Though I have to say I love this deck. I played against a BG Sapling deck and most of the game I was behind. I even had a 10/10 Thrun beating my face in. But after a couple of well placed counters, including a voidslime to counter the regen ability of Thrun I pulled ahead and eventually won. I casted Damia 3 times that game. First one was wrathed away. Second drew me 5 cards then blocked a Prime Time. Third one my opponent conceded to. This deck doesn't need Damia. But when it uses her it's hard to lose.
I play a list that is very close to love_blanket's. I don't run the survival package that he does in favor of a little more counter and I run worm harvest as a way to win after wiping the board and stabilizing. The deck definitely can make huge comebacks if you build around a strong control core, which I think most of us that discuss the deck on here are doing.
I play this deck a lot 1v1 which makes my counter all the more important to me, but I think the deck can adapt to multiplayer/1v1 with just a different setting of priorities while playing matches.
Side note: has anyone tried Mirri's Guile? A turn 1 free top every turn is semi appealing. It can't replace top of course, but the effect for the cost seems pretty reasonable.

Yea. Damia seems to be a tier 1 1v1 general if built right. And what makes her awesome is that shes amazing in multi also. If you play politics well enough she can come from behind to win games easy. I always joke that this is a UG deck that splashes B for tutors and wraths.
Though I can't wait for Dark Ascension to see if we can get a couple more cards for this deck. Maybe another PW or UG spell land.

Words of Wind + Abundant Growth. I find this to be the most oppressive "combo" and to the best of my knowledge, I'm the first to stumble upon this. With Mana Crypt it's obnoxiously brutal and can come down real early. Might have to find room for Imperial Seal once again because of this.
Flashing out Terastodon and Reanimating it early game can seal the deal too. There's so many power plays to this deck.

I find that Oona is lackluster and doesn't do nearly as much as Time Warp in terms of immediate impact. This sentiment changes with how much mana you have access to, but only seems good when you've hit the infinite realm. Which must be assembled. Since Tooth and Nail is going to do that anyways, might as well go with Time Warp.

I'm all for that.
Read the Runes is a great alongside 6 reanimation spells. You can't pitch the right cards EOT (opponent just before you) with a BlueSZ. The card provides alot of value alongside steal effects as well. There's alot you can do with this, and in a deck that attempts to reanimate creatures, this is where it's at. It has so many functions. And versatility is the name of the game in EDH. Also, if everything is getting blown up anyways, what better time to cast this spell?
Your points concerning my counter suite are spot on, and I will probably be amending my list to include your suggestions. I've been considering them for awhile now. Still working on it.
Corpse Dance is a HOUSE alongside Survival of the Fittest. If you are able to get a sac land out, even better. Survival a Terrastadon/Kederkt Leviathan/ETB creature into the GY, cast Corpse Dance with buyback, sac said creature to a creature sac land before it gets removed from the game. Rinse Repeat.
4 spells (5 counting Body Double) being able to target any GY is awesome. Probably one of the strongest plays is Flash, Terastadon, Reanimate Spell in the early game provided it's a 3-4 player game. It gets too risky beyond that many players as all those 3/3's and the opponents that didn't get hit by the Terastadon will be locked and loaded to take you out.
As for the Corrupter. If I take it out, it will be for a counterspell. Still, I love this card. There's so much value to it. The opponent's life total is 10. It can be recurred. It's CA. There's alot to it. Almost want to cut it for Vedalkan Shackles, but I'm finding that card to be more and more fragile.
Seculron, This is actually not a combo build. I try to stay away from combos because I feel they make you win even when you play horrible. And from that I don't learn anything. But if I play a control build I learn something every turn.
Now that being said I am not about to turn down free advice. Is Survival really that good? I looked at it but being my deck isn't creature heavy and the reanimation is bad. But if Survival doesn't get in my deck soon I'm going to look at Karador or Ghave to abuse it.

