Is it WIFOM to point out how retarded that particular claim would be for me to make up if it weren't true? It's not like I had people jumping all over me. I seriously considered making something innocuous up, but then I figured what the heck.
I do consider myself more town than mafia, simply because the mafia have no real incentive to keep me alive. As far as they're concerned, anyone who dies who is not them is good news. So I wouldn't expect any of them to come leaping to my defense.
Crippled Fist is almost guaranteed 100% scum. I'll give you guys that one . Rhinocero is right up there too.
I seriously doubt there are 4 more mafia, just because of me and Chamber's possible flippiness. There were likely 4 to start with (I think I said that before somewhere.)

I'm ready to lynch wolg. Its bad if he continues to hit town, which he may, even if he is trying to hit scum. I'm on the fence with AS not claiming, he could be a GF right?
It's possible, but fade was described as "mafia leader", which is usually the GF.
If it comes down to the last handful of players whoever's alive should certainly get a claim from AS just to be sure, but in this position we seem to have enough suspicion to go on with.
Personally, I'm pretty positive JCS is mafia because Matjoeman died. Hawkeye was able to protect Matjoeman during the day. The doctor wasn't. I don't understand why this would be.
Still, I would recommend, JCS, that you protect me tonight. If I am hit with an ability and do not die, we'll accept you as the doctor. If I'm not hit with an ability, we'll assume you're lying.
Vote WOLG. 3 people that I'm fairly certain are not mafia are already voting for him. If the mafia really wanted him dead, he'd already have been speedlynched.
HR- There's other reasons to consider that JCS may be mafia (mostly his jumping from target to target of opportunity), but in fairness why should both he and Hawkeye do day protection? One day bodyguard against the daykiller, one night doc against the mafia and (potentially) LJustus.
Actually, maybe it's suspicious because it makes too much sense. Nothing else in this game has.
I don't know who I'll protect tonight. I am not going to disclose my target tonight in the hopes of finding out if my infoless night was due to something done to Matjoeman or something done to me. Raf, you get to watch me tonight again...
* draygn_mage looks forward to another night in the dark...

How in the one paragraph you:
-Say you won't say who you'll "protect" but then
-Try to direct who I watch
is beyond me.
+1 suspicion on DM, like I needed more. He may be the last scum to go down, but once we've disposed of WOLG and whichever (or both?) of CF and Axelrod is the scum, the torchlight of scrutiny is going right back where it belongs (in the event of my death, I hope someone else takes up the cause!).
DM, whether or not I watch you or someone else is my own business.
Based on the discussion I've seen, it sounds like the town wants me to clear myself. Therefore, I will protect Highroller tonight.
DM should protect whoever he thinks is the most likely target. Raf should watch someone he thinks is mafia. Neither of them should reveal their target.

I'm far from convinced this is the best lynch for the town. But, then again, I guess I shouldn't really care about that, should I. As long as it's not me....
Vote: WOLG
If he's really SK, and there are 4 mafia left, the town might just lose straight up tomorrow. But I guess we'll see.

