What you have to understand, Pancho, is that we don't have to believe that you are scum for you to get lynched. As several others explained before, it is to our advantage to lynch somebody before the day ends. That means even if nobody really stands out as scum, we still have to place our bets somewhere - and making a decision based on pedantic and indecisive clues is better than making a decision based on nothing at all.
I understand that... that's why I said "may my death help my team :D".
But even that seems "suspicious" (because it can apply for both teams).
Ok, well I'm not going to press anybody to vote, and I understand we are waiting on void. I guess the longer we drag it out and say things, the more information we will have to go on for Day 2, but I will pick up the dead Brofaux banner and admit that it can get tedious when stuff is not happening.
I'm on my hometown on vacations. Hopefully I will be able to post continously.
I hope this doesn't get detected as "suspicious".
I will analyze who are pushing really hard to lynch me, who are doing it subtly, who are neutral and who are against that (me! :p). The way they do it, it's the only info we have.
Now that brofaux has been modkilled, the issue of no lynch becomes a serious discussion. Dies anyone have opinions for or against the possibility of a no lynch vote?
Pancho has been acting suspiciously, but GM pushing at Pancho so hard makes me a bit uneasy. Basically, the only person I'd consider voting for at this stage is PanchoPonceN, but GM, CC and ME I'll all be keeping an oculus on.
To be honest, I'm still not convinced, but, there is a good bit of momentum heading in Pancho's direction. Making a vote for another player would only succeed in making the voter look suspicious, if I'm reading things right.
Don't worry, Pancho, if you are indeed town, we will be getting a generous amount of information from your death, and you can continue to watch the thread to see how your friends are doing. You turning out to be town would surely be coloring my next vote.
That's entirely fair, Oculus, I know speaking up is dangerous too, but I do feel Pancho is mafia and that we aren't going to get much better info on Day 1. We'll see how the night goes after that, if I'm still around we should have more to go on.
Although Pancho is suspicious, and even though his lynching will yield rewards for us regardless of his allegiance, I'd still rather everybody be present before a consensus is reached. Has void turned up yet?
At this point it's extremely likely that void is going to get replaced/modkilled today, I think. We shouldn't be waiting much longer now, no matter what happens.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
Well, if void's slot is going to remain vacant, I have no issue lynching now. But if somebody is going to fill his shoes, I'd rather them be here before the day is through. (Rhymes!) Seems to me like we're wasting an opportunity to obtain potentially vital information.
Having said that, I do understand that waiting is fun for nobody. If the game-runner-dude could make a decision sometime soon, that would be radical, otherwise I'll begrudgingly cast my ticket so we can get this show on the road.
That's not an obviously scum claim, like when Brofaux claimed to be town Harkius in chat. What does anybody else want to do?
If he is mafia and is claiming town, then lynching him is good. And if he does turn out to be a regular townie, then it's certainly better than going for someone else and risk lynching a power role. I still want to wait for void_nothing or his replacement, but at this point I'm going to vote for Pancho.

I'm sorry, but no matter how rational the logic may seem, I'm not fully comfortable with how quickly this wagon has gotten rolling. Vanilla claim is still suspicious. I'd like to hear more from pancho before I vote anything. He looks more suspicious than anyone else at this point, but if he flips town, I know I'm going back over his first accusers' posts.
Don't expect me to post a lot, people. I only took this spot to prevent a necessary modkill.
Reading through the thread, that is a ridiculous amount of pressure on Pancho. He's almost certainly going to be lynched, and if he is a townie, it's not a very good start. The pressure might be warranted, but it just feels like everyone is riding momentum.
I'll Vote PanchoPonceN because I can see the reason in it, but if it turns out we screwed up I'm going to be annoyed and watching GM very carefully. Him and probably Oculus; they seem to be the ones pushing for it (because of scummery? Experience?). I sort of understand Meg's experience check now. What happened with that, anyway? Did we get derailed by Pancho's suspicious reply? In any case, I've never played.

