I figured it's about time to throw this sucker up on here and everything, so without further ado here's my completed Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief list which I consider a MBC list, Mono Black Control for those who don't know.
So this is a typical MBC list with a lot of the elements which control a game overall, it's got some very good black additions into the deck with a decent finisher package of Pestilence, Pestilence Demon, Black Market to make mana since things are going to die a lot in this deck.
A few cards I added into this list aren't really played very much and find they are great additions to the deck, Codex Shredder is one such card, in combination with Trading Post you can be set for the long game thanks to it's secondary ability, so this deck doesn't really worry about counter spells much at all, though green ramp decks are a pain in the butt for me to deal with, any thoughts or anything that needs to be changed.
No, No and No, staying away from these cards in this deck, I don't want to use any combos here, plain and simple, so no Staff of Domination either.
Yo I remember playing against your deck and focus-firing you because I was SURE you were going to Diabolic Revelation into Mike & Trike. Sorry I did that, Diabolic Revelation is a scary card.
I don't see what's so wrong with Nirkana Revenant when you're already running Coffers & Magus of the Coffers but I respect if you're avoiding it because it's overused.
Plagued Rusalka seems kinda underwhelming in this deck with no Grave Pact and not so many bodies to feed into it. I'd rather have more control elements like Icy Manipulator and/or protect your general with Swiftfoot Boots/Darksteel Plate and stuff.
If you haven't noticed, all my creatures in the deck do something, Korlash is just a huge beat stick which is easily dealt with, the reasoning for Soulcage Fiend is the fact I shoot everyone for 3 when it dies and it does some serious work.
Nighthawk is great and all, but I'm killing ****, nothing is going to survive on the board for long, you've gotta understand sure a 2/3 flying deathtouch, lifelink dude is cool, but the majority of my mana is spent on specific spells and using Drana's ability like mad.

I fail to see how a mediocre creature that makes everyone (including you) lose three life on death, in a format where everyone starts on 40 life, could possibly do "some serious work."

You won't always have a board wipe available. Nighthawk is a great deterrent that can make someone else's biggest (non first-striking) threat look for another player to swing at.
I'm sure you're proud of your deck and all, but don't post it if you don't want constructive criticism. You surely must know already that your list isn't optimized since you're not even running the signature card of MBC.

Again, if there were copies of it, I would run it, besides all this list was for was just to add my signature, you didn't have to post if you didn't want to.

Also, Soulcage Fiend is really blech. Why no Vampire Nighthawk?
EDIT: Also recommend Cabal Conditioning and Korlash, Heir to Blackblade.