Last night, I wrote something about how WoLG is definitely not the SK, unless the SK didn't kill the cop. I know this for a fact, based on the timing of the posts.
Somehow, it didn't get posted, and now he's dead.
I guess we'll see if this was a good decision or not.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.
'Welcome to Mafia Salvation', it said, 'Population: 3,660.' And someone, they never figured out who, had painted on the sign in red letters: '1,831 to lynch.'
Thunder rolls as the town gathers around WoLG. The lightning casts long, ominous shadows across the floor, and casts a hungry glint in the eyes of the mob. WoLG stands alone in the center of the circle, his body obscured by a long trench coat and a hood across his face.
Draygn_mage is the first to act. He rushes at WoLG from behind, only to be mule-kicked into the wall. Rafaelk strikes next, but his punch is caught mid-swing, and WoLG uses his momentum to send him flying into the crowd, where he collides with Rhinocero and Crippled_Fist and bears them to the floor.
Carrion Pigeons and Chamber attack in tandem, vainly struggling to get a hold on him and wrestle him to the ground, but he slips through their grasp like a wraith, and delivers a solid blow to the back of their heads. Aurorasparrow and JCSuperstar attempt to flee the room, seeking to take no part in this fight, and WoLG sends a pair of shurikens flying after them to speed their retreat. The shurikens land in the door of the meeting hall with solid thunk, and Aurorasparrow and JCSuperstar disappear through them without a second glance.
Axelrod, Highroller, and WoLG are the only ones left standing. Highroller retrieves the bottle that Fadeblue discarded the day before, and breaks it in half, holding it ready. Axelrod hefts one of the chairs, and they circle him cautiously.
Highroller moves to his back, and sends the bottle spinning at his melon. But WoLG's senses are too finely tuned. His right hand comes arching back to block it, and the bottle shatters upon it with a loud crack, as if it collided with something metal. Axelrod moves in the with chair, swinging wildly, but WoLG simply accepts the blow on his arm, and counter-punches Axelrod in the chest. Axelrod stumbles back, his arm attempting to staunch the bleeding from two wicked puncture wounds.
But the rest of the town is already back on their feet. They surround WoLG once again. Draygn_Mage smiles coldly. "Together this time."
Moving as one, the town converges on WoLG. He fights desperately, striking hard and fast, making every hit count, but he is overcome by the sheer weight of his attackers. He is pinned on the floor, and the town pummels and kicks his body until he stops moving, then reduces him to a bloody pulp for good measure.
But a number of the town is nursing bloody knuckles and broken toes by the time the deed is finished. For WoLG was wearing quite a bit of metal armor underneath his trench coat. In fact, he reminds you of a can opener, covered as he is in pointed, sharp protrusions, complete with wicked double claws on each arm. Claws that are deeply stained with blood both old and new. And finally, you uncover another letter:
"S., it has come to my attention that your ambitions may be clouding your judgment. I have heard whispers of struggle and discontent within your cell, distractions that could prove fatal to your upcoming mission. If I find that petty power struggles are the undoing of your group, rest assured that I will track down all those responsible, and deal with them. Of course, if you succeed, then you will be justly rewarded, in due time.
-WQ"
With the discovery of the letter, WoLG's true allegiance seems obvious. With a small sigh of relief, you return to your rooms. You still stand upon a precipice, where even the slightest misstep could prove fatal, but today you have won a victory, and bought yourself a little more time.

Night 5 has begun. The deadline for Night actions is Saturday, February 5, at 2:00 P.M. EST.
In a controversial move today, Highroller has officially proclaimed himself Caesar of all of Basin City.
“This entire city is corrupted by evil despots. The people we put our faith in to moderate the games we run are nothing more than murderers and thieves. The time has come to put our faith in a leader who will watch out for the people. I am that leader!” Highroller declared recently.
Highroller’s first act after being instated into office is to “drive the hated criminals who infest our streets out of the city and straight to the gallows.” Afterward, Highroller intends to play a round of racketball before dealing on to other pressing matters.
“I just don’t think there’s enough opportunities in this country for people to ‘Hail Caesar’,” said Highroller when interviewed, “The citizens need to know that they are encouraged to openly pledge their unwaivering loyalty and support."
The night slowly fades away, but the storm shows no signs of relenting. The leaks in the roof have widened, and the basement is flooded up to the waist. Everything is quickly becoming wet and miserable.
At the morning gathering, everyone is thoroughly drenched. No one seems to have gotten much sleep, either. Add in discomfort from the wounds most of you are still nursing after the confrontation with WoLG yesterday evening, and you have a recipe for a very gloomy morning.
The absence of yet another person during the morning head count does little to improve your mood.
Before too long, you discover that Chamber is missing. But there is no trace of violence or confrontation in his room. The door was simply left ajar, and the two beds in the room (one for Chamber, and the one previously vacated by Sorryguy), are each empty and unused. Any small traces of blood that would have been on the floor have been lost to the rain. You continue your search.
Just before you were about to give up, Aurorasparrow volunteers to check the basement one last time. He wades through the water, searching for any clues of what might have happened, when his foot suddenly bumps into something beneath the surface.
Chamber's remains. You pull them onto the steps leading down into the basement, and examine him. Expertly tied up with ropes. Minor lacerations all over his body, as if he was sliced by a knife. Sliced up exactly in the places it would hurt him the most. The work of a real pro. Plenty of bruises, as well. In the end, you'd guess it was a deep stab-wound to his gut that finished him. Then they weighed him down with bricks and tossed him into the water, for good measure.
You stifle a shudder. These are ruthless men you're facing. You can only hope that you're able to find them before they find you...

