I remembered a player with the name "Unvote Vote Pod" in the same game as "Pod" in one of the games I was in. IIRC, everyone just shortened his name to UVP or something like that. So, I'll expect something like Vote: EtB or Vote: NL if there really are such players.
But that is neither here nor there, and we are seriously digressing from the game. -_-

I've said my piece already. I think that most of the players in this game are ready to end the block, and so am I. My remaining doubts about doing that now revolve around those players who haven't been participating as much - Samoht, Unolego, and such - and I don't think it's worth delaying the end of the block just to try and force a bit of post-block analysis from them. They are going to be at the top of my list for Block 2, though.
Well, since we have some time to kill, let's discuss my scum list.
1. desCoures - First person to be on my scum list. Gave me reason not to trust him right on Page 1 itself and I have never found any reason to take him off the list since then.
2. Samoht - First sparked off my interest with his returning(2nd) post. He came in declaring joy that the game has started and essentially the random voting stage is over. However, he proceeded with what seemed to be a random vote anyway, thus not being helpful (maybe not wanting to comment on the current issues at that time). I have been attempting to provoke him to post more since in order to better accurately judge him, but so far it hasn't been working. If I'm not wrong, he was posting in his other games during his absence?
3. Rook - I somehow doubt the existence of a survivor. I dunno. I have both the movies, but have yet to watch them. I didn't even know it was a book. Thought it was a manga or something like that, so I don't really know the storyline other than the summary. Rook's claim/partial-claim came off very neutralish though, so I'll leave him hanging in the air for now. But if he counts against the town's numbers during the endgame, we need to get rid of him soon.
4. Infinis - First caught my attention with his very short opinion (basically just a NO) on the mass claims, as if he was reluctant to elaborate on his stand. He only did so when someone proded him (RR?). Second time he caught my attention was when he jumped onto Seppel's wagon. I noted his late jump as something probably to be looked into later. Then, Seppel's wagon died out. I listed Infinis as someone I'll probably go through when I have the time as part of the people on Seppel's wagon, and he sort of lashed out, I think. He accused me of accusing multiple people as scums in an effort to lurk, which really seemed out of the blue. His posts since then haven't really gave me much of an impression to lean one way or the other.
5. Archmage Eternal - I thought the original accusation against him was a bit of a stretch, but he never really responded satisfactorily, in my opinion, against loran. In fact, he went under the radar in an effort to avoid replying to loran. He only surfaced again when the wagon on SSB was well underway, conveniently making no mention of the questions loran asked of him earlier, despite the prodding I gave him on it. That was when he went into my scum list. I think he is worth looking into.
"Hello, children!", you hear over the speakers placed around the island. "It's time to give you a little update on who is still in The Program and who has left with a little help!"
TheFooFish, Yoshimi Yahagi, Scum Mason, Mitsuko Souma's Gang, is dead from a detonated collar. Cyan, Hirono Shizimu, Mitsuko Souma's Gang, is dead from gunshot. sandsoft_blue, Ryuhei Sasagawa, Kazuo Kiriyama's Gang, is dead, collar detonated by majority vote. Rook, Hiroshi Kuronaga, Kazuo Kiriyama's Gang, is dead from gunshot. Dagger, Noriko Nakagawa, Protown Double-Voter, is dead from gunshot.
Dagger, you just made the best buzzer-beater ever with that last post. And I can see how you could have proved your ability was town
Who killed Rook? Good job, whoever that was. I was going to waste a lot of time looking his posts over.
Also, we appear to have killed 4 non-town during block 1. We are doing very well! I guess we have to figure out who the gang leaders Mitsuko Souma and Kazuo Kiriyama are? Are those likely to be characters in this?
Also, I now have the alternate username No Lynch registered. Thanks for the idea Some One.

You said "what if someone had the name No Lynch" so I registered as No Lynch. Then I stupidly forgot I was still logged in as No Lynch, and posted my thing.
Well that was good, 4 scum for 1 town. I am a little surprised to see Rook as scum (I had him pegged as neutral survivor for sure) but someone at least had the right idea.
In other news:
Seppel's still alive... whoop...de...doo...
Actually on that note, you said the only reason you wouldn't explain your Rook comment is that scum would kill you, can you explain now?
I'm not on my computer right now, so I can't post much right now.
@EP- I don't take much stock in Cyan's 3 man group....it was really sketchy and cyan was in a bad state at that point anyhow.
Couple of things though before i go. I'm going to guess we've had 2 vig shots (Cyan-day vig shot, Rook-block end/night vig shot). I wouldn't be surprised if those were one-shots, but if they are not one-shots, i advise whoever controls those kills to put their guns back in the holster.
We're in really the best possible scenario we could've hoped for (Well besides dagger, but still you get the point) and quick vigging (see LOTR, Dollar) will only speed up the game's end and give the scum a chance to get back in this.

