
1st turn birds
2nd turn wall + visionary
3rd turn endrek
4th turn chord of calling for the big dumb dragon like in extended dragon elves and swing for lots with haste
you can also chord of calling for your trinket mage, which fetches an answer, or you can play skullclamps, cycle through your tokens endlessly until you have enough mana to hardcast a big dumb dragon or just swing for lots with tokens. I know the list isnt the cheapest, but you can always swap out the birds for something else like a gemhide sliver?
