I would be willing to leave Axelrod alone for now, but why on Earth would you have the ability to hide? I finally got to see the movie and if anything Roarke was nearly as bad as Kevin. rapist killer = cannibal killer in my mind.
I am currently thinking that you are telling the truth here - for one thing, the argument that is admittedly a WIFOM; for another, from what I vaguely know about SC, that sounds like the kinda role that could work that way. there was another reason too but I forgot.
There's a convincing argument.
Quote from Rhinocero »
In any case, I believe your telling the truth here, and thus shouldn't be lynched.
Y'know, if he is mafia, claiming Roarke Jr. might turn out to be a pretty smart move, if it gets us not to lynch him. I won't go as far as to say I believe him, but I think the case against CF is better.
Quote from Rhinocero »
Also, I sorta doubt that you're on anyone's "list" - since then that would be one of your win conditions. Which would be muy weird. Maybe you should commit suicide just on the off chance of winning!
What? What are you talking about?
Quote from Rhinocero »
Most people think CF is the next logical target which makes sense since roleblocker is often a mafia role (Sorry if he's not the roleblocker;
He isn't.
Quote from Rhinocero »
I think axelrod's idea about a big ol' list is a good one [I claimed Ex-Con Geezer, 3 times per day can put an extra vote on someone, used ability once, no night actions thus far]), but then again we ourselves have no other roleblocker.
Yes. We do. His name is Carrion Pigeons. Carrion Pigeons and Crippled Fist are two different people.
Quote from Rhinocero »
Behavior analysis suggests scum, but again, I think that might be faulty (his original statement - concern about mass breaking vis a vis comic-specific non-generic roles - doesn't neccesarily mean that he has a comic-specific non-generic role himself). However, I think that just the eagerness to be cleared by claiming a generic title is somewhat scummy in and of itself. Is there any other behavioral analysis saying he's scum?
All right, let's review here.
For me, the case against CF basically boils down to two things:
His first post of the game in which he says he had wondered how Az would remove the mass claiming problem. But having non-sin city characters, like CF claims to be, pretty much removes this problem.
His roleclaim in which he claims a role that is 1) unverifiable, 2) unhelpful to anyone but himself, 3) Has an unconvincing name (street bum?), 4) Gives him an excuse for his lack of a voting record. It just seems made up.
His response to CC in which he says he thought his character was a specific, unnamed SC character. Street bum is a specific character?
So yeah. I think Axel and CF are both scummy, and CF is more so. Hence my vote.
EBWODP: When I said "two", I meant "three." They don't teach me that stuff in grad school.
I claimed Ex-Con Geezer, 3 times per day can put an extra vote on someone, used ability once, no night actions thus far
Eh? I thought you could only do it three times total, and that it was someone else's vote, not an extra one?
Sigh. Unvote Axelrod. I can't counterclaim that, unfortunately. I'm Manute. I'm still suspicious of you, but I don't have anything concrete any more.
I'd like to hear from everyone who they think the most scummy players are ATM. It's getting really hard to judge.
I'm going to go with C_F for being the scummiest overall, but I suspect him more of being the SK than a mafioso. Axelrod is an exceptionally close second.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.

This is more like what I'm talking about. But it needs to include the dead people and whatever information we had on them up to the point where they died.
Another thing I'm batting around right now is whether it's actually possibly to figure out the total number of scum left. There's this "role-blocker/vote-forcer", right? And obviously there's a daykiller. And then there's the night posting "Dark Horse" who must be scum based on current claims unless he were, in fact, Aurorasparrow. But if he's Aurorasparrow there's absolutely no reason for him not to have claimed it. That's not an ability that even matters. (note: he might still be Aurorasparrow, I'm just saying that even if he is, it's still a scum role).
So anyway, each of those abilities is distinct enough that I doubt one mafia would have two of them, so that's three scums: likely 2 mafia + 1 daykilling SK. Have we seen any other ability used that would confirm the presence of a 3rd mafia? I don't recall DM being forced to "random-vote" anyone today. I don't recall anyone claiming to have been randomly forced to vote anyone. So is that a different role than the one that hit Hawkeye7 Day 1 and 2? And the one DM claims to have been hit by the past 2 nights?

