I thought somebody in the know confirmed that the pact cycle is in, but the numbers don't add up. Red's got seven spoiled rares already (Bloodmoon, Countryside Crusher, Dragonstorm, Greater Gargadon, Molten Disaster, Pyromancer's Swath, Squee), and both mythics (Ryusei, Kiki-Jiki). That means:
1. Red has an eighth rare (Pact of the Titan)
2. the pact cycle isn't in (or isn't a cycle)
3. one of the rares we have so far got a bump down in rarity similar to Worm Harvest.
If the pact cycle is not in, then there's still a chance for Thoughtseize. If it is, then something is definitely up with red.
Tooth and Nail looks to be 170 in the spoiler today.
Vendillion Clique is at 70.
Greater Gargadon 117
Durkwood Baloth 142
Grapeshot 116(Or 115? Red cards are hard to see)
Dreamspoiler Witches 80(?)
Latchkey Faerie 50
Faerie Mechanist (45 I think.. or 43?)

Agree with these values. I see:
Dreamspoiler Witches at 81
Search for Tomorrow 161
Summoner's Pact 164
Cryptic Command 38
When this set was announced they stated outright that this is not going to be a yearly thing, and would only be repeated if the response was good enough. That means that they did not design the list thinking "we need to hold some stuff back for MM2" because they had no idea if and when a MM2 would be developed.
I wouldn't be wierded out if it does become a yearly product.
I wouldn't even be surprised at all if it follows exactly the same path of the Commander support. A long-awaited novelty followed by a "last-minute" premium product to appease the "surprisingly enormous support" of the former, followed by inscribing MM to the status quo of the set design schedule.
It's just what they have been waiting for all these years with silver-bordered and random short-sets intertwined into the big sets, a way to sell 5 successful limited-playable products a year.

Yes sir, I take fantasy art and character design commissions, PM me for rates.
I apologize if this has been addressed somewhere, but have Bloodbraid Elf and Seething Song been disqualified as potential cards here? I remember their being a bit of fuss back when the announcements were made over the potential inclusion of "worthless" cards.
Unless wizards knew months before the announcement and didint include them based on that, no chance. MM was printing way before the announcement.
From looking through all possible cards that could fill these categorys Plumeveil, Tidehollow Sculler/Mortify and Trygon Predator seem the most likly.
I would even go as far and say that Plumeveil is the last missing hybrid card.
I definitely agree with this assessment.
As for the missing multicolor combination, we are missing these and potential cards:
W/B - Angel of Despair, Castigate
U/G - Coiling Oracle,
B/R - Anathemancer, Bituminous Blast, Blightning, Demonic Dread
Since Multicolor cards already have 4 rares and 1 Mythic, I think it's safely to say that the last missing Multicolor card will be uncommon/common. My vote goes for Blightning.
If thats the way it fits in the crunch, and bloodbraid is out. Then that just confirms how far in advanced wizards knows thier ban updates. Thats crazy
Did I miss where Slaughter Pact was spoiled on any of the other threads? As posted a couple times in this thread, the full cycle of Pacts cannot be in unless red has an extra rare or one of the red rares is wrong. Has slaughter pact been confirmed anywhere, or is it just assumed as part of the cycle?
Lukaa confirmed the blue, black and green pacts. He said he never saw the red and white ones so I have no clue why those are still listed as possibilities. The red cannot be a rare as those are all accounted for.

Any chance something got downgraded to common for the first time?
Looks like Rakdos is getting two hybrids.
Here's a link to my number crunch spreadsheet.
As spans are aligned right now, we have 22 cards, though.Nevermind.Also, the fact that this set is most likely not going to have both Noble Hierarch AND Thoughtseize is incredibly disappointing.

This leaves us with two slots in between SfT and Summoner's Pact at 164. Given we appear to now be tapped out for green rares and mythics...
That list surprised me in its length, but it's 90% jank. Silhana Ledgewalker is a possibility, as it holds Swords really well. Sporesower Thallid and Sporoloth Ancient are both possibilities due to the presence of Thallid. Spike Feeder is another strong candidate.

Chances are they are both included.
