The idea is, as soom as Champion of the Arena gets hit he lashes out will fight any targettable creature (even your own, if the opponent has none) until they don't hurt him back or he dies.
at 5 mana, I wouldn't be against getting the creature in hand right away. for the second ability, I guess you mean nonbasic LAND. repeatable jester's cap is pretty awesome, but because it's unknown what card is on top it's still not as powerful (which is a good thing). his last ability is also missing the cost for transmute. I guess the easiest would be to give them all transmute 1UB.
I agree that Kraj is awesome, but wanted to defend some of my design choices. I felt the +1 needed to put it on top of the library. I compared it to Liliana Vess, and in the hand as a +1 was too strong, especially since it can be any card, (as long as the same card is in the yard), not just creatures.
The "nonbasic card" was on purpose. I wanted the ability to be able to snag nonland cards as well as nonbasic lands, and figured that was the shortest way to do that and was correct in terms of rules.
I did just forget to specify the transmute cost...derp. It was going to be 1UB.

Headley - The Break ability is interesting but it could be easy to misunderstand. Something like "Break - Whenever Champion of the Arena is dealt damage, deal 4 damage to target creature or player." is a bit more straight forward because the ability goes off regardless of whether Champion is in play. The fight ability you have however would fizzle if he died because Champ would now be in the graveyard. Coming to that now, Champ could only fight two creatures with power 1 before he'd die. The only way to increase that number is by increasing his toughness. pstmdrn - I like this ability and your card showcases it off quite nicely. Deal two damage (either on offense or defence), pay 1B to keep your dude and make everyone else discard a card. I think the other option would have been to make it target player discards a card at random. I like either or but it makes the card more viable in a regular format. Cythare - This made me laugh. It'd be hard to tell how just how broken this would be without a set of cards with Break in them but I like the synergy behind it. I wish the card had a slightly more serious name to match. Bloodyspasm - I would have made this non-land as well. Any kind of slow start for the opponent would just be crushed by this card. Turn 1, Forest, Llanowar, turn 2, mountain Rampaging Wildman, turn 3, crush your land base. Granted you can't always expect your opponent to slow roll but this just makes it far to easy to shut them down early especially since in green you'd quite frequently have him out on turn 3 with 4 mana open. Squirrel Bear - Now this is a cool idea. The ability is kinda tailored to the card, I find you'd have to work to make it flavorful in other applications but on this card it's both flavorful and a great idea.