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
@Axel- feel free to include whatever info you'd like to add to it. While you're at it, you can tell us what nights you self-protected and what nights you did nothing.
@Raf- who did you watch on nights 2 & 3? I know you said it already, but I can't seem to find it.
@JCS- who did you protect and what nights did you do so?
@Rhino is the information above correct? What nights did you use your ability and who did you target?
Roarke Jr is a really scummy claim (especially with Nancy in the game as a townie). Axelrod definitely didnt have to claim him either; he could have made something up way less suspicious.
Carrion Pigeons is MANUTE? That makes NO SENSE.
Since my information doesnt help the town, it would make more sense for us to eliminate our really big suspects before I say anything about my role.
um no. Information in general helps the town. I don't want to lynch a player who has been cleared by the cop but I'm sure that the one thing that will unify the town against you would be the flat refusal to give any info. My vote is already on you, AS. We need info from you. Everyone else has already given whatever they know. We need something from you now.

I think we should just let him slide.
If he's mafia, then what? Odds are, we'd still prefer to kill off one of Axel or C_F than risk going after him. If he isn't mafia, the odds are even bigger. Honestly, we just don't have enough time kill all the suspicious people today, and AS isn't even in the top 5.
Quote from Highroller »
The current write-up for me is accurate. The Caesar thing is a joke from MTGNews.
Wait! When did carrion pigeons claim Manute?
Just barely, like three of my posts back, or something.
Anyway, Mr. Daykiller, if you want to target either C_F or Axel, we'll kill off the other one. If you target someone else, it'll probably be a safe assumption that you are either Axel or C_F. Therefore, if you are either of those players, your best bet for survival is going to be not to kill anyone today.
If you are not one of those players, you ought to kill one of them because it benefits you in the long run. If both are mafia, we'll kill both of them today, and without the mafia to win, your chances increase. If one is mafia (the likeliest scenario, IMO), we get to kill off one of them, and again, your chances increase. If both are innocent, well, at least we still have tomorrow, and the mafia still can't win without killing you off, right?
I think we should be able to rely on the SK cooperating, for now, whether that means no kill or either Axel or C_F killed. If so, we should definitely be going after one of those two ourselves.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.
'Welcome to Mafia Salvation', it said, 'Population: 3,660.' And someone, they never figured out who, had painted on the sign in red letters: '1,831 to lynch.'
HR- I don't like it either (I know you haven't said it outright, but that's OK. I can tell you're thinking it too...).
That said, he did admit it voluntarily, and if he was such an ass as to sacrifice fadeblue (who was probably godfather too) when the mafia hadn't lost anyone yet, he probably deserves to get away with it a little longer. That's a hell of a dicey play. Besides, as has been pointed out, big knife stab to the gut doesn't really sound like Manute's style for a kill. Torture followed by a big knife stab DOES sound kind of like Roarke Jr, though. I think I just changed my mind on who's more suspicious out of Axelrod and CF.
Re: my night actions-
I never said what I got on HR, so saying I said he got nothing is inaccurate.
For the record, my pm said initially I didn't see any official letters addressed to HR, but then I noticed that he received one after all. I imagine that had to do with him getting a PM that I had watched him.
Night 2 I watched aurorasparrow (which I said earlier). I'm still unsure as to whether I should release this result now or hang out with it until he claims. Thoughts?
Night 3, LJustus, nothing (which again, said earlier).
Night 4, draygn, nothing
Night 5, CF, nothing
The last two nights I've been kind of unfortunate in watching people who were blocked, although apparently by different people ("fizzled" roleblock on draygn, carrion's roleblock on CF).
Anyway, due to suspecting Axelrod now more than CF, unvote, FOS Axelrod. I'd like a votecount before I vote.
Eh? I thought you could only do it three times total, and that it was someone else's vote, not an extra one?
Sorry, that was a typo. For the first part, that's correct. For the second part, it was sorta like that - basically, I co-opted SG/Chamber's force-vote ability, which put an additional vote outta nowhere on a person. I don't know if it still works with them dead (PMing Az now). I think I was trying to convey that it is a day action, not a night action...
Also the Hawkeye votes were NOT by me. For one thing, I didn't do that. For another, my ability is a day action, it adds an extra vote from the mod rather than forcing someone else to vote, and I don't think the flavor is violent. Thinking about it, they might have been SG/Chamber abilities - but I doubt it, as again the flavor is not violent.

