It doesn't make sense as an SK ability, I agree, and there's no way he managed to fake it as an SK.
Also, look at how Dan tried to replicate his thinking the game is over. Seppel called it out as a good trait at the end of the last day and he repeated the behavior. It's kinda suspicious.
Also, I don't buy this push on Void, only b/c a JOAT on an SK feels wrong. A SK with a double vote, however makes some sense. It would be an additional tool to help the SK at the end of the game.
Santorum is operating under the assumption that I have false claimed this information as the SK.
I for one have only seen one SK in a game that was Season Mafia. I think I will go back and reread that game some. IIRC, WoD was the SK in that game.
Since I didn't get a chance yesterday, I am Andrew Jackson (Town Double Voter).
Considered one of the best US presidents by historians, I was the first democratic president, the Hero of New Orleans, and I dealt with the Nullification crisis in South Carolina. I "declared war" on the US bank, calling it a corrupted instrument of the rich.
@TCM: Sorry, but its bothered me.... Is that Andrew Jackson, the man who took down the national bank and was the only President to not have national debt, but national surplus and whose nickname was Old Hickory?
It's also the man who has won several duels, including that famous one with Charles Dickinson, the man who dealt with one of the first attempts at a civil war, and the man of the common people, and strengthened the power of the presidency, and much more. I did a paper, and am doing my capstone on him.
TCM hasn't mentioned anyone else on the MTGS forums.
I want to lynch Dan, I think. I'll have a case up at day start - but I encourage everyone to re-read and clear any preconceptions about people beforehand. We have 1-2 mislynches yet (one if Tom is scum, two if he's not), so we'll need to be relatively careful.
I'm not willing to lynch Rick, even after my most recent re-read. There's just zero self-preservation in the mind-set he expressed, and I can't justify lynching him over anyone else (except Seppel).
I could see gambitting Void, but he'd have to be mafia, extremely well coordinated, and it's just... a stretch?
Tom is a possibility. I don't think he's mafia, based on AI interactions, but a netural of some kind with double-voting capability could exist.
Just...re-read overnight, and let's see what we can come up with I guess.
I'm not sure if that is really indicative of anything, Seppel? It shows that TCM has a vested interest in Jackson, but what about that says he's automatically a bad guy vs. just a town power role? It doesn't fit the 'theme' you think exists, either.
After a lengthy discussion about who could still be out for themselves, there comes a sudden chill in the air, a realization about one of your own remaining men, EtR.
"Wasn't he the man Hideki Tojo, the Prime Minister of Japan?" questions Seppel. "That's right! This was a man who not only allowed an unprovoked attack on the United States, but also allowed atrocities of badly treated POWs, and the Rape of Nanking.
"Indeed." While the actions were a result of a single army. As the leader, it was my job to prevent tragidies from happening. Even to this day, Japan refuses to ackowledge such a thing ever happening..." EtR solemnly replies.
Realizing that in fact, a man this dark in the past couldn't possibly have thier best intersts in heart, Tom quickly tackles him down to the ground as Seppel and G_D come to finish the job. EtR almost looks happy as Seppel moves closer with a small hammer found in the tool closet, and you almost swear you see a tear in his eye as the hammer swings....
Right as you are about to move his body, a letter falls out, intended for the current Emperor of Japan. The letter appears to be part of a speech where EtR admitted the horrible things that had happened to the city of Nanking had in fact happened. He would do whatever he could to help heal the scars of the descendents of those fateful few who survived the onslaught. Only after seeing that letter, do the rest of you understand this man was in fact Hideki Tōjō (Town Vanilla).
It is now Night 5. You have 72 hours to submit any night actions...
Hideki Tōjō (Town Vanilla) EtR, You areHideki Tōjō(30 December 1884 – 23 December 1948) As the military general and prime minister of Japan during World War II, you went down in history as a villain comparable to Adolf Hitler or Benito Mussolini. You have been claimed to be the reason millions of people in countries conquered by Japan died, and the attack on Pearl Harbor was ultimately on your shoulders. However, you have compassion and love for your country. You went out as a beacon for the people of Japan, using your last words to ask for mercy on the people you once ruled. You hope that this second coming will be your chance for redemption. Abilities: During the day, you may vote for any player.