lolwut? You win with an 11 mana combo that requires 6+ pieces even when playing horrible? I dunno about that. The instant win combo is pretty easy to disrupt with just a spot removal spell or even a Strip Mine. Bad players usually lose amongst my group, no matter what they do. Sneaking in an instant win combo in a multiplayer EDH game might work once in awhile, but it's pretty rare.
I just posted my list as my version of a Control/Beats Damia as I didn't want to make another Control Damia thread, so I figured I just put my list here as you had already done the honor. If anything, my list is more of a Control/Cheats & Beats build.
Not saying Survival should go in your list. But if you have enough creatures (and reanimation spells), by all means go for it. I wasn't critiquing your list at all. But if you'd like, I can attempt to. Can't say my advice is the best, but it's advice if you want it.

Always enjoy some advice.
But Combos are frowned upon in our group and so I tend to stay away. But I guess I can look at the Tooth and Nail chain as it only requires Palinchron. Maybe I'll make a few changes and run some tests.
1 Exploration - include something like Sunder or Deathcloud/Life from the loam with this, might consider cutting it.
1 Sol Ring
2 Nature's Lore
2 Grim Monolith - Mana Crypt seems better
4 Skyshroud Claim - should probably cut this
4 Solemn Simulacrum
6 Primeval Titan
Card Draw [9]
1 Brainstorm - cut it, you aren't combo
1 Preordain - cut it, you aren't combo
1 Ponder - cut it, you aren't combo
1 Sensei's Divining Top
2 Sylvan Library
2 Impulse - cut it
3 Necropotence
4 Jace, the Mind Scuptor
6 Consecrated Sphinx
1 Nihil Spellbomb
3 Pernicious Deed
3 Oblivion Ring
4 Damnation
X Mind Twist - I wouldn't consider this mass removal, also, seems out of place. Perhaps consider Death Cloud
Counters [13] - If you aren't playing any combos, and aren't locking people out, and this is a multiplayer list, there's no need for this many counterspells. I'd cut at least 6-8 of these. Also, should probably use dessertion for the CA and amazing things it does.
0 Pact of Negation - cut this
2 Counterspell
2 Muddle the Mixture - cut this (you already have enough superior tutors anyways)
3 Dissipate - Use mana drain
3 Faerie Trickery - cut this
3 Forbid
3 Hinder
3 Spell Crumple
3 Voidslime
4 Glen Elendra Archmage
4 Rewind - cut this
4 Cryptic Command - might want to cut this
5 Force of Will
Tutor [7]
1 Vampiric Tutor
2 Demonic Tutor
2 Lim-Dul's Vault - Cut this, use Imperial Seal
4 Mystical Teachings - cut it
5 Primal Command - Bad card.
7 Tooth and Nail
X Green Sun's Zenith
Am I missing spells here or are you playing 42 lands? The deck just seems kinda all over the place. In a multiplayer game, you won't have enough resources to go counter crazy. Just seems the more players, the worse the deck is with all those counters.
I assume the engine is Seedborn muse / Counters, and draw.
So out of the new cards the only card that I can use in the deck that's interesting is Havengul Lich. If I get one at pre-release I might switch for Acidic Slime but I don't know if it will be awesome.
Anyways so the current changes which I am fairly confident in the decisions
-Mystical Teaching +Praetor's Grasp
-Primal Command +Trinket Mage
-Temple of the False God +Mox Diamond
And outside of that comes the couple choices I am not so sure with yet.
-Green Sun Zenith +Reassembling Skeleton
-Woodfall Primus +Skullclamp
Just another draw engine. And it seems to be fruitful on paper but I haven't gotten it in game yet. Thoughts?
Bloodghast and skullclamp will gain you more cards for less mana than reassembling skeleton. Mox diamond has been really good for me, getting into turn 1 or 2 cultivate is pretty amazing. There are so many cards that I would like to run, but there is just no room
If you feel like looking for a replacement for rewind I suggest dismiss. It's another faerie trickery. Although rewind is technically free, that one extra mana just doesn't feel right for me.