I think we can safely say there is a mafia role-blocker out there as I got no results again last night.
Either that or you're a liar, but yeah the existence of a role-blocker isn't one of the hardest assumptions to make.
I think that there are worse night results we could have had, honestly, but this isn't the best anyway. Would someone who's been keeping up with it more than I am run the numbers?
Also, what do we make of last night's article? Is it something obvious and I'm just being dense (that's probably it... =/)? Or is it some attempt to make us think he's scum or town?
What are our ideas on potential scum for today (besides me )?
Aurorasparrow: ?, ? (but cleared by mjm)
Draygn_Mage: Miho, retaliation bodyguard
JCSsuperstar: "Lucille", effectively a doc
Carrion Pigeons: ?, roleblocker
RafaelK: Casey Jones, watcher
HighRoller: April O'Neill, self-watcher+reporter
Rhinocero: old geezer, vote-forcer
Crippled_Fist: Street Bum, nightkill immune if doesn't vote
Axelrod: some evil character (claimed neutral, which is starting to get ridiculous), limited nightkill immunities
@Highroller- what happened last night?
@carrion- who did you roleblock last night? What is the flavor of your roleblock?
Well, this makes me seriously doubt the validity of our Salesman's note, which puts more suspicion on draygn_mage.
Quote from draygn_mage »
@Highroller- what happened last night?
Good question.
I found JCSuperstar waiting outside my door throughout the night. This is similar to when I found RafaelK waiting outside my door during the first night. As you can see, I'm not dead, so he must have some kind of night ability that doesn't kill people. This, in itself, does not clear him. However, I'm pretty set on him not being mafia.
What confuses me is why the mafia didn't target him? Strange.
I don't know. The only thing I can come up with is that their trying to make me look scummy for getting no results again. Or, they were afraid I'd outguess them and watch over their intended kill. Since they knew JCS was going to protect HR, they didn't have to deal with him. I was a wild card last night and so I got the block. (Remember, if they attack me, I take one of them with me.) More likely than not, they think the town will do their work for them and lynch me.
The problem with that though, is that I have already proven I have an ability by killing fayul on accident. carrion claims he didn't roleblock me night before last, and rafaelk confirmed that I didn't a PM from the mod night before last. Judging by the number of neutrals, I would have to agree with HR and say we only have 2 scum left. If one of them was busy role-blocking me, then the other one had to make the kill. If I was role-blocked, then I obviously didn't make the kill. I hope that rafaelK either watched me last night and can confirm I didn't get a PM (and hence didn't make the kill) or managed to watch scum. Either way, YAY for me for not being scum.
EBWODP- so Raf was on and looking at this thread for a good 5 mins (to read 6 or 7 posts and couldn't be bothered to speak up??? Come on people, just post your info as you show up. What was so hard about posting who you watched yesterday and what you saw?
Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
Well, as he said "+1 Scumminess" for reading the thread and not posting anything. makes me think you have to wait till your partner shows up so you can figure out what to say to my post...
Still think it's best I withhold until people have admitted to doing stuff or not; I want some incentive for people to tell the truth. If the scum who did the kill was planning on saying they did nothing, well.... do you feel lucky, punk? Alternately, I might have seen nothing from someone who's about to say/did say they did something. We shall see.
draygn, same roleblock? The "fizzled" one? It's odd (to me anyhow) the way that never appeared until it started happening to you. I dunno, was there someone inactive on the first couple of days who got replaced? Or maybe you're full of it. Eye remains on you.
Nonetheless, short of something amazing coming out, I think we're probably going to start today where we left off yesterday- one of CF and Axel (or perhaps Rhino) has the weakest claim.
CF- ability can't really be tested by us easily and doesn't prove anything if it does. Nightkill protection (especially conditional night protection) is fairly common for mafia and SK alike, and could even come attached to a second ability. Hasn't claimed a sin city or ninja turtle character name either, just a generic (despite earlier kinda sorta hinting he did have a character name).
Axel- has claimed an unsavory sin city character but doesn't want to tell us who. Has claimed neutral who can win with any side. Has also claimed a limited protection-from-night-abilities. In his favour, who'd claim like that voluntarily? Against that, that's WIFOM and also might be a scum banking that we figure we can't afford to lynch anyone but the SK or a mafia.
Rhino- claimed to be able to force people to vote for someone up to three times a game, and since we know someone can do that and no-one's counterclaimed, it probably is him, and it's shall we say more likely to be a town ability than a scum one? Has also claimed a generic name rather than a character name.
Because Rhino's ability is perhaps more proved than the other two, and less likely to be mafia or SK, I'm more inclined to look at CF and Axelrod to begin.
I can't get past the point that their claimed abilities are so similar, one of them almost must be either lying or scum. Axelrod's claim (and his refusal to name names) is dodgy. CF was kinda maybe possible caught in a lie by CropCircles and his response was not fully convincing.
A remaining mafia of CF and DM and Axelrod as SK would suit me down to the ground, but somehow I doubt we're going to get it quite that easy. Still, ultimately there's enough checkable abilities left that we should be able to catch a last mafia out once they're forced to do the kill every night.
Interesting thing will be to see if we really have a daykiller. Shredder's PM sounds like he might have had a role of keeping other mafia in line. Several of the daykills sounded like shredder. The only one that didn't was the poison one- ironically, the one that Shredder claimed to have done, and the one that was of a mafia. Of course, cp's evidence is that WOLG wasn't on when matjoeman was killed, but it could easily have been a delayed thing. If Shredder was the daykiller, it could be that the poison was one of us (AS, if it was you, it might be a good time to admit to it- and if you can do it again, it might be a good day for it). If that's so, we may have no more daykills after all.
Alternately, if there's a daykiller after all- vote Vecna Reborn
And if that doesn't work, I intend to follow up (or have some of you help out by following up) voting a few other suspects who aren't in the game, to see if they're here. Or just trying to do Vote Kevin.
We've already seen Az hid himself in this game- my theory is Az might have been in as a counterbalance to another hidden player.
There's simply too many unexplained abilities around and too few people to own them. There's only one player left who hasn't had to claim an ability, after all, and that player is a confirmed townie so they can't be the owner of some of this stuff. It might simplify things (!!) if there was another hidden player out there to be the SK.
Raf, I'll just about go insane if your vote on Vecna works. That would pretty much blow my mind.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Surely you're not suggesting that the mafia performed most of the daykills in addition to the nightkills? That would be a ridiculously powerful mafia.
I say we go after the scummy people who are IN the game. Vote: Crippled_Fist. For an explanation, see my long post yesterday.

