Whenever Brainletter deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, that player discards a card at random.

Callous Kunoichi5B
Creature - Human Ninja [R]
Ninjutsu 3B
Whenever Callous Kunoichi deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, search that player's library for four nonland cards and exile them. Then that player shuffles his or her library.
Disappointingly, none of these effects is going to be consistently impressive in Limited, relegating them to "undercosted flash beater" more than anything else. I find it strange that the Ninjas with the worst on-hit effect are also the ones with the highest cost.

I'm very not attached to Brainletter. Do you have any suggestions for an alternate design that can fit the "suicide ninja" bill?
I'd be happy to put a Limited-relevant ability in the black ninjutsu common slot.
I like that each color of ninjas has its own mechanical identity within the ninja "tribe." I agree with Jenesis, though, that most of these effects are underwhelming. Frankly, I think it has to do with the fact that they're all one-shot effects... I don't mean that its a bad mechanical identity, I just mean the effects should be more interesting. Destroying a creature (Or making them sacrifice) is a much more valuable one shot effect than a random discard; Raising any creature is more versatile than just a Demon (though I love the flavor behind it enough to let it slide). In general, I'd look for effects that can feel "worth the sacrifice" a larger portion of the time. If you have any more room for another common black ninja, it'd do well for the theme, I expect.
I think you can make it some kind of sacrifice effect. Compare Blind Zealot (one-shot, destroy, common), Cabal Executioner (repeatable, sac, uncommon), and Throat Slitter (repeatable, destroy, common).
The precedent for sac to discard on turn 3 is Haunted Cadaver (three cards).
Brotip: "Extraction"-type effects are cheap even when multiple cards are involved; see Earwig Squad. Hell, see Sadistic Sacrament. Either switch the Kunoichi's effect or make it much bigger, like ten cards.
Taking comments from Jenesis and void_nothing to heart, let's try the cycle again:
Vile Onmitsu3B

Ninjutsu 1B
Whenever Vile Onmitsu deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, that player sacrifices a creature.

Hidetsugu's Elite3BB

Ninjutsu 1BB
Whenever Hidetsugu's Elite deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, return target Demon creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
[4/2]
Hell-Sworn Kunoichi5B
Creature - Human Ninja [R]
Ninjutsu 3B
Whenever Hell-Sworn Kunoichi deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, search that player's library for up to seven nonland cards and exile them. Then that player shuffles his or her library.
Vile is way, way better than the original common and I don't think it's unreasonable. Sorry I don't have anything useful to add, but "Suicide Ninjas" sounds like a show on Spike. Is that still a network?