Yea Very true but I'm not a fan of maybe getting a land. Plus this gives me something to do with my large amount of mana in the late game.

I recently added it to both ramp into Damia faster and it works with Damia rather well. So when I added this I decided I have a Triket Mage Tool box with no Triket Mage. Seems fruitful but we will see.

Tell me about it. This deck makes me want to play soooooo many other cards. But they either don't work in this deck or are just not good enough. Or they are win more.

I assume you mean Dissipate which I currently run. Dismiss just seems bad.

No problem But there are a lot of cards I want to run. Right now I am on hold for the UG and GB spell lands in Dark Ascension. If either is good I will be cutting either Miren, the Moaning Well or Volrath's Stronghold. Both are good but with my creature lite list it's hard to justify what is usually just a colorless land. Volrath's sometimes useful against Uril, and Geist when used with my clones. Other than that nothing is looking absolutely amazing in Damia so far.
On a side note I got the Skeleton/Skullclamp engine going last night and it was incredible. It easily took over the game. And at one point I drew FoW and Pact of Negation and was easily able to tap out for cards each turn.
EDIT: UGH!!! The first forum post keeps messing up and putting in random quotes and spoiler tags after I go in and remove them. Anyone have an idea how to stop this? If not I'm going to have to leave it the way it is for a day or two.
So I picked up a Mana Crypt for the deck and my first game with it I got an amazing hand. Breeding Pool, Urborg, Forest, Island, Exploration, Trinket Mage, Sol Ring, and drew a Mox Diamond.
Turn 1 Pool - Explore - Urborg - Sol Ring - Mox discarding Forest - Trinket Mage - Mana Crypt.
Turn 2 Damia.
On another note is anyone able to help me with my dilemma that the first post is constantly adding random spoilers and quotes throughout my post. And when I remove them it doesn't save. I figure this is because I wrote part of it in Microsoft Word. Since then it's been messing up. If I can't fix it soon I will be posting a new Primer when it's finished.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your original post. I just had a suggestion for a possible card to add. How about Genesis? He seems fantastic for Damia in a recursive capacity.

Did you win that game? Everytime I have ever started off a multiplayer game that way without some sort of combo to win, I always painted a target on my head and lost. I personally would have grabbed senei's divining top since your mana was already pretty well developed for that stage in the game.
Though I have to say I love this deck. I played against a BG Sapling deck and most of the game I was behind. I even had a 10/10 Thrun beating my face in. So after a few things this years I have neglected my MTG stuff. Well I am back and I have solved the issues for the OP. I'm also working more on this primer. The deck is pretty much done. With nothing out of DKA that seemed to help this deck at all I am able to go back and pick up some things to power out this deck. I'm hoping to have the ABU duals and Mana Drain by the the end of summer.
Anyways the deck is really sweet. I honestly believe this is one of the best decks to run in the dark. And I believe this is easily one of the best Multiplayer generals you can run.
So now that I'm done with school and had my time off of everything I've gotten all the fetches and duals I needed. I also got a few other techs in. My meta turned grave based after a couple months I have been absent so right now I'm getting them back on track with Scavaging Ooze and a little more grave hate.
There is a BUNCH of test cards in here like Survival. So far I'm not a fan of it because I don't have the whole toolbox, I'm not running >25 creatures, and I'm not running Living Death. It looks like it is the next up on the chopping block. Tamiyo might be the next test card. But I don't want to slow the game down. Moxnix set me onto Mystic Remora So I will look into that. And not only that but if I drop my curve I can get Dark Confident.
I run a similar but more budget friendly versions and I was wondering if you'd ever considered running any seals in your deck
I personally run Seal of Doom, Seal of Primordium and Seal of Removal in my deck as well as Æther Spellbomb
They're great rattlesnake cards and being able to play them without having to use them straight away means that Damia can draw even more cards!

