@raikou rider: you should really add genesis / eternal witness combo to your list. they should both be in EVERY deck with green.
Agreed. I had trouble adding Genesis at first but then I realized how GOOD it is. I also have Restock and the 5th dawn trip regrowth. Reusing cards is very useful.

Even if it's not a 5 power creature i think genesis have a place in your deck
Totally agree with this. Genesis is one of those creatures that should go into almost any green deck that heavily features creatures, it is just such a powerful recursion engine.
Also Sarkhan Vol is a much more fun EDH card than Ajani Vengeant. One-sided Armageddons win duels, for sure, but taking one person's creature so you can attack another person is way cooler than keeping something tapped or Lightning Helix, and dropping 20 flying attack power onto the board in one go is just awesome. I'd pick Sarkhan over Ajani in EDH any day.

I doubt I will use the ultimate of Vol, but as most people should remember, almost every universal board sweeper doesn't say 'all permanents', so Planeswalkers stick. Also, reusable threaten is good in EDH, right?
Vengeant is terrible in EDH though. The only worse general would be Goldmane or Jace (Jace could work in some decks of course), I would say.

I had some silly plays last night.
I played Defense of the Heart, he let it trigger, I pulled out Seedborne and Duplicant to remove his threat, cast Flameblast dragon, put boots on dragon, attacked with dragon and the lifelink giving bird, blew up his blocker with dragon, then activated my Spinerock Knoll, which had a Tooth and Nail under it. (Didn't have the mana to entwine, so what) Grabbed Witness and something else, played witness next turn and grabbed Tooth, played and entwined, crazyy.
I'm trying to get older cards for the deck...Maze of Ith comes to mind, but I can't think of much else. The vintage player of the store wants some of my cards, I just can't help her out with what I would need.

Hey, just wondering what is your meta normally like? I have some things I have in mind, but I am wondering what your meta is.
I have hardly played enough to say we have a meta. I am hoping to build one up so we can have legitimate multiplayer games. I have only been able to play 1on1s.
Right now there is a Sedris deck (lots of CIP/unearth abuse, rockish deck), Teneb deck (lots of silly combos, shenanigans, fun deck, but still being built), Augustin (bounce, counter, bounce, annoying as anything. repeatable bounce hoses me so hard), this other kid has several decks, one of them being Sisay (tutor tutor tutor it up, nothing too noteworthy, but a good deck).

Behemoth is a little too scrawny for my tastes. I cut him from the deck in favor of bigger dudes.
I don't like brawn really. I like giving my guys haste and thats it really. Tread is just mean, but I might think about it. I had fires in here, I prefer Anger. I have enough tutor effects and land search though, so I am good on the rest. (Hopefully the RG landcycler in ARB is 5 power!)

Not Really, Mayael the Anima will just put fattys directly into play making counterspells pointless.
In my opinion Rumbling Slum doesn't make the cut and I just don't think Spellbreaker Behemoth will either. I know it's a new card so it has the crazy hype factor going for it.

Why is Slum bad...? And what do you run over it? I have 23 power 5 guys in there, and will possibly put the Behemoth in, depending on the other 5power guys in ARB.
Here is my decklist, updated and accurate for once:
Played with this tonight on Lackey, 'seds; one of your iffy-from-memory builds, + though I got stuck on 5 land twice, I still held on long enough to make some people soil their pants.
Nice to see Scroll Rack on your list, staring at a hand of fat is paaain when your opponent just blew up your Kite >_<

Aha ha, MR is one of my favourite cards. This deck is too fun.
I agree. I am getting a little bored with playing it 1 on 1. When this deck goes off, it goes OFF, and most decks can't keep up.
The superstars of the deck include Tooth, Seedborne, Scroll Rack (gets irritating after awhile, but is still useful for digging), Knotvine Mystic...and more.
The mystic is great for acceleration, as is Bloom Tender, of course. I have so much mana at my disposal once I am searching and playing stuff. Love it.
One thing I am considering putting back in is Kavu Lair. It is one of the few things I could play to 'play politics' in a multiplayer game, while still helping me immensely. I would have to find another one, so I might not bother. (Also, what to take out...)
I was really shocked to find MR in the uncommon box at my shop.
I want to try to free up another slot so I can put Hymn of Rebirth back in. Love that card.
I might consider taking out the mind's eye. I never need it, and I am always casting things and using my mana, etc...I don't really like the card for this deck. Looking over the cardlist I would say it is the most underperforming thing I have. (I could pull the Hull Breach for an O-stone or something like that in the future)

I've traded the 6/1 guy for a Bogarden Hellkite. Slower but more versatile.
The three decks I've faced all had Nev's Disk, + at least one of them ran Oblivion Stone, so having an O-Stone to place Fate counters/up the sweeper count would be good. There aren't a lot of early plays in this deck, so I'm was staring at 2 dozen elves/saprolings before Mayael was ready to get the fat rolling - thank the overbeing for Anger to explode out of the gates
Maybe I just got some weird matchups, but would you run Disk/***/more sweepers if you could?

More sweepers is never bad, so I wouldn't see why not. I would run disk or stone before Wrath though.

Since my other two decks at this point are really focused, highly synergistic piles of my best cards, I thought it might be fun to make a deck that's just focused on throwing out big creatures to smash my opponents with. This deck is geared more towards casual gaming than cutthroat competition, although it could probably hold up well enough either way.
My only Garruk is in my Sek'Kuar deck, but I'll keep my eye out for any good trades to get another. Also, I just came across a Weatherseed Treefolk and a Rhox in the back of my binder. I wanna at least fit the Treefolk in, but I'm not sure what to take out for it. Any ideas?

I really like some of your choices, but this deck could use some refining. I would take out Patron of the Akki or Sabretooth Nishoba. I have played with the Nishoba and it was always underwhelming. I have no idea why I didn't know of Silver Seraph. I might try to find her and use her...sweet card. Why Purity? I would much rather have Vigor for the amazing Vigor/Scourge of Kher Ridges combo.
I will look over the deck more tomorrow, but most of the stuff on my list would be what I would suggest, so I won't waste my breath.
