It definitely puts things in perspective.
As much as I really like the whole Phyrexian deal a lot more, Mirran does look to have a lot more solid and aggressive cards so far. I'm probably gonna go Mirran, if not just for the Bladehold promo but it's gonna kill me that it'll lessen my chances of getting them Inkmoth Nexuses that I'm pumming over.
But ja, alas I think I'm gonna go Mirran.
Edit: Jeepers, after giving it another review......I sure hope they give Phyrexia a little better shot at this. It looks like Mirran has waaaaay more efficient creatures AND all the cool removal to boot.
I already did this but they deleted my thread for some reason. So I didn't remake it. But hopefully they won't delete yours!
Also, yeah. I was planning on going Mirran at the pre-release because Phyrexia is going to be fighting itself with infect vs. lifeloss split. This makes it clear how much of a fight that will be.
However, in today's culture of Justin Bieber, Jersey Shore, and Twilight, where every song on the radio, every program on television and every site on the internet is just another monument to the pinnacle of human stupidity, it's certainly not the worst thing that people could be watching.
I stuck this. But since I don't think I can lock this and still allow the OP to edit it, could we not use this thread to say what you're playing at the pre-re? That's not what this thread is for and it only makes it bogged down.
Thanks for the list! Right now it looks like Phyrexia has the better commons and uncommons, but Mirran has better rares and mythics. It looks like its going to be an interesting Prerelease.
I started a list like this last night, but it was just Faction / color / name for quick reference.
I've been betting on Phyrexian looking better in this set when all is said and done, simply because your 3 Scars of Mirrodin packs at the pre-release will automatically have your card pool tilted towards the Mirren side.

As much as I really like the whole Phyrexian deal a lot more, Mirran does look to have a lot more solid and aggressive cards so far. I'm probably gonna go Mirran, if not just for the Bladehold promo but it's gonna kill me that it'll lessen my chances of getting them Inkmoth Nexuses that I'm pumming over.
But ja, alas I think I'm gonna go Mirran.
Edit: Jeepers, after giving it another review......I sure hope they give Phyrexia a little better shot at this. It looks like Mirran has waaaaay more efficient creatures AND all the cool removal to boot.

Also, yeah. I was planning on going Mirran at the pre-release because Phyrexia is going to be fighting itself with infect vs. lifeloss split. This makes it clear how much of a fight that will be.