They are all ok. But I don't run them for a few reasons. They give up the surprise factor. It's not hard to play around them. And I run 5 1/2 (If you count Cryptic as a bounce spell) spot removal all which I believe are better by being more versitile (Putrefy, Beast Within) or efficient (Pongify). Then I have Venser and Jace to bounce, Gilded Drake to take control of the creatures. Then I have counters to prevent something too huge. Right now this deck should run about 8 counters but I cut them for now to test and see what to put in the missing spots. A little of it is a meta call because I play a few graveyard based decks that all run black and a few other black decks like Vish Kal, Kaalia, Sharrum, and Nicol Bolas.

Ramp/Acceleration [7]
1 Exploration - include something like Sunder or Deathcloud/Life from the loam with this, might consider cutting it.
1 Sol Ring
2 Nature's Lore
2 Grim Monolith - Mana Crypt seems better
4 Skyshroud Claim - should probably cut this
4 Solemn Simulacrum
6 Primeval Titan
Card Draw [9]
1 Brainstorm - cut it, you aren't combo
1 Preordain - cut it, you aren't combo
1 Ponder - cut it, you aren't combo
1 Sensei's Divining Top
2 Sylvan Library
2 Impulse - cut it
3 Necropotence
4 Jace, the Mind Scuptor
6 Consecrated Sphinx
Consider Phyrexian Arena
Spot Removal [9]
1 Pongify
2 Gilded Drake
3 Beast Within
3 Krosan Grip
3 Capsize
3 Maelstrom Pulse
3 Putrefy
5 Acidic Slime
8 Woodfall Primus
Mass Removal [5]
1 Nihil Spellbomb
3 Pernicious Deed
3 Oblivion Ring
4 Damnation
X Mind Twist - I wouldn't consider this mass removal, also, seems out of place. Perhaps consider Death Cloud
Counters [13] - If you aren't playing any combos, and aren't locking people out, and this is a multiplayer list, there's no need for this many counterspells. I'd cut at least 6-8 of these. Also, should probably use dessertion for the CA and amazing things it does.
0 Pact of Negation - cut this
2 Counterspell
2 Muddle the Mixture - cut this (you already have enough superior tutors anyways)
3 Dissipate - Use mana drain
3 Faerie Trickery - cut this
3 Forbid
3 Hinder
3 Spell Crumple
3 Voidslime
4 Glen Elendra Archmage
4 Rewind - cut this
4 Cryptic Command - might want to cut this
5 Force of Will
Tutor [7]
1 Vampiric Tutor
2 Demonic Tutor
2 Lim-Dul's Vault - Cut this, use Imperial Seal
4 Mystical Teachings - cut it
5 Primal Command - Bad card.
7 Tooth and Nail
X Green Sun's Zenith
Utility/Other [7]
1 Reanimate
2 Phantasmal Image
2 Snapcaster Mage
3 Eternal Witness
4 Phyrexian Metamorph
5 Seedborn Muse - cut this
11 Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

Am I missing spells here or are you playing 42 lands? The deck just seems kinda all over the place. In a multiplayer game, you won't have enough resources to go counter crazy. Just seems the more players, the worse the deck is with all those counters.
I assume the engine is Seedborn muse / Counters, and draw.
Anyways so the current changes which I am fairly confident in the decisions
-Mystical Teaching +Praetor's Grasp
-Primal Command +Trinket Mage
-Temple of the False God +Mox Diamond
And outside of that comes the couple choices I am not so sure with yet.
-Green Sun Zenith +Reassembling Skeleton
-Woodfall Primus +Skullclamp
Just another draw engine. And it seems to be fruitful on paper but I haven't gotten it in game yet. Thoughts?

Dismiss just seems bad.

yeah, I was thinking of dissipate, my bad....

Did you win that game? Everytime I have ever started off a multiplayer game that way without some sort of combo to win, I always painted a target on my head and lost. I personally would have grabbed senei's divining top since your mana was already pretty well developed for that stage in the game.

But these are the cards I'm looking to get in here for testing
Mystic Remora
Dark Confident
Mindslaver
Vendillion Clique
Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
Garruk Relentless
Garruk, Primal Hunter
