Worked out quite nice a few games. Drop an early dude, enchant it up, get some early beats, sweeper or edict, drop a guy next turn, retether next turn and win. Its rarely a dead card in your hand. Plus it seems people are scared to death of it. Every time I got toughtseized they took retether over other auras.
Nice results. retether mb is interesting. I was looking at your list and saw extra ledgewalkers and retethers with the same amount of auras and was like wha? Then I saw the paths in side. How was it? did you ever side them back in?
Also loving the dawn charm/mana tithe sideboard. Makes this interesting. How did you respond to spellskite? Paths and tithe?

Yeah, game 1 was all out aggro to see what I was playing. Then adjusted accordingly for game 2 and if need be game 3. I am really thinking mana tithes main next tournament, thinking of moving the 2 mb retethers and the 2 spirit dancers to the side, 4 tithes main, -1 spider umbra, +1 keen sense. Or 3 tithes and 1 spiritdancer, not sure yet have to test this week.
As for paths, the only 2 things I brought them in for was spellkites and any lifelink creatures I saw (which was just baneslayer).
Has anyone tried playing Deathrite Shaman in this deck? I decided to test it out, dropping 1 Horizon Canopy for an Overgrown Tomb and jamming in 2 deathrite Shaman's. So far, I like the results, but it's definitely not a 4-of.

I have been toying with Blind Obedience and Porphyry Nodes. Blind Obedience gives some added reach and adds to the enchantment count for Ethereal Armor, also allows for swings due to their dudes coming in tapped. Nodes gives us reusable removal since our creatures should always be bigger then our opponents. Again Nodes adds to the enchantment count. Another thing about Nodes is it doesnt target, so in mirror matches you can remove their hexproof guys.
I think im the first one to build this on paper at my entire city, never seen one before out of MTGO so i think i got a great chance to shake things a bit. What do you think of this ? Any changes i should do ?
like the deck list minus the md reteather. i have gone away from md path b/c alot of ppl playing tron and uxx control. i put in 3 mana tithe and 3 abundant growth. decks been flying. first turn dude second growth and pump that makes me able to pump third and leave tithe mana open if i need it
Things that helped me Top 4:
You cannot keep hands (that have more then 5 cards) that do not have a turn 1 Bogle and some sort of enchantment to put on him the next turn. Keen Sense lets you cheat a lot with this rule by drawing you into good enchantments. 4 land, Ethereal Armor, Bogle and Keen Sense is a great hand to keep. Never, ever expect to actually enchant a Noble or Spiritdancer in a game and connect with it. It's modern, unless your opponent is playing combo, they have removal.
You can enchant your opponents creatures with Spirit Mantle. If Splintertwin gets cute on your upkeep with a flashed Exarch, enchant it with Spirit Mantle and shut off his combo.
When playing against black decks, they will have a turn 3 Lilliana. Either play a second Bogle or have a fetchland sitting back so you don't have to sac your enchanted creature.
It might not seem obvious, but bring in Nature's Claim(/or other enchantment hate you can cast for G) against Mono-red and other decks that might conceivably play Blood Moon. And fetch your Forest at your earliest convenience, making sure you can still cast Daybreak Coronet when you need to. Do this because you will quickly lose to a Blood Moon.
Any deck that plays Lightning Bolt or Inquisition/Thoughseize/Lilliana are good decks to bring in Leylines for. Even UWR Control.
Suppression Field shuts down a lot of decks effects. Deathrite Shaman, Planeswalkers, and deceiver exarchs enchanted with Splintertwin are some good examples. Very good sideboard card.
anything u would change for next time? how good is heiarch been for ya. and what do u think of abundant growth in that spot? i just have noticed it can give u more explosive start

I dont see Abundant Growth replacing Noble Hierarch, the only useful effect i can see in the growth by itself is the cantrip. Its too dependant on having the Ethereal Armor in hand to gain a bonus from it. The hierarch fix mana if we need to (rarely we need the fix because we play mostly duals), ramps, gives "exalted", and has a body, not the best one but still can get out of range with a totem armor on it (i win several matches just taking that risk).
I think Gitaxian Probe is better than the growth cause its a "free" cantrip that gives us information that can be crucial in the development of the match.
I agree. Abundant growth gives us a little of everything which becomes almost nothing.
You don't need the fixing. You get the +1/1 for ethereal armor. You get a card. Its a timewalked cantrip. Why not just play probe or Noble Hierarch instead.
I like Noble Hierarch. It gives allows you to play auras/dudes with keeping path/mana tithe mana open. It also makes it easier to play Leyline or Retether if you need it. I'm not sure if its way better than running a list without her but shes definitely better than abundant growth.
I main deck 2 Utopia sprawl.
It really help ramping, get me a card if i have Kor spiritdancer in play. Can help fixing if needed, and synergize with ethereal armor. When cast on turn 2, it dont even slow the deck.