Unfortunately, chamber is now dead and not available to clarify this. However, I'm pretty sure the way he described it was that the vote-forcing was not his and SG's ability at all, it was something they "did" because and only because of your action.
For another thing, I thought the flavour of it was that they strongarmed the person into doing the vote, which seems pretty violent to me.
You know, at the start of the day it seemed pretty likely to me that CF was #1 suspect, that Axel was #2 and that Rhino though odd was probably OK. Now Rhino's apparent failure in to have his own role straight suggests he might actually be making some stuff up as he goes along. Is it too much to ask for us to get some obvious sign of which one to lynch?
carrion pigeons: the SK likes having the mafia and town battle it out, because there are more kills. Killing CF or Axel would narrow the list of potential SKs, and not be the correct move.
If the mafia doesn't win while the SK is alive, he doesn't really have to fight to keep the town alive.
This is starting to get more interesting. Maybe I'll actually bite the bullet and go and look up all that old role info. I'm trying to get other people to post for me.
What did I do that was particularly suspicious again? I mean, before I claimed.
And I'm smacking everyone one of you upside the head who are trying to find character-based reasons why my role is scummy. Not that I didn't predict this.
I already said when I used the ability, so I think it's posted correctly. Not the first "No Kill" night. Then the next night. Then last night and no other nights. This can still be "verified" for whatever that's worth. It's not used up yet.

I have no title, and I am pretty sure I have not been in ANY of the comics. My sole ability is a three-timer - it was used by Einsteinmonkey to vote for you D1, and it basically subverts SG/Chamber's vote. The flavor is that they're acquantainces of mine from a string in prison (I do have a criminal history, but no mob connections; there is no flavor given for their being scum or town).

So what you're saying is that I claimed a specific ability. I then purposefully made something else up, a slightly different - but significantly overpowered- role. Then when someone asked me about it I reverted back to the first thing. Why on earth would I do that? Note especially that the ability I claimed accidentally is pretty much absurdly overpowered. It's sorta like having a double cop without any drawback - no rational mod would allow it in. This isn't a WIFOM, either - it's an absurd and insane role, there's no reason for me to claim something like that in any circumstanes, scum, townie, or neutral. That was just a typo - nothing sinister.
Just wanted to clarify - in that final post, the "first part" refers to Carrion Pigeon's post:
Quote from carrion pigeons »
Eh? I thought you could only do it three times total, and that it was someone else's vote, not an extra one?
I couldn't care less about the three times per day/three times per game confusion, the error was obvious and I didn't even bring it up.
The error I brought up and regarded as you making a slip because you couldn't keep your story straight was a bit which I even quoted (and you then promptly ignored in your post above).
That you said you just co-opted chamber/SG's vote, or that you co-opted their vote force ability. That your ability is not violent. These are contradicted by the evidence. They didn't have a vote-force ability. It wasn't their vote which got forced. It does sound like violence is involved in the flavour of the ability.
Or to put it another way, you got a bit too nervy about sounding like you're a violent vote-stealer and you backpedalled a bit too far. Cause that's what it looks like.
And then you made a really huge mistake by trying to misrepresent my arguments by having the gall to quote me and then answer arguments which had nothing to do with what I just said. If there's something I'm always right about, it's people misrepresenting me are mafia 100% of the time. Azrael in High School mafia, bateleur in WD2 (and what a mistake it was there not to attack him harder for that sooner!).
No mercy. vote Rhino
EBWODP: Azrael was in random, of course, not in High School. I was in the mafia in High School Mafia, no-one misrepresented me there.
That you said you just co-opted chamber/SG's vote, or that you co-opted their vote force ability. That your ability is not violent. These are contradicted by the evidence. Or to put it another way, you got a bit too nervy about sounding like you're a violent vote-stealer and you backpedalled a bit too far. Cause that's what it looks like.
1) the first time, I did in fact mean it was their vote-force ability. 2) I don't KNOW they had a vote force ability - I assumed it since I DO know that someone else has an ability basically the same as mine (as the use of that ability will cancel out mine) and since SorryGuy/Chamber were the AGENTS by which I naturally carried out my ability, naturally it was most likely that they had the ability. either that or there was one party who had a vote-forcing ability (which oddly no one else has claimed) and then me, who contacted two random guys without any abilities to activate my own vote forcing ability.
And since they're dead, Azrael has just told me that my ability no longer works.
And from what I understood from the flavor of the action, it involved talking and persuasion, not violence. As in I've seen the PM they received and it talked about discussing things with various acquantainces (to paraphrase obv). Rereading it, it might be violent - I don't know, but I thought that it was peaceful.