I'm wary of this, too. I know Gerrard's Mom's experience dwarfs my own, and his logic is solid, but I can't help but feel he's forcing himself into a ringleader position which affords him more influence than I want anybody to have, scum or otherwise.
Again, I've stated my reasons for trying to take lead, one being that Pancho's initial entries felt much like the scum mindset that I had playing mod mafia, another being that it's fine if the scum are after me, and another being that I think I can provide decent analysis. I have heard the position I am trying to take on referred to as "town crier," although I'm not that inclined to do huge post by post analyses of the kind that I have seen others do.
Also CC, I'm hardly more experienced than anyone else at this, I've only played two days and a night in the mod mafia before I got lynched, but I had a good idea of what was going on before that happened and only got killed because I followed bad advice from an "experienced" player. That's probably why I want to take the lead here, so that any mistakes I make are my own. That said, it's perfectly reasonable to read that the other way and say that we shouldn't listen to what I'm saying. So I'm open to everyone's opinions, but the only major scum sense I have at this point is for Pancho, so I will keep my vote there. Remember that we need to bold votes for them to count, I'm not sure if Oculus was intending to vote or just state that he will vote later.
To Vishamon and Balefire: what would like me to say? I think I've said enough to defend me, and I already role-claimed. If you ask me more specific questions, I will gladly answer them.
Remember that we need to bold votes for them to count, I'm not sure if Oculus was intending to vote or just state that he will vote later.
I was going to wait for Lanxal to post a bit more, but at this point there seems to be too much momentum towards Pancho. Might as well get it over with and Vote PanchoPonceN.
Not Voting: Megiddo, CC, Vishamon, Balefire, PanchoPonceN
PanchoPonceN's POV
When the club suddenly stops, you step back incredulously. I mean, it's only just a casual custom card contest, right? That moderator banning must be an error, not real. Pressingchess must be unbanned soon. Well, Brofaux got banned, but he broke a major rule, so it made sense that he would be banned.
"C'mon, guys! This isn't seriously or anything, right?"
Their faces tell you the answer. They aren't joking at all. They all have silent, maybe sorrowful faces. Rithaniel sheds a quick tear.
"Well, Pancho, we all still love you, you know. I mean, you're an incredibly skilled card designer. But why would you betray us..?"
"I didn't! I'm with you guys!"
"What guys? Us, or the backstabbers?" Rithaniel says solemnly.
You realize your mistake, and you immediately shut up. You realize someone flashes a quick smile from the crowd - a smile that says, "Good bye, Pancho."
"It's hi--", you get cut off. Lanxal suddenly strikes you with a switchblade. "Sorry, Pancho, but the majority believes that you are the betrayers. And the only way to find out is for you to kick the bucket."
"No!"
You dash out of the club in a anxious manner, ready to never venture into the Club again. It's going to be hard, but hey, you have the Standard, Limited, and Water Cooler forum to keep venturing on. Heck, you even have the Spanish thread in the Speakeasy.
You keep running for an hour, covering many miles. You attempt to sprint across this wide road, you see a truck coming toward you. It's Oculus, you say in your mind. You know that the road it too large for you to sprint, yet you can't stay in the middle of the road - Oculus's truck is heading straight toward you. You get ready to head back when the truck flashes a large light. "I'm the deer in the headlights," you think. PanchoPonceN is dead.
POV out
You find Pancho's body in the yellow tracks of the road, blood astrew. "It's a dirty job, but someone has to play the executioner." Oculus says. You examine his body, but no one can get an idea who he was. "Time to call a Global," Gerrard's Mom says, and they quickly bring the body to Galspanic.
Galspanic examines the body, then reports his findings on the Currently Suspended/Banned List:

The first day, two townies dead. You all retire to your apartments, as this long, long night won't help you in the morning, and you all are able to sleep despite witnessing cold murder.
It is now Night 1. Please do not post until Day 2 begins.
Night actions have been resolved. Day 2 will not start until tomorrow.
The next morning, you all go to work. In the evening, it's Club Flamingo. You all log in to find out that a critical part of the team is missing.
Megiddo appears to have posted this card:

All players will either place two cards or half the sum of four or less cards rounded up from their hands on top of their library. If a player has no cards in his/her hand then a randomly chosen opponent of that player with no hand will scry 7 with that player's library instead. Otherwise all players would then discard their remaining hand, scry 3 and draw 5 cards.
Cycling; :symb::symb:, discard this card: All players must discard X cards from their hand then scry X. Where X equals half the sum of the amount of cards rounded up in the player's hand.
When you cycle Illusional Fears all players draw X when the cycling resolves in play.

[18:19] <+Rith> okay
[18:19] <+Rith> so this is very serious
[18:20] <+Rith> So I was driving to work
[18:21] <+Rith> When I found that Megiddo's house was unlocked

[18:22] <+Rith> And Megiddo was dead on the floor
[18:22] <+Rith> His head looked to be severed
[18:23] <+Rith> and there was blood everywhere
With alarm, you all go to Megiddo's house. It was clear someone had murdered him. Dried blood was everywhere, and the cause of death seemed to be of multiple neck stabbings. There is a letter opener somewhere off by the side of Megiddo's dead body. But who was the murderer?
Megiddo is dead.
Someone phones rianalnn, the local administrator in the neighborhood, and, after a few minutes, says this.

Megiddo has been murdered and banned from the forums, as a dead user isn't of much help. Please say a silent prayer to Megiddo, as he was a young but strong moderator that was very dear to us. Here is what we have gotten from our detective work:

Megiddo, you are: Gerrard's Mom – [Town Cop]
As a fellow moderator of CCC&G, your goal is to find the scum of Club Flamingo, and smite them in your moderator-ness. Due to you being a moderator, you can look up their IP and see if they are truly what they claim to be.
Abilities:
a. You may vote.
b. During Night, you may PM the moderator the name of a person. You will be revealed who that player's alignment is.
Win Condition: You win when all non-town players are banned from Club Flamingo.
Please confirm via PM that you have received the role.
You all look at each other in solemn sadness. However, there is a grip of hope. Another day, another lynch - and hopefully, that lynch will be used on the hands of the guilty.
Ok, my instinct didn't work out very well on Day 1. Pancho's claim was fairly believable, I guess I should have backed off at that point, but he came in pretty scummy looking, probably just because of his newbiness. My read on this kill is that the scum are smarter than I thought, and I have a suspicion of what their strategy might be today.
If anybody's still willing to listen to my analysis, I think Oculus looks suspicious at this point, his first post today doesn't seem like a typical Oculus reaction, I think he's overreacting to hide his suspiciousness. Have to look at Day 1 some more I suppose. At this rate, the scum could just lurk out the rest of the game
