yeah, it was a bit strange, i mean the idea is nice, but i couldn't think of anything good. Casualfiend won for sure, i love Dragons

Okay cool, another TWIJ. Thanks bloodyspasm for the interesting idea - it seems like something that could be massaged into a neat ability with a little work. But the ability-share or other crew bonuses are a neat idea for creatures.
And as a sidenote, "Vessel" got my brain on a tangent and for some reason I want to build a casual Eternity Vessel + Yawgmoth's Bargain deck.

The Challenge
So its only been a couple of weeks of Zendikar, but if you're like me you've played with the same cards so many times (Damn you Z/Z/Z draft!) that what were once new and exciting have now become as commonplace as that stack of Savage Gorillas you have lying around. And we are so dizzyingly far from Worldwake and it's new rush of cards. So here's where we can rid ourselves of Zendikar malaise: Design a card that could have been a part of Zendikar by including at least one Landfall ability OR by making a card that works with the Ally theme.
To throw an idea out there, here's a card I made in another recent TWIJ...
Eldrazi Outlands
Land T: Add 1 to your mana pool. Landfall - Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, return a land you control to its owner's hand. As their return to power approaches, chaos is their vanguard.
(And by the way, this is how to format Landfall; "Landfall" in italics, followed by a dash, followed by the trigger & effect.)
How about an Ally lord? Multicolor Allies? Noncreature Ally cards? More Landfall in the colour that you thought got the weakest ones? New 'adventuring' themed cards (gear, quests, etc)? More Landfall from graveyard? Or improving/reworking an existing card from Zendikar that you thought could have been stronger (or entirely different)?
This one should stop around 15 entries, but in each entry you can have 2 cards if you want (1 each of Landfall & Ally). Winner will probably still be the best single card, but two strong cards at once would likely go far.
NOTE:: Bonus points if you can functionally mash both abilities into a single card. Or (for no reason), if your card is/has any of the following: Goat; Squirrel; large casting cost (6+); alternate casting cost; Kicker; or a counter ability/spell.
Oran-Rief Tavern Tribal Land - Ally
~ enters the battlefield tapped unless you control another Ally.
:symtap:: add to your mana pool. Landfall - Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, you may put a 0/1 green Goat Ally creature token onto the battlefield. In the Vastwood border, Heroes stop at this outpost for bed, ale, or supplies.
So, the idea here, is that the Goats are pack animals that adventurers purchase. You know, someone's got to carry all that loot.

I already liked the ally theme, but I didnt see any good and cheap red allies. I mean, red has only one cheap ally, Highland Berserker, which isnt really good. the other allies have 5 or 6 cc, making it hard to fit in any deck, though 2 of them have nice abilities. Therefore I designed this card to make them a little bit faster...at the cost of their lives
(btw: on that render, chasay is the guy underneath the flames, summoning something big xD)

Sometimes I wonder if they've always existed.
Edit: I'd really like to point out that I don't think this activates itself because that would vastly change the powerlevel of this card.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Putting the card in the graveyard is the last step of resolving a spell. So, once you're resolving it and putting a land on the field, it's not in the yard yet.

I wanted a "grave" land fall ability, so I thought I'd add that, play a land, get an insect, destroy your own land, get an ally, allies help insects in this case.

I don't know if the wording is correct, but I want the lands to trigger the comes into play abilities of other allies. does this work as printed? or is to late to take effect at the point of having entered the battlefield?
I don't think it would work since Landfall is a trigger on the land entering play, and it only 'becomes' an ally after the trigger resolves. This is already too late for the other allies to trigger on "enter the battlefield".
Would have to be worded more like:
"Lands entering the battlfield under your control are 'Tribal - Ally' until end of turn in addition to their other types". (Tribal is there since I don't think you can just have a floating creature type on a non-creature card unless it is tribal.)
or maybe:
Lands you play are Tribal Allies in addition to their other types until the end of the turn they enter the battlefield. (to make a similar effect)

thats what i though as well, always be careful with the rules, subtypes are limited by the cardtypes, and only creatures and tribals may have creature types^^