I'm sorry, I honestly misunderstood your argument there. It was a stupid mistake and all, but nevertheless that is what happened.
I'm sure from the info in this post that you're going to assume I am a liar, but I am telling the truth - this is an honest representation of events, and its sorta frustrating. And I'm sorry that I didn't come out with the info in this post earlier but I didn't think it was really relevant to any ongoing discussions.
Well I'm slowly going through the thread again. I don't know that I'll have any brilliant insights by the end of it, but who knows.
One thought I just had: CarrionPigeons--Manute wasn't in the movie so I don't actually know very much about that character except LJustus said he was scummy.
1. Are you claiming straight-up townie alignment, as opposed to Neutral like myself?
2. If so, can you explain the logic of Manute being townie aligned without getting yourself mod-killed? The logic of my own role is basically that I don't care about anyone but myself and I'm just trying to survive this mess.

Yes, but he benefits at this point most by keeping the mafia down. He is much more at risk while there are multiple kills that could get him. If he kills mafia, eventually, he'll have control over a larger percentage of the kills, which gives him better odds.

Well, I claimed miller, if you recall, but as for alignment, yes, I'm town. I haven't seen the movie, but what I understood from my original google search was the he was huge and dumb. I'm not really sure that there's a particular explanation for my alignment; all I was really told was that there was a lot of prejudice against me in the town and I would basically need to prove myself if I wanted to earn their trust. I think Az was just trying to be difficult.

Oh my. First of all, having Roarke Jr. be neutral and Manute be town is exactly the kind of thing I'd expect from a game modded by Az. Not that they're clear on the basis of those claims, but CP catching the scum leader is pretty convincing evidence of his towniness. Unless someone comes up with a reason to the contrary, I'll believe CP's claim.
Aurora - you didn't respond to my last post about you. I want to know if I've stated the situation correctly.
I think Crippled Fist and Rhino are both lying. In addition to the other evidence that has piled up, go back and look at the rolenames of the dead generic roles. They all give an exact description of that player's ability.
DYH, for example, is "Lunatic/Roleblocker/Investigator."
Fayul is "Overzealous Vigilante"
Hawkeye is "Bodyguard"
Cropcircles is "Psychic" which (IMO) refers to DYH's spirit being summoned.
But "Street Bum?" "Ex-con Geezer?" There would be no way to tell from those what the ability is. They don't fit the pattern.
I think the reason I got this ability was to limit the late-game power should one of the brothers be turned - it's a very powerful scum ability to force votes, and I think my role was partially a balance against that.
You never told us before today that you can only make Azrael vote. Your original claim says you can "subvert" SG and chamber's vote. You imply they have an ability to "force" votes. Forcing a townie to vote a certain way is completely different from forcing Azrael to vote a certain way.
Being able to force a townie to vote someone is an ability that's too strong for the mafia. But what you have is an extra vote, conditional on several other players being alive. That's not too strong at all.'
Unvote. Vote: Rhinocero.