I'm weary of running more enchantments. I know the Pauper version runs 4x Wild Growth and 4x Utopia Sprawl but they have Ancestral Mask. I think Utopia Sprawl is fine though. We need to test it out.
I know Exalt is a good ability, but when your creatures are hitting at 10/10 and even more by the turn 3 or 4, it is not the +1 that is changing anything.
Bird is flying, it has evasion...

If you want evasion, why not just run ledgewalker? The deck can run off 2 mana pretty well. Its not like we need to hit a 3 or 4 drop to win.

So tell me this. If you have a deathrite shaman out and no use for his abilities. Your opponents has no blocks, is tapped out. Do you swing for the one damage?
Anyways, I really think Blind Obedience has a place in the SB as a 2-3 of. It's really proving to be very useful against aggro and twin

Of course, in that situation, I would swing for the one damage. Who wouldn't do it. Still, I think that if you want a creature to ramp mana, a creature with flying is better than a creature with Exalt in that deck.

This is just never the case. Seriously. If hierarch provides the mana you need, you run hierarch. 1 dmg wins games, and there are other avenues for evasion already in the deck. If your deck runs two mana dorks, consider bop.

why twin? it delays them a turn. They just make the dudes at the end of your turn, they untap, and you die.
I agree with the hierachs, but I only fit 2 into my md. evasion on bop is kinda meh when i dont really want to be putting auras on it.
I am wondering how others feel about ledgewalkers. Also not sure about the number of spiritdancer/keen sense. They usually net a card here or there and when i get to draw multiple times it feels like a game i wouldve won anyways.
sb has the usual leylines, path, tithe, and shopping around. (still like having some path md for blockers and platinum angel ? )
From my testing of Blind Obedience in Soul Sisters and Junk, I found that Blind Obedience is at its best in a deck with significant card advantage (I'd say at least 7 cards that come with 2+ spells attached--e.g. 4 Squadron Hawk and 3 Ranger of Eos) and 1-drops that can reliably take advantage of the tempo boost of a Turn 2 Blind Obedience. GW Bogle Aura may be lacking in CA, but it has fat 1-drops. It also has nice cheap spells that come with their own Extort soon enough.
Suppression Field definitely hoses Exarch Twin and Twin Pod harder (I've found the Twin Pod match-up swingy enough pre-board to want this card post-board), but at least Blind Obedience can stall Burn a little...

In the meantime, I have no clue why I haven't seen Forced Adaptation in any post-Gatecrash Modern GW Bogle Aura decklists by now. I've seen it in Pauper builds, but not Modern ones. Anyone know why?

Forced Adaptation is interesting. The counters stay on even after Back to Nature and should get around 2-4 at most. I guess you can survive Back to Nature or Tempest with a 5/5 Bogle put Rancor back on and resume attacking without having to draw action.
About the Gatecrash enchantment; it could be a sweet add to the deck, maybe in the keen sense slot (i'm still using the card) but it need further testing, im worried about the fact that it doesn't have and inmediately effect in the game, i don't like my enchantments being "slow".
I've built bogle for the ptq this last weekend and upcoming modern fnm's. Thanks to everyone on the thread for sharing your experiences.
Ive had a little trouble with the sideboard, sometimes I dont know what to optimize, what to play.
I currently have
2 Sunlance
3 Suppression feild
2 Pithing Needle
1 Ghost Quarter
2 Rest in Peace
1 Spirit Mantle
2 Stony Silence
2 Quasali Pridemage
as my sideboard.
You really, really need Leyline of Sanctity. 4-of if you can find the room. This deck mulligans pretty often; you can't afford to lose a card to turn 1 Inquisition or Thoughtseize. Especially if that card they take is Slippery Bogle, and its the only one in your hand. Consider that every burn spell your opponent plays is now targeting your face. Leyline shuts down Lilliana, execpt her discard which is fine for this deck.
Furthermore, consider: Can you cast your Pridemage through a turn 2 Blood Moon? Fetch your Forest and use Nature's Claim.
Ghost Quarter seems pretty bad, what do you even want that for? Manlands? Suppression Field deals with those, and even then, only Affinitys lands are a real issue.
Chipping in on the 3x Stony Silence discussion: Stony is solid against Tron, Affinity and Eggs, all popular decks. You want to draw this card against these decks, every time.

People are using/changing up
Noble Hierarch- mana dork- helps with playing your auras and sb tech
Silhana Ledge-walker- mainboard- its interesting. a turn slower with own evasion.
Gitaxian Probe- Sometimes we need to draw cards and seeing your opponents hand is pretty nice
Path to Exile- Sideboard instead of main. Sometimes pathing a deathrite seems irrelevant when you can just beat face
Mana Tithe- Mainboard- They play nasty stuffs? Just counter it.
