It's back for a fourth run. I ran the first, which was won by Seratonin who hosted the second round, and that was won by Gerard's Mom who ran the third round. The winner Jimmy Groove is a little busy so I'll take over the duties. Let me copy paste from the last thread a bit before we get to signups.
Rules
What is the Double Dare game all about? Briefly put, you provide challenges, I pair you up, you make cards, and I judge them, with the winners moving on. There is a twist, however - in order to prevent people from making challenges that are impossible to design for, any player has the right to "double dare" their opponent, forcing the opponent to make a card for his or her own challenge. In that case, I will provide a challenge for the "daring" contestant.

I need 16 players to sign up by posting a challenge. This should be something similar to what you would see in the MCC (formerly FCC); for example, "Make a red creature with haste," or "Make a land that produces Goblin tokens." Judging will be done in a more holistic fashion, with detailed comments but no precise points system.
Schedule
We will begin design as soon as I have 16 challenges (that means you will be skipped if you leave a placeholder post and I get 16 challenges after that). I am going to shoot for 3 days to submit designs, but it could take longer if we need to adjust for dares and providing new challenges.

My challenge: Make a flip card that "ascends" into a planeswalker.
That's a hard one, but not impossible so that makes it a great challenge for this game. I want whoever does this one to see how such a card might look. I toyed with this idea a while back and wanted to provide a link:
The key point is that space is a premium on a flip card so you should keep it to two abilities. Also you should somehow make certain you have loyalty counters when you flip so you don't have the problem Milldawg ran into in the April MCC Finals: If it doesn't come into play as a planeswalker it doesn't automatically get loyalty counters. I hate to see someone loose in a contest to an amateur mistake.
Abilities exist independently of their source. It's like shooting a guy after he throws a grenade. The grenade is still coming. But if you remove the target, the ability is countered upon resolution. It's like a grenade, if the guy you threw your grenade at disappears, it won't explo.... wait what?

Put up your cards (or say you are refusing the challenge) in a new post and I'll try to judge these by let's say Friday night. If someone puts up a card and then has their challenge change I'll give them some extra time if they need it.
One thing I'm not going to do that I did before is try to take the edge off of the harder challenges. At least two here border on impossible, so if you haven't been through this all before to know how this game is played I suggest you look over the past threads.
To clarify a few of the requests, when Homee1212 says "nuke" that is to be interpreted as destruction (Edit - or forced sacrifice, per Homee1212's statement below), a "lifegain enchantment" is defined as any Enchantment that gains it's controller life, and a "RFG spell" is defined as any spell that removes a permanent from the game. If there is any more questions along those lines I'll be surprised, but PM me if you have to. If there's ambiguity then do with that what you will, just keep in mind that if I determine that a card doesn't fit the challenge then it automatically looses.
jdurham6's challenge requires an additional note. Eye for an Eye already exists, so the challenge is to make a card that could appropriately be titled such but you may not give it the name of a card already in print and should give it another.