One thought I just had: CarrionPigeons--Manute wasn't in the movie so I don't actually know very much about that character except LJustus said he was scummy.
Manute WAS in the movie. He's the black guy missing one eye.
And he worked for the mob in that movie. Since every mafia we've killed so far worked for Wallenquist, I'm pretty suspicious of carrion pigeons.
Quote from carrion pigeons »
Well, I claimed miller, if you recall, but as for alignment, yes, I'm town. I haven't seen the movie, but what I understood from my original google search was the he was huge and dumb. I'm not really sure that there's a particular explanation for my alignment; all I was really told was that there was a lot of prejudice against me in the town and I would basically need to prove myself if I wanted to earn their trust. I think Az was just trying to be difficult.
And the FOS still stands. That description is NOTHING like Manute. Manute was not dumb. He was a highly trained torturer and very evil.
Quote from aurorasparrow »
Manute was something of a strongarm for the pimps, but he wasn't dumb. Flavorwise, he's as mafia as Miho is scum.
Wrong again. Manute is very much mafia. He's the one who lead the mafia's attack on Old Town in The Big, Fat Kill. Miho, flavor-wise, is anti-mafia (although I do not believe draygn_mage is Miho), just as Manute is definitely pro-mafia.
However, I think it would be a good long while before I could ever bring myself to vote for carrion, given that he did lead an attack against the leader. If he were mafia, that would essentially be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
No daykill... I'm liking this.
Once again, I'm going to have to look over the thread, but I do believe that Axelrod, Crippled_Fist, and Rhinocero all need to be very closely scrutinized.
AS: why would I claim miller if I were scum and the cop were dead? Especially when I already said that I've fulfilled the condition for me no longer being a miller, so hypothetically, if there were another cop who was hiding, and he investigated me, I would still be investigated as innocent?
At this point, the only reason I gave that information out was to be complete. I am not a miller any more.
Like I said, though, I haven't seen the movie. I've just been googling stuff as it came up. I completely missed anything about Manute being anything but a brute.
And finally, a vote-like FoS Rhinocero. I don't know what do you think, but from my stand point 'Old Geezer' and 'Street Bum' are a bit too close to each other, especially when Rhino has attracted my attention earlier too.
Sheesh, CF. Our vig is dead. Are you really that worried about the mafia nightkilling you?

Yeah, well, I want to finish reviewing completely before I lay out something grand here. But here's a question, which will probably give you a good idea where I'm coming from with respect to you, at least:
Remind us why you decided to kill Fayul again? I mean, the complete explanation.

The town is finally hitting their stride. Conversation and activity flows throughout the room. The debate swings back and forth like a pendulum, and outside the storm continues to rage. Amidst the excitement of the day, it takes you quite some time to realize that JCSuperstar is no longer with you.
You scour the town hall, desperately hoping to find him before it is too late. Below, you hear a tortured scream, and you charge down the stairs, weapons held at the ready.
Too late. JCSuperstar's body is crumpled into a heap at the bottom of the stairs, slash marks up and down his body, in sets of five. His head and hands are lying a little farther down the hallway. Grimly, you examine what's left of him. The tips of his fingers are heavily calloused. He has a notepad and a pen, and on the first page is a crude picture of a brown-haired woman in a yellow jumpsuit, tied to a bed.
You also find a loaded revolver in his pocket, that looks as if it has seen plenty of service. Your curiosity sparked, you move on to his room. An ancient typewriter sits on a table in the center, with sheets of paper stacked neatly beside it, probably scrounged from some supply closet. You also find a laptop, left on from last night, apparently. You open it, and discover a database containing the criminal records of everyone in Sin City. Finally, you discover several large bundles of cash under the mattress, and a check signed "WQ". You seem to be in luck.
You return to the town hall, your determination rekindled. You're making progress. Hopefully it's not too late.