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
I'm completely lost right now. To me it looks like these groups are rival groups within the town. I don't think players would come forward with this kind of information this easily otherwise.
Hmmmmm.
With all these deaths, we have TONS to go on. It also seems that we have tons of scums to kill. This is gon' get weird.
I'm not sure why it's on the headline but it was also in the sign up thread by the game description.
Basically who should not be or should not have trusted whom? I'm not in any group, so all this group stuff is an entire mystery to me, but I can presume this headline relates to something that transpired with respect to these groups.

We do have a scum mason among the bodies. That's a good reason to avoid trust.
Oh, and: vote: Unolego, for reasons discussed at the end of Block 1.
I guess I was completely wrong about Rook. At least someone went ahead and took him out while we outnumber the scum. I'm also a bit surprised that TFF turned up scum, but with such an early death, I guess he didn't make a strong impression on me.
So where to begin this block? Infinis was looking pretty questionable near the end of Block 1, but with all these new scum bodies, maybe we could look into who their friends were last block.
Actually, wasn't Infinis a big SSB defender while still voting Seppel? Hmmm...
Actually on that note, you said the only reason you wouldn't explain your Rook comment is that scum would kill you, can you explain now?
Two reasons:
1) To encourage the scum to target me by making them think that I might have a power role, thereby protecting the real town power roles. I'm vanilla town. I just guessed at who did it based on who was active at the time.
2) To leave a cryptic message so that if I die but a group member of mine is still alive in the endgame, s/he can claim
If I didn't get lynched, then hooray, maybe they'll be dumb enough to think that they could sow seeds of doubt if I lived long enough to the endgame.
And it looks like one scum group shot the other, lol.
So, Cyan and TFF were in cahoots, and Rook was with SSB.
Three gunshot deaths - so either there are three mafia factions or one of those was a SK or Vig. I'm leaning towards Vig since Rook was likely to be lynched at some point, so I can't envision a rival mafia faction shooting him and even seems like a waste for a Serial Killer. So I'd guess the trickery of TFF into a collar bomb is a SK/3rd faction's doing then.
If anything, Skander is more likely to be town, or on opposite factions to TFF.
As for Seppel, I figured it'd probably be something dumb. Guess it was. I doubt mafia would've tried to shoot you. Not sure what the second part is supposed to accomplish. You say "Thanks rook", but how does that help your group member do anything?
As I said before I was a mason with TFF. I had asked the mod if TFF was confirmed townie mason with me and he acknowledged the question but refused to answer.
As is evident by what people have been saying and the death scene itself there are groups. I am not in a group, I was only a mason with TFF.
As a minor nitpick, I have Cyan listed as Hirono Shizimu, but in the lore the name is Hirono Shimizu. For the sake of continuity I'm leaving the error intact but the name is incorrect with respect to lore.
Yep. Skander can't confirm this due to name claiming, but he's 100% clear.
Some_one, go read wikipedia. Please.
Do some research.

I have trouble believing there are protown factions within this game. I have reason to believe that there is a town group and two seperate anti-town groups.

umm...
¿QUE?

Archmage and mostly Infinis, who came across as super newb scum yesterday.
... wouldn't 2 godfathers be more likely? Both leaders are still around and Cyan mentioned a three person group.

It's the headline of the block, and it probably should be looked into because I doubt Bluesoul pulled that out of thin air.

Cubus on my "needs to die" list earlier was a mistake, I had misinterpreted this post:
Woot. Missed that before.
Here it sounds like loran is telling his group not to claim.
Hmmmmm.

I'm not sure why it's on the headline but it was also in the sign up thread by the game description.

He said mason with TFF

TFF's group we'll have to be careful around. Was it Cyan who claimed to be in the same group? And Skander?
Anyone have the claims copied down?
Second question still applies.
Well, I'm out of ideas, except I'd like to see some hounding of Infinis.
Two reasons:
1) To encourage the scum to target me by making them think that I might have a power role, thereby protecting the real town power roles. I'm vanilla town. I just guessed at who did it based on who was active at the time.

Really? Oh yeah...he did. FoS Skander.
Explanation plz kthx

RobRoy is probably right about the header.
I'd like to hear from Skander.
Skander claimed he was mason of TFF. I'll let you know if this means he's scum or not in a moment.
As for Seppel, I figured it'd probably be something dumb. Guess it was. I doubt mafia would've tried to shoot you. Not sure what the second part is supposed to accomplish. You say "Thanks rook", but how does that help your group member do anything?

That is correct. Skander is Yoji Kuramoto.

I did not converse at all with him. I believe I said all these things on Block 1...

because at this time I feel Infinis is just vindictive and not scum

Uh, duh? Did you even read bluesoul's post?
FoS: Kpaca, for not making sense.
Incorrect. Where would you even get an idea like that?