I'm a mathematics postdoc researching evolution and complex systems. Learn about these ideas here!
Before last night, I was a miller. I had the ability to get rid of the disadvantage by being the 2nd-4th vote on a lynched mafia member, which means I am no longer a miller. One way or the other, it hardly matters now, though, since it doesn't look like there's a cop who can clear me completely.
You can check my voting record; I have made a special effort throughout the game to place my votes where they would count. I'm mildly surprised that this never attracted much suspicion, but I guess we've had more significant leads at every point in the game so far.
The flavor of my roleblock is that I trap players and tie them up overnight.
At the very least, I would like Axelrod to name claim before I do. If AS isn't totally opposed to revealing his name as well (since he obviously won't give up his ability), I'd like to see that happen, too. Axelrod has put himself into a category of names that's probably pretty small, and I don't think he expected to have to worry about counterclaims. As it happens, I have a rather "inconvenient" role name as well, and I want to hear what it is.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.

Assuming you are still alive, it would most behoove you to attempt to kill a mafia member today. May I suggest Crippled_Fist and/or Rhinocero?
Also, and this is neither here nor there, but Aurrorasparrow has given the town nothing all game. He says "role-claiming" would help the mafia and hurt the town, but I'm honestly wondering how that could be. Normally you'd think "unkillable" or something like that to explain him not wanting to tip off the mafia, but even if that is it, he really ought to say at this point. It certainly doesn't seem like he's got any useful information, that's for sure. So how much could it hurt?
Personal opinion.