I'm not sure what your actual goal was, Mr. Daykiller, but that was real nice of you. Did you have some reason to fear a doc? You ought to come out and tell us what the strategy was there.
Anyway, I think that gives us a little leeway, and for once, AS is probably on the right track. Vote C_F. There's just too much going against him at this point.
Odds are pretty good that we have today and tomorrow to keep it from becoming lynch or lose, now. We're in pretty good shape, I think. If possible, we ought to start looking for the SK now. The mafia and the SK are the same size, presumably, but the SK's kills might be harder to deal with, if D_M is telling the truth. I think C_F has the best chance of being the SK, of anyone.
Oh yeah. Doesn't April wear a yellow jumpsuit? What's that about?

Apparently the scum tied her up and took her place. that STILL doesn't explain where the hell the roleblocks against me were coming from. well, if he was the last scum my role is now officially useless.
unvote, vote Crippled_Fist
He turns up town and I say we toss Axelrod next...
Wait a second. That means that Highroller got blocked last night, if he was tied up...
Bloody hell. I wonder if the daykiller is ahead of the game or whether they were just killing "the doc" to try and make sure the kills keep coming. Missed mafia kills don't help the SK (unless, of course, the mafia are trying to kill the SK. Somehow I doubt the SK is someone who expects protection.)
JCS going down puts a new light on things. In retrospect, that frog-on-a-hot-log voting pattern really was a mafia fishing for a target people could bite on. I need to go back and see what he was up to. Given how much he seemed to support me on draygn, though, I'm more inclined than before to believe in draygn's innocence. I realise Axelrod claims to have stuff on draygn, CF and Rhino, but we'll see. I can certainly still believe in CF or Rhino's guilt. I can also still believe in Axelrod's guilt.
That JCS had a picture of April (woman in yellow jumpsuit), one can only assume his role had something to do with HR, although probably doesn't mean that they're scum together.
Most interesting that neither of them died or was interfered with last night when jcs was meant to be "protecting" HR. Must have been doing something else, though. But what?
DM. Scum tied who up and took what? I don't have a clue what you're saying.
I think he's suggesting that jcs was the mafia roleblocker...
That would mean that HR was blocked last night, which would presumably mean that the paper last night came from someone else. I'm not sure that makes sense, because HR referenced the paper not very long ago as though to explain it. Why would he have done that if he hadn't written it?
Or maybe he's immune to roleblockers? We've seen that the papers went up fairly early in the night on Night 2(?); it's possible that they weren't affected by roleblockers, so Az just went ahead and posted them. I remember being a little surprised that night when they were posted before I had sent in my night choice.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.

Sorry, I had to run out of the house to get to the school. I'm back in front of a computer again for a while. Yes, I was trying to point out that if JCS had a picture of April tied up then he must have attempted to role block HR. I'm a little worried that it was on the first page of the notebook as opposed to further in. Was HR blocked on Night 0? or Night 1? Raf said HR did get a note last night, didn't he? I really can't wait to find out who is blocking me every night, although I'll laugh if we get the roles at the end of the game and mine has "mod note: if Miho claims, she loses the ability to watch others." Az isn't that sick and twisted is he?
Hrm. Things are getting more complicated. Up to around 1290 now. Please don't lynch anyone until I have my say. There may be a new suspect. Which means I have identified at least 1 too many scum. So I am still working it out.
I'll try to get something started tonight. But I'm also watching the Carolina/Duke game tonight which takes priority.
Go Heels!

1. The PM I got last night mentioned nothing about being tied up. JCSuperstar, according to the PM, never entered my room. However, I know he targetted me with some sort of night ability that didn't kill me, or block my article from being sent out.
2. There was a photograph of me tied up on JCSuperstar's person.
Now, what we can do with this information, I'm not entirely sure of. Right now, I'm very curious if there is any kind of roleblocker out there.
Just to make sure we've got everything straight here:
Raf: Did you say who you watched last night?
carrion: did you say who you blocked last night?

