Five people here have been testing every night for the past couple weeks (more so since the bannings than before) against Valakut, Splinter Twin, Valakut Twin, Shape Anew, U/B Control, Mono Black... This deck has been pretty consistent against all of them. Valakut game one is the roughest match-up, but I can attest that the match-up post board is much better. Tectonic Edge and Surgical Extraction, along with swapping out my Mana Leaks for Flashfreeze is incredibly important to make the match-up more winnable. Splinter Twin and Valakut Twin are both better match-ups, mostly because Valakut loses a turn and I have enough outs against Exarch that it requires them to pause long enough to turn some of my "slower" cards on... like Gideon Jura. U/B is a pretty easy match-up as are the other decks.
The deck needs work, but I'm posting it here for idea's and thoughts. I think Venser is probably going to find a home along with Wall of Omens in the main deck, and I really like Ratchet Bomb and really don't like Treasure Hunt even though you can net 4-5 cards with this list.
I like your list but, just glancing over it, it appears very susceptible to R and/or W aggro decks that swarm by turn 3. Also all-in infect decks like mono-G. How are those MU's? It seems you could cut the treasure hunts and chalices for more spot removal like dismember, condemn, oust...

The sideboards posted recently dont include Leyline of Sanctity, isn't this our best out against valakut? And it seems to me like Spreading Seas is much better in exarch-twin than in U/W control, in splinter-twin it is good in every match up because it can hit inkmoths and other man-lands (and draw cards), but for U/W its dead against everything except valkut and mirro matches, and it hardly assures a win in either case.
The way I see it, Valakut has 3 Nature's Claim and you have 3 Leyline of Sanctity, if you can counter their enchantment removal or have them waste it on Luminarch Ascension then you're winning.
Batterskull- As a finisher, I think this guy is awesome. He can win games on his own, he is incedibly resistant to removal, both since he is an equipment, and since he can bounce himself to avoid shatter-esque effects. He turns any creature into a must-deal with threat, stretching the opponent's removal thin. Plus he can be recurred with the singleton Buried Ruin
Buried Ruin- Helps to recur Batterskull, and chalices. Also works well with sun Titan.
The sideboard is still up in the air. It will probably contain some varied assortment of Leylines, Flashfreezes and other cool stuff.
With preordain if i get a bad card and a good card, i can pitch the bad one and keep the good one. With ponder I have to make a choice to keep 2 bad cards in order to keep 1 good one. With more shuffle effects, I might take ponder over preordain

Fair enough. I prefer Ponder for the 1 more card of digging, but then again, I run a slightly different build based on my meta.
How are the Tezzeret's Gambits working for you? I've been kicking around the idea of using them, but I feel like it might be a little better to run Divination. Usually, the extra counter on my planeswalkers don't matter.
I'm getting back into UW now that Caw-Blade is gone and M12 is out. My list is nothing fancy, but it seems pretty solid, winning me quite a few matches against Valakut, RDW, and SplinterExarch in my testing over the last week with the cards I picked up from the prerelease.
It's very similar to tapout style UW control decks from last year, except instead of Path to Exile I have dismember, and instead of Baneslayer Angel or Sun Titan, I have Hero of Bladehold.
Sideboard is designed primarily to deal with SplinterExarch, UW/UB Control, Valakut, and RDW, with a bit of wiggle room for whatever else may come along.
Currently, SplinterExarch is the toughest matchup, with the deck going slightly below 50%, and RDW is the easiest, with a win rate hovering around 65%.
So I've been playing mono black for awhile and tried UB control but neither seemed to work with me so I've come to try and make UW. So far in testing I've been able to play a few games against vamps and Splinter Twin but haven't really tested the deck thoroughly against either and haven't really tested the valakut match up. I know for sure that I have 2 splinter twin decks and one vamps deck in my meta but the other people I play against are usually homebrewed and budget decks so it was kind of hard to decide what to put for sideboard. So this is what I've come up with so far.
This is a rough draft of what I'm playing in my meta full of RDW and MBC. I don't play Kor Firewalker because he just sucks now and I'm still iffy on Mirran Crusader against MBC.
Im looking at maybe One DoJ, Sundial +???
Also thinking of cutting the stonehorn's since they only have synergy with venser and a one time sort of use with the images.
On the other hand they provide great lock.
Also since I'm not running WoO would it be worth it to still run maybe 3 squad hawks MD?