All right I think at this point it would be a good idea for Axelrod to name claim. We can follow that with carrion pigeons. Then aurora sparrow. Anyone else disagree?
Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that at least one of Axelrod and C_F are scum.
There are then 4 possibilities. Either there are three mafia left, and C_F is scum, there are 3 mafia left and Axel is scum, there are two mafia left and C_F is scum, or there are two mafia left and Axel is scum.
Evidence tends to suggest that there are likely to be only two mafia left. This is debatable, but, going with that assumption for a moment, I don't think C_F can be mafia in that case. We had both a roleblock and a kill last night, which were most likely performed by two players. If there are only two mafia, and C_F was roleblocked, then he shouldn't have been able to do anything, and either the 'block or the kill should have been prevented.
Possible reasons why this wouldn't work: C_F is untargetable. The other mafia did both actions. Umm, something else I can't predict?
Despite those possibilities, though, I think this makes me more suspicious of Axel than of C_F ATM.
If there are three mafia including C_F, then all the above scenarios still work, plus I might just have gotten unlucky, too. C_F would still be scum, though (this would be a bad scenario if we decided to lynch Axel).
If Axel is mafia, it also doesn't preclude C_F from being mafia, but it does make it much less likely, statistics-wise, especially if we believe there to be only 2 mafia left.
As far as I can tell, Axel doesnt really have any evidence to make us believe he isn't mafia. As one of the more prominent players on the site, he has nevertheless apparently failed to be targeted since Night 1, at all, by anyone. Admittedly, he's been flying under the radar all game, but that hardly makes him look better, does it? Not least because it's so out of character for him.
Add to that the fact that he has an unproven ability (that should have been confirmed by now, by someone), and a roleclaim that would presumably be scummy if he would ever admit what it is, and I think we have ourselves a very good target.
Mr. Daykiller, if you would like to kill him off for us, I think he's probably your best bet. Otherwise, I'm not seeing anyway for someone else to top his level of suspicion, and we should have our lynch.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.

4 mafia out of 24 players seems too little to me. I think there are 3 left, plus the SK. Mafia should go first, since even if they outnumber us the mafia can't win while the SK's alive (right?).
Why can't CF be SK and Axel mafia, or vice versa? In that case, roleblocking the SK is worthless.
Axelrod: you realize youve contributed pretty much nothing as well, right? And no, I can't even reveal my name.
I had something else to say but I forgot. vote axelrod
Guys, you realize that lynching me is just as bad for you as lynching a townie. The mafia certainly realize this. They may not have any reason to go after me at night, but during the day, I'm an easy pick to pressure.
Mr. Daykiller, I hope you too realize that killing me would not advance your cause at all.

You realize this particular point makes no sense. If I haven't been targeted by townies all game, how does that make me more likely to be scum? If the mafia haven't decided to kill me, it's precisely because I've been playing like a boob. And there have always been better targets.
You saying my ability is "unproven" is also silly. I "know" no one did anything to me last night. I "know" the same about the other night I hid. If anyone did anything to me any other night (watching, investigating, etc.), well, I don't know about it, but they ought to know I didn't kill anyone those nights.
Maybe I missed something, but DM has claimed to have been blocked, and CF has claimed to have blocked Crippled Fist, is that right? Raf. watched "someone's" PMs. And Aurorasparrow isn't talking, though he has nothing useful to give us either. Just checking.
Obviously, I meant CP blocked CF in that above comment.
It's not like I didn't announce what I waas going to do yesterday. Anyone who wanted to "check me out" could have done so. How is that my fault again?

I'm lying about no one from the town targeting me? Good lie that.
Remind me what you have done for the town this game again? You didn't even vote for WOLG. You been carried by that Cop inspection all game as far as I can tell. If not for that, you'd have been strung up long ago, or at least forced to claim. No one would have let you get away with what you're doing now.
Not that I really care, you understand. But if I did care, that's what I'd be wondering.

Why should anybody realize this? It isn't like we have any reason to believe your claim.
Quote from Axelrod »
It's not like I didn't announce what I was going to do yesterday. Anyone who wanted to "check me out" could have done so. How is that my fault again?
It isn't, but it certainly doesn't make you look any better. The fact is that there's a lot of mystery around you, and that there doesn't seem to be a lot of reason for that mystery. It arouses suspicion, in my mind.