Raf watched AS last night, I think. I blocked C_F.
Note that it was not a photograph, but a drawing. It might just be some kind of sick fantasy, and he had some reason to want you dead, or incapacitated, or something. The more I think about it, it makes sense that jcs was Dark Horse, with the typewriter, and the reporter role, so he was probably your double or something.

d_m: I watched HR on the first night, before play started (call it night 0 or night 1, whatever) and he got a note then. I haven't watched him since, hasn't seemed like any point.
It was JCS to claimed to have protected HR, and HR claimed that JCS had shown up outside HR's door.
In retrospect, I don't know why we didn't instantly jump all over the flavour of that (maybe someone did...). Reading back, JCS claimed that as "Lucille" he hid people, not stood outside their door guarding them.
HR: I watched CF and he got no note, as I said earlier. Since it turns out he was blocked by cp this doesn't help a great deal except maybe to corroborate dm's story, since when he was "roleblocked" by the fizzle thing he didn't get a note during the night either (only got a reply from azrael when he pm'd him in the morning to ask him what happened to his ability).

Oh ok. Well that makes perfect sense then. JCSuperstar wasn't a roleblocker. The picture probably indicates that he knew I was in the game.
There's that database too. He might have known who all the roles in the game were, or everyone with a criminal record. That one would be interesting. Might also clear both Axel and cp to some extent; if most of the criminals are in the mafia, why do they need a database of criminal records?
The picture might mean an alternate win condition; maybe he could could win by personally doing a kill on April or by surviving with April to the final four or something. Could be a lot of things.
Oh, and I just remembered. Got sidetracked and didn't try this earlier.
Oh, and I just remembered. Got sidetracked and didn't try this earlier.
unvote, vote Kevin
Man, I hope that works.
Database of criminal records... See, what bothers me is this. I think it's clear that JCSuperstar was an information role for the mafia. But the mafia had a cop. Can it be the mafia actually had two information roles working for them? But then, perhaps the false cop merely had godfather, and not investigation, abilities.
I'm not sure if the criminal records help either Crippled_Fist or Axelrod. Remember that the Salesman was neutral, Dwight was town, and this is Sin City, so almost everyone's got a bit of a crime record.
There's a convincing argument.
Y'know, if he is mafia, claiming Roarke Jr. might turn out to be a pretty smart move, if it gets us not to lynch him. I won't go as far as to say I believe him, but I think the case against CF is better.
What? What are you talking about?
He isn't.
Yes. We do. His name is Carrion Pigeons. Carrion Pigeons and Crippled Fist are two different people.

@Raf- who did you watch on nights 2 & 3? I know you said it already, but I can't seem to find it.
@JCS- who did you protect and what nights did you do so?
@Rhino is the information above correct? What nights did you use your ability and who did you target?
@HR- what happened each night?
And lastly @AS- name claim if you please.

Wait! When did carrion pigeons claim Manute?
I think we should just let him slide.
If he's mafia, then what? Odds are, we'd still prefer to kill off one of Axel or C_F than risk going after him. If he isn't mafia, the odds are even bigger. Honestly, we just don't have enough time kill all the suspicious people today, and AS isn't even in the top 5.

If the mafia doesn't win while the SK is alive, he doesn't really have to fight to keep the town alive.

__________________________________________________________________
__________________________________________________________________
One additional point against Rhino: Go back to the post where he claimed. He says
Manute WAS in the movie. He's the black guy missing one eye.
And he worked for the mob in that movie. Since every mafia we've killed so far worked for Wallenquist, I'm pretty suspicious of carrion pigeons.
And the FOS still stands. That description is NOTHING like Manute. Manute was not dumb. He was a highly trained torturer and very evil.
At this point, the only reason I gave that information out was to be complete. I am not a miller any more.
Like I said, though, I haven't seen the movie. I've just been googling stuff as it came up. I completely missed anything about Manute being anything but a brute.

I think I may have discovered that DM is mafia. Stay tuned.
Remind us why you decided to kill Fayul again? I mean, the complete explanation.

I'll try to get something started tonight. But I'm also watching the Carolina/Duke game tonight which takes priority.
Go Heels!
What we've got:
We're up to p100!

The picture might mean an alternate win condition; maybe he could could win by personally doing a kill on April or by surviving with April to the final four or something. Could be a lot of things.
Oh, and I just remembered. Got sidetracked and didn't try this earlier.