As the usual form for the beginning of a day, you immediately look around for anyone absent from the morning breakfast. It doesn't take long to realize the attention attracting Seppel is absent. With a feeling of dread, you walk towards his room, open the door seeing a barely recognizable Seppel with the hammer used to kill EtR sticking out of his head. Even with the massive amount of blood, you still recognize Seppel as the great American hero George Washington, Town Passing Dayvig. Who will be next?
With 5 alive, it takes 3 to lynch.
George Washington (Town Passing Day Vig): Seppel, You are George Washington (February 22, 1732 – December 14, 1799)
As the general of the “rebel” army of the colonies of Great Britain, you led your men to fight one of the greatest powers at the time. As president, you are considered one of the greatest Presidents of the United States, and as the first president, you set many precedents as a president that many men followed, even to this day (including running for two terms, creation of the Presidential cabinet, and State of the Union address).
Abilities: During the day, you may vote for any player. Also, you may choose to kill someone during the day by typing in bold: Execute *insert player’s name*. If you choose to kill in the day and you hit a town player, this role will be passed to another player of your choice during the night. PM me with the message: Pass to *insert player’s name*.
You are very eager to know why you are name-claiming, but not interested enough to refuse Seppel. Why are you so interested in appeasing the request of one person?
Because the request came from town, so complying is helping a townie to further their understanding of the game. That can only help the town. I'm eager to know why simply because it bothers me that people are seeing things that I'm not, and it's a bit frustrating to me that I can't figure it out.
I feel like I got no credit for AI's lynch even though I started the wagon.
Curse you Void and your copping ways!
Or by the method of Swishh: Vote: Void
silver raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage
but seriously Tom has felt like town to me this game. the only thing I can really hold against him is how he handled his PR (aka used it to prove himself town rather than playing it strategically). His badposting is... tom's town MO.
I'd be interested to see anybody with some behavioral reasons for SK Tom though.
Okay, so either there is no SK or the both the SK and the Mafia Team targeted Seppel last Night since I protected him. My Doc ability went Super Saiyan thanks to a question I asked TCM.
What does this mean?
Would it be bad to have everybody prove they do/do not have the Day kill ability by shooting a designated person Today? A few possibilities occur:
1. None of us have it: Seppel either attempted to pass it to somebody who died that Night or the person who got it died before they could use it.
2. Townie has it, shoot bad guy: We win.
3. Townie has it, shoot townie: Dangerous, since we risk passing it to scum for the (near) guaranteed loss Tomorrow.
4. Bad guy has it, shoot townie: Very good, since we don't lose Tomorrow.
5. Bad guy has it, shoots self: Part of this plan would most likely involve having somebody agree to shoot himself. Failure to comply would result in a lynch.
Basically the issue is that if the bad guy has the kill and we don't lynch them correctly, we lose.
How about we all execute ourselves? That would solve the issue nicely. Then, if somebody dies... we no lynch, I guess.
Anyway my Void case is basically "reread Day 1 and especially reread Cyouni's posts"
Rick, you didn't answer my question. Also, sigged.
My only reservation about the excecute yourself thing is that the ability doesn't specifically say that the person receiving the role will be made aware of it. I think that would be awkward so it's probably unlikely, but it would suck to lose a townie that way.
The fact that nobody has used Seppel's daykill ability since he hit town... what could that mean? He gave it to someone who then died the following night? I'm sure Seppel must have dropped a clue somewhere; I'm going to try to find it.
I wanted you to prove your vote because if it ever turned off at any point it would be more likely that you are not part of the town. Though an SK might still retain it.
I'm not sure if I trust Tom enough to let him live into Tomorrow. At some point I have to just put my chips down though... we shall see.