@ The thread as a whole - I think it is probably worth it to get a name claim from Axelrod (keeping in mind that we shouldn't place that much importance on it) and a partial claim of SOME sort (ability or at least name) from AS. At this point in the game, I don't think hiding info is that necesarry.
Also, I'm sorta suspicious of JCSuperstar - there's been strong intimations that there is no doc or that the doc is dead, and he's acted a mite suspicious. However, he's obviously not the lynch target today.
Name-claim Axelrod. You know we have no reason to trust you already. Why should we let you get away with withholding information?
CF's failure to surface yet today, coinciding with the lack of daykill so far today, is interesting and setting off alarm bells. Only one not to post yet today I think.
Given the case against him already, and given that we've already got his claim, I'm minded to urge a rapid lynch of him to beat the kill. I doubt we'd get the votes in time, but it's worth considering. The case against him is probably as good as it's going to get.
FWIW, since everyone else has shown up and I'd like to get it out before I die, CF did not get a mod PM last night. This would be consistent with his claim, and (for that matter) with dm's claim that he only got his pm saying he'd been roleblocked once day had started. Obviously he can't be the member of the mafia who did last night's kill, but the odds are rather good he's the daykiller. vote Crippled Fist in the meantime.
I hate doing this because I know its gonna come back to bite me in the butt, but vote aurorasparrow.
Axelrod has some pressure on him to claim his name, and after he does so, I want some info from aurora. These damn roleblocks are coming from somewhere and they're starting to piss me off (no doubt what they were designed to do).
What, pray tell, are you hoping to get out of having me name-claim anyway? Are you under the impression that it is going to help you "evaluate" my claim? I've already said it's a scummy name. What are you going to do when I say it. Say "Yep. Scummy."
I swear, if I do "name-claim" and I hear people start saying "oh, man, he's got to be scum with a name like that," I'll shoot myself.
I'm fairly resigned to this, but I have one other reason to keep it back, which is the (remote) possibility that someone has it in for me personally this game. LJustus had a "hit-list" and while my name was not one of the one's he claimed was on it, he might have been lying. I wouldn't put it past the mod. to have someone else in the game out for me. I have no role-based info. for thinking that, except LJustus' role and flavor reasons.
Does anyone have a list of claims along with claimed night actions for the whole game? Normally I'd have done such a thing myself, but I haven't for obvious reasons. I strongly suspect that certain things could be figured out if people went back and looked at everything as a whole. There have got to be inconsistencies.

I'm pretty sure either Axelrod or CF is will be today's lynch, and they basically each have to convince us that the other one is more scummy. Axel's name claim seems like a good way to start.
About aurorasparrow: I'm a little afraid to speculate on him for fear of giving info to scum. However, I was trying to think of named Sin City characters who
a) Are on the good or at least neutral side,
b) Have not been claimed/revealed to be another player in this game,
c) Have an ability that the mafia shouldn't know about, and
d) The ability would be clear enough from just the role name that the mafia would be able to guess the ability.
I can't think of anyone who would fit all those points. There aren't even very many who fit both (a) and (b).
Obviously, if you think of a possibility, you shouldn't necessarily reveal it. Keep the town's interests in mind. And AS, let me know if I've mischaracterized you.

I suspect the only serious chance I ever had this game was a Cop investigating me and confirning that I'm "Neutral."
There are like a bazilion name I could have said to look less bad, The game has generic role-names in it. I could have made something up easy (for reference: see Crippled Fist + Rhino's claims: hell, I'm smart enough to come up with something better than that)
But it's hard to get invested.

This could also be the biggest WIFOM in the world, Axel. And you're smart enough to try it. It's still a "you got to believe me, why would I make this up?", though.
As it happens, I'm willing enough to buy it for one day minimum, since I'm more concerned about CF.
I suspect the only serious chance I ever had this game was a Cop investigating me and confirning that I'm "Neutral."

I am currently thinking that you are telling the truth here - for one thing, the argument that is admittedly a WIFOM; for another, from what I vaguely know about SC, that sounds like the kinda role that could work that way. there was another reason too but I forgot.
In any case, I believe your telling the truth here, and thus shouldn't be lynched.
Also, I sorta doubt that you're on anyone's "list" - since then that would be one of your win conditions. Which would be muy weird. Maybe you should commit suicide just on the off chance of winning!
Most people think CF is the next logical target which makes sense since roleblocker is often a mafia role (Sorry if he's not the roleblocker; I think axelrod's idea about a big ol' list is a good one [I claimed Ex-Con Geezer, 3 times per day can put an extra vote on someone, used ability once, no night actions thus far]), but then again we ourselves have no other roleblocker. Behavior analysis suggests scum, but again, I think that might be faulty (his original statement - concern about mass breaking vis a vis comic-specific non-generic roles - doesn't neccesarily mean that he has a comic-specific non-generic role himself). However, I think that just the eagerness to be cleared by claiming a generic title is somewhat scummy in and of itself. Is there any other behavioral analysis saying he's scum?

