I like it. I tried to search for some constructive criticism to offer, but the best I've got is that Padishah's Sculpture is a strictly better Ur-Golem's Eye.
Maybe this reality is actually an alternate reality of a reality in which New Phyrexia was the joke expansion and Mirrodin Pure was the obvious expansion, except our reality is the Time Shifted reality which is opposite of that other reality which is that actual reality.
It works well enough - very strong compared to soulshift and making me wary of its use as tutor for combos (paying one more mana for copy #5-8 of your piece seems cheap enough).
You aren't planning on making the sacrificing to hard anyway (Potions).
I wonder how strong alone cascading through the Behemoth (i. e. searching for the next lowest cmc each time) with an Atog and a Glaze Fiend on the battlefield is.
It seems dangerous and very consistent since many parts are exchangeable. Keep an eye on all of that!
Note also though that you probably want to use a keyword in this set on nonartifact cards (and I don't know whether you are planning to use evoke that way).

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]

I might, if I settle on a block keyword. The more I think about it, the more I'm not convinced that I need one. But it would certainly show up on non-artifact cards in this set (not enough room in the artifact chunk for it).
For the record, Evoke is being used as a color-linked keyword. Excepting the Reagents, I plan for every Evoke cost to contain colored mana. And, the Reagents kind of get a pass here because they're creating colored mana.
I will definitely keep an eye on the dangers of reconstruct. I realize that it's a risky mechanic - and I thought about the Atog problem, certainly (maybe it would be more accurate to call it the Psychatog problem). I know I need some sacrifice-enablers in the set, so part of the work is just going to be to balance those to keep out Wild Mongrels and the aforementioned Atogs. But, can you think of any good control strategies off the top of your head? Like, what is the best anti-Psychatog card? I will probably need a few in the set as safety valves.
I want to stick this here because A) I've been sitting on it for a while, B), I have posted no rare cards from this set, yet, and C) I think it conveys an idea of how I want to use (and cost) artifact sacking in this set:
Blazing Simurgh4R

2RRR, Sacrifice an artifact: Return Blazing Simurgh from your graveyard to the battlefield.

Hopefully this guy can inform some of the discussion about Reconstruct: I designed him to be a showpiece Potion / Reconstruct enabler.
Reconstruct = great with Arcum Daggson decks I believe

[EDIT]: Upped the rarity from common to uncommon, boosted the Behemoth's toughness by 1.
Nice.

Yeah, it is. But it's not like Ur-Golem's Eye was burning up the tourney bracket.
Glad you like the mechanic!
