I played Scrabble against one of the spellslingers today. He bolted the only Scrabbler I saw all game and then I slowly lost to a Strangleroot Geist. Sad times.
I bet he felt bad for beating a 7 year old so badly. (And he'd probably feel worse if he knew how old you really are.)

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
I'm finding that I'm nt making good use of my free time (I often sit around bored), so does anyone know of any cool personal projects or something I can do?

Gerrard's Mom proposed a Risk-like version of a league, where you'd build decks and use them to defend and conquer territories on a map. If you want to dig a bit and find the discussion around that you could come up with a proposal for a ruleset.

If somebody does this, I suggest looking at campaign rules for tabletop battlegames for inspiration (warhammer, warmachine, etc.)
Overview: A CFG based upon the Great Designer Search's booster challenge. Competitors pick or invent a plane, then, through out the month, have meet challenges that are centered around making a single booster pack. Duration: 1 Month
Game Structure: Four rounds of continuous participation, with a CLL-like schedule. There will be multiple cards required per round, so as to achieve a full 15 card booster (foils?).
Challenge Structure:
Scenario: The player's self-chosen set/block/whatever.
Restrictions: What role the card has to fill the booster. Things like limited removal, limited gimmick, constructed uncommon, story functions.
Judging Structure: Public poll for each round, votes=points which are carried forward. Critiques will add bonus points.
Bonus: We can use completed boosters for the Flamingo Cube.
On another note, are we actually ever going to fire a long-span CFG? I would like to try running Who's Got Talent.
Club Flamingo Game Proposal: Choose Your Own Adventure Horrible Way To Die
Overview: A CFG based upon those choose-your-own-adventure-type books where you pick things to do and have consequences. Duration: 1 Month
Game Structure: Four or five rounds of continuous participation, with a 50% cut every round. The length will obviously depend on the number of people, but it'll probably be 5; should be ~30 entrants right?
Challenge Structure:
Scenario: Changes depending on their actions. See the way that ME's done those awesome bits of flavour for the CCL? Yeah, like that; depending on what you did the round before, there will be different scenarios (or, if you didn't make the cut, grizzly fates)
Restrictions: Fitting flavourfully or mechanically into whatever the scenario is. Challenges will be individual unless the action taken last round was the same as someone else's.
Judging Structure: Public poll, possibly, although I don't know. Maybe CCL type thing?
If this is accepted, July would've been perfect for me to host considering I have school holidays and thus infinite time to organise everything. Next school holidays crosses months and is awkward, but September or October should be okay. December and January 2013 would be good too.
also would this work as a CCL if it would nvm.

1. One card counts the number of creatures on the battlefield. 2. All five colors are exactly present between your three cards. 3. Your cards have a total converted mana cost of 50.
Primadominance14RRGGWW
Sorcery (MR)
Primadominance costs 1 less to cast for each creature on the battlefield.
Search your library for up to five creature cards with power 5 or greater and put them onto the battlefield. Shuffle your library.
Chronopotence18UU
Sorcery (MR)
If your library has ten or fewer cards in it, you may cast Chronopotence without pay its mana cost.
Take two extra turns after this one. The most glorious moment will find ways to endure.
Hell On Earth 6BBBB
Sorcery (MR)
You may exile twenty creature cards from your graveyard rather than pay Hell On Earth's mana cost.
Destroy all creatures. For each creature destroyed this way, put a 5/5 black Demon creature token with flying onto the battlefield.

It was Magic Wars.
I rest my case.
Lessons learned, and we salvaged something out of it.
That's where the inspiration came from originally, yes. A Warmachine campaign.
I'm just about out of things to do in Xenoblade so I might show up again sometimes.
Apparently I know what's up?

With some flavor. Just have all of the routes preplanned. You could make it branch out even more but too much complication is bad.
. . . Should I be worried?
my vote is "yes"

The complication would only be from my point of view, anyway. People only need to look at their own story strand.
also what is this SCDL being jail bait.