Seriously though reread Cyouni D1.
I read through Cyouni and am not sure what you are specifically pointing to.
You really ought to say more about your role flavor. What you've said so far is sad. Void too.
Also, considering the set-up already feels skewed, proposing that I'm a double-voting SK (have those ever even existed?) instead of a town double voter is ludicrous.
Given that awful lynch on Eron yesterday based on flavor... I don't think I'm interested in providing any. I'm a vanilla, end of story.
Vote: Rick until you do. There is no reason to hide it.
Why did you not reread during the Night?
Busy / lack of motivation.
How does the setup feel skewed to you?
I was expecting 5 bad guys and 6 seems like way to much. I think it says something for the set up if we lynched correctly the first 4 days, hit scum with 1 out of 2 dayvig shots, and yet are still struggling to win near the end of the game. Feels like we wouldn't have had much chance at all if we had done any less good than we did.

Flavorgaming. Is. Bad.
We are not going to flavorgame. If you are interested in flavorgaming rather than behavioral analysis I will advocate lynching you Today to keep you out of the decision-making process Tomorrow. Your double vote is dangerous when wielded poorly. Oh, and there is still the chance you are our SK, don't forget.
Bottom line: you don't need my flavor to do behavioral analysis. You don't need void's, either.

Busy / lack of motivation.
Why were you not motivated?
-I was disappointed Eron was town, I want this game to end already.
-I knew there was a large chance of me being the NK.
Did you do a re-read last night?
Mmmhmm, not a full re-read straight through, but a lot of D1 and snippets from later Days.
Anyway, if you think I'm scum give me a case. You seem to be implying such lately.
I don't think that confirms anything, actually. You're a double voter. If you're scum, game ends if you vote Tomorrow. Period. Unless we're really fast... at shooting you. So, we can't rule it out.
My flavor is what I said it was: I used to kill people, but now I don't. Who, what, where, when, and why can be located in wikipedia.
I'm not criticizing your play to make you feel bad or anything. I am just not interested in losing because the guy with the double vote decides to do his own thing. No reason for you to take it personally.
I did post info: Read Cyouni's Day 1 posts. I found his interactions with void interesting.
And I welcome a case on me if you think there is one (HINT: THERE ISN'T).
the guy with the double vote decides to do his own thing.
Whose thing do you think I should be doing?
Anyway, here are my thoughts:
-Behaviorally nobody stands out as an SK.
-G_d and Void stand out the most as scum via interactions, but I think it is an SK we are looking for (6 scum is a lot and TehJeY acted like she thought the game was over).
- If we ignore interactions (because with SKs there aren't any buddies to do that with) then I feel g_d and Void are cleared as non-SKs.
-Void roleblocked Eron and copped AI. The doc on Seppel can never be proved, and the cop can't be used to clear him from being scum, but it is good reason to say that he's not an SK.
-Seppel's point about g_d and the vote count does in fact hold merit. Aside from that, g_d feels like the least likely SK due to being very un-opertunistic (voting Eron alone for the past few days).
-That leaves Rick and Voxx. On one hand Voxx has already admitted to a kill. On the other hand I don't like Rick's taking for granted that Voxx is a vig and it feels like he is trying too hard to act town. He also says that yesterdays lynch was awful but took no action to stop it.
-I want to lynch one of them today and one of them tomorrow.
So those are my thoughts, mostly coming from PoE, and it assumes we are looking for an SK rather than scum.
also lol@my voxxicus comment. Try harder. You said "I was expecting 5 bad guys and 6 feels like too much," clearly talking about the size of the scumteam. My response was talking specifically about the possibility that there is a sixth scum member—namely, that it's still possible because the balance has been reasonable. Note that voxxicus cannot be the sixth scum member because of AlphaInsidious, which would make him another vigilante in this scenario. Thus, multiple vigilantes.
Also please show me when I had a chance to stop the Eron lynch? If you note the timeline, my two posts before and after the hammer were at 7:46 AM and then 12:12 PM. Note that I am an early riser and post in the mornings. I then have class from 10:30 until noon. The lynch went down when I was in class. So, yeah, try harder.
You say I am "trying hard" to act town: How?
Why have you not corrected my assertion about your reasons for lynching eron?
Oh, actually, Seppel's vote happened before class started. I was probably in the shower or something at that point. Either way, I wasn't paying attention to this thread at that time.
Been exceedingly, excruciatingly, obviously town since Day 1.
What are you voting me for?
Now you are asking the same from me. Tell me, what makes you think, for even a second, that I would answer your question when all you did was avoid mine. Come back to me with your question when you answer my question properly.
We must lynch Tom toDay.
If Tom is the SK then he could answer the question (falsely) and out right win the game Tomorrow. This is too much of a risk for Tomorrow involving Tom's Role.
Tom, I know you must not lilke this information, but it is the cold hard truth. There is simply too much risk with your Role going into Tomorrow. If you were confirmed Town, then it would be a different story, but you're not. Sorry, Tom, but it's what needs to be done.
He was RB'd by Void that one night, but there was only one kill that night. I bet it was a scum kill and Eron didn't get to do one himself.
The first sentence here is a statement of fact.
Now that Eron is dead, we know that the RB did not stop any kill. Are we sure we are looking for an SK?
I have never seen an SK that can choose not to kill. I'll do some research but they seem bastardly for this exact reason—the town doesn't know what it is up against.
Also @everybody: I need your opinions on revealing whether or not we have seppel's shot Today (through using it). Please indicate your feelings on this.
@Void: I have been consistently scumhunting since Day 1. I cased IB. I have worked to solve the game through POE and through behavioral analysis. That's just off the top of my head. I can provide post links if you really need them. Your turn. 2/3 things. Don't talk about your PR.
I still think lynching me is dumb. Double-voting SKs generally do not exist and if one did this game would be ridiculously off-balance. Killing me just makes another lylo tomorrow and doesn't actually accomplish anything.
Doesn't keeping me alive allow us to survive an extra game day as well if we mislynch a bunch? I thought that was how it was but I'm having trouble making that work in my brain right now.
Anyway, if I am the lynch so be it. I've already given my thoughts: if it is a SK it's probably Rick or Voxx and if it's mafia it's probably g_d or Void.
Curious why Void hasn't voted me if he's so sure I must be the lynch today.
I know I'm not contributing enough, and I don't want today to end until I can provide said content. These past 2-3 weeks have just been nonstop for me, with me having avg. 5.5 shifts a weekend and spending 10 days outside of my area code.
Also, look at how Dan tried to replicate his thinking the game is over. Seppel called it out as a good trait at the end of the last day and he repeated the behavior. It's kinda suspicious.
Santorum is operating under the assumption that I have false claimed this information as the SK.
I for one have only seen one SK in a game that was Season Mafia. I think I will go back and reread that game some. IIRC, WoD was the SK in that game.
If I don't get in before Night, then I will get in first thing on Day 6 should I still be alive.
I.e., you roleblock JeY, Jey roleblocks you, Rhand tracks you.
What does Rhand see?
Also why do I not remember anybody other than Eron claiming to be roleblocked?
All US presidents have flipped town so far.
Maybe lynch Tom.
If you're going to lynch Tom, do it tomorrow (you can't do it after that unless you're really fast).
Ask Voxx what the flavor behind his kill is, too.
Were Queen "apparently I killed a bunch of people" Elisabeth or Peter the Great ever mistakenly evil?
I don't know.
I've never been in a position to neutral-hunt. It feels like wild guessing. And I don't like it.
So I really don't know either.
TCM posted this approximately a year ago:
TCM hasn't mentioned anyone else on the MTGS forums.
I'm not willing to lynch Rick, even after my most recent re-read. There's just zero self-preservation in the mind-set he expressed, and I can't justify lynching him over anyone else (except Seppel).