I do consider myself more town than mafia, simply because the mafia have no real incentive to keep me alive. As far as they're concerned, anyone who dies who is not them is good news. So I wouldn't expect any of them to come leaping to my defense.
Crippled Fist is almost guaranteed 100% scum. I'll give you guys that one . Rhinocero is right up there too.
I seriously doubt there are 4 more mafia, just because of me and Chamber's possible flippiness. There were likely 4 to start with (I think I said that before somewhere.)

Actually, maybe it's suspicious because it makes too much sense. Nothing else in this game has.

DM, whether or not I watch you or someone else is my own business.
DM should protect whoever he thinks is the most likely target. Raf should watch someone he thinks is mafia. Neither of them should reveal their target.

With the discovery of the letter, WoLG's true allegiance seems obvious. With a small sigh of relief, you return to your rooms. You still stand upon a precipice, where even the slightest misstep could prove fatal, but today you have won a victory, and bought yourself a little more time.

Night 5 has begun. The deadline for Night actions is Saturday, February 5, at 2:00 P.M. EST.
Highroller Officially Declared Caesar

Crippled_Fist: Street Bum, nightkill immune if doesn't vote
Axelrod: some evil character (claimed neutral, which is starting to get ridiculous), limited nightkill immunities
@Highroller- what happened last night?
@carrion- who did you roleblock last night? What is the flavor of your roleblock?
Well, this makes me seriously doubt the validity of our Salesman's note, which puts more suspicion on draygn_mage.
Strange.

6. Axelrod
7. Draygn Mage
8. Crippled_Fist
9. Rhinocero (replacing Einsteinmonkey)
Odds are our remaining two are in there.
Draygn: Why wouldn't the mafia roleblock JCSuperstar?
@CP- WHO did you block last night?
Town/Mafia/Other - 14/6/3
Win/Lose/Tie - 11/12/0
Nk/lynched/Survived - 16/4/3
I didn't watch you dm. I'd rather not spill before everyone has, so the killer doesn't know whether or not he's safe to claim he did nothing.
Alternately, if there's a daykiller after all-
vote Vecna Reborn
Everyone already knows what I did last night.
I targeted C_F last night.

I'm happy to wait for your nameclaim, though.

Why can't CF be SK and Axel mafia, or vice versa? In that case, roleblocking the SK is worthless.
Axelrod: you realize youve contributed pretty much nothing as well, right? And no, I can't even reveal my name.
I had something else to say but I forgot. vote axelrod

Remind me what you have done for the town this game again? You didn't even vote for WOLG. You been carried by that Cop inspection all game as far as I can tell. If not for that, you'd have been strung up long ago, or at least forced to claim. No one would have let you get away with what you're doing now.
Not that I really care, you understand. But if I did care, that's what I'd be wondering.
Why should anybody realize this? It isn't like we have any reason to believe your claim.
It isn't, but it certainly doesn't make you look any better. The fact is that there's a lot of mystery around you, and that there doesn't seem to be a lot of reason for that mystery. It arouses suspicion, in my mind.
EBWODP: Oh yeah.
Vote Axelrod. I wanted to hear your name claim.

"What if...what if we've been fighting the wrong enemy all along. What if the war we thought we were fighting, was ultimately pointless. What if we are merely the toys of an omnipotent, omniscient being, who is watching us with a sense of twisted pleasure, and preying on us at will.
Axelrod has some pressure on him to claim his name, and after he does so, I want some info from aurora. These damn roleblocks are coming from somewhere and they're starting to piss me off (no doubt what they were designed to do).
Vote Axelrod.
I'm Roarke, Jr. Aka "That Yellow Bastard" (aka the child-molesting murderer). Whoopie! Next.
I'd still like to see a list of claims and actions.
As it happens, I'm willing enough to buy it for one day minimum, since I'm more concerned about CF.
