The core of the deck is, obviously, creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield effects. That way I get solid bang for my buck both times around. I play a few ways to cheat the exile at end of turn bit of unearth, such as Changeling Berserker and Portcullis.
Many slots in my deck are dedicated to goofy effects where I piggyback on the card quality of my opponents. In my experience that's pretty reliable in Commander. Wild Ricochet on even Kodama's Reach is a strong play, and once in a while you'll get to hit something absurd like Violent Ultimatum. I remain convinced that cantripsarekeyinthisformat; whenever possibly, my answers don't cost me a card.
I don't include any tutors in this deck. There's no particular reason, I just didn't feel like it. I guess I'd rather draw a bunch of cards and just put the ones I don't want into the graveyard. Quantity over quality, as they say.
The deck list, as well as a visual spoiler and mana curves, can be found on a Google spreadsheet HERE.
Note: if playing in my small playgroup where we have elected to ban Sol Ring, that slot is replaced by another Island.