STILL: We may be in LyLo tomorrow. Don't vote carelessly.
Also, Tom: Tomorrow, first thing you should do is vote yourself twice and request a vote count.
And, of course, nobody hammer him.
See my own Kill Bill Mafia for precedent.
Or Zindabad's Ataghan.
Or Azrael's Inheritance.
You make your anti-town neutral role to be the person you think is the cool guy.
Why else would you make him the SK?
After a lengthy discussion about who could still be out for themselves, there comes a sudden chill in the air, a realization about one of your own remaining men, EtR.
"Wasn't he the man Hideki Tojo, the Prime Minister of Japan?" questions Seppel. "That's right! This was a man who not only allowed an unprovoked attack on the United States, but also allowed atrocities of badly treated POWs, and the Rape of Nanking.

Not always.

And we've already shown flavorgaming to be bad. So...
And I'm town anyway, so there isn't any point. You have had a bad habit of focusing on things that simply don't matter this game.
Mmmhmm, not a full re-read straight through, but a lot of D1 and snippets from later Days.
Anyway, if you think I'm scum give me a case. You seem to be implying such lately.
So I think this confirms that Seppel either never passed his ability or who he passed it to is dead.
---
@Rick: You gave like a line about your flavor and put it as a question. Does not suffice.
Just because flavor gaming didn't work out with Eron doesn't mean it is always bad. Also, I'd never consider lynching someone from flavor alone.
Please stop criticizing my play like you have done all game, or at least wait until after it's over, Sirspamalot McMM5.
If you did a re-read, how come you haven't posted any info from it?
I think either you or Voxx is the SK, and I'm leaning toward you right now. I'm still re-reading though.

I will respond to in you a moment, but first thing is first.
When I asked you to point out what you had done this game you simply posted this:
I'll get to that soon.
@everybody:
MOD: Please prod Voxxicus
Doesn't keeping me alive allow us to survive an extra game day as well if we mislynch a bunch? I thought that was how it was but I'm having trouble making that work in my brain right now.
Anyway, if I am the lynch so be it. I've already given my thoughts: if it is a SK it's probably Rick or Voxx and if it's mafia it's probably g_d or Void.
Curious why Void hasn't voted me if he's so sure I must be the lynch today.
I swear, tomorrow. That or lynch me Tomorrow.
Execute: Tom
Well, this nearly confirms Voxx as Town.
