The goal is simple : drop a Quest, build it to 3 counters, drop big fishes on the board and eat your opponent's face ! Mulligans are a big part of the game, since you need a quest on turn 1 !
I need help to improve this deck and build a sideboard.
And don't tell me that Jace 2.0 would fit in. I know it but I don't have some...
1. Good Decks Play With Good Cards
2. Good Decks Have Good Plans
3. Good Decks Have Good Mana Bases
4. Good Decks Respect Their Opponents
5. Good Decks Have 75 Cards
6. Sometimes Even Good Decks Are Bad Choices
7. Sometimes Your 'Good Deck' Isn't
Hmmm an interesting idea, that quest is a definite favorite.
Other snakey options would be Scrapdiver serpent, the unblockable can come in mighty handy and even though its expensive to play you dont care since your cheating it into play :D.
Lorthos, the Tidemaker is another mighty squid that can seriously lock down people if you have enough mana to do his ability.
Overall your choice of sushi monster depends on your seriousness with the deck.

Crystal Ball sounds like a fine inclusion. Also, you may want to include some Kraken Hatchlings, they can slow down aggro decks and count toward your quest.
I tried this deck last Standard, it was fun, but the loss of Inkwell Leviathan dealt it a huge blow.

One card you guys seem to be forgetting that is an easy autoinclude in this deck is augury owl. It helps your creature count for quest and let's you set up your quest too.
I hate to be the downer here but without other awesome leviathans like inkwell its a hit our miss.i ran something like this when alara was in standard and it rocked.
Here I thought I was the only one trying to make Ula's Temple work! Before rotation I had a decklist like the others here--heavy on deck manipulation spells. Even then, there was too many games where I didn't even see a Temple, nevermind getting the counters (not always easy) and not having it countered, bombed, hexed, slimed, etc.
My newest list has zero instants or sorceries, and more creatures (still has 12 deck manipulators). If I random chance for a creature on top, it's 40%. More importantly, I have a great alternative to Temple, which is Grand Architect + Everflowing Chalice. All those creatures can now power Temple or Architect, on top of their own abilities. Finally I have a third alternative, Clone Shell.
I feel this is a much stronger list, but in the end, the targets for Ula aren't that great. Stormtide and Lorthos are easily removed with Doom Blade, Journey to Nowhere, and most of everything else.
Quest is a sick card but I don't think it will ever be more than a casual deck. There's a couple articles about it in Serious Fun on Daily mtg but I'm too lazy to find the links right now.
Blood Braid Elf is underplayed in standard now. She was in practically every deck, but after October people just suddenly stopped running her in their 75. Weird considering how good she is.

You cannot outrun the beast within.
I thought putting Lorthos, the Tidemaker and Scrapdiver Serpent in, but they don't have islandwalk, so they just don't fit with Stormtide Leviathan ability.

Hmm thats a good point and stormtide is just too awesome to not include.
Alrighty then I said nothing
PS: I agree with Fuzalt in that you probably should include 4 pre ordains as library control actually matters alot to this deck

I prefer Thrummingbird to Kraken Hatchling because it can attack after a leviathan drop, and do something else than just blocking.

Also how's clone shell working for you Juventas?
