Lynch dC
fade is assuredly killed.
we PR-RB me and lynch asen
If there's no kill, asen daykills me, lynch voxx and win
If I'm killed, asen daykills Voxx, and we win
If anyone else is killed, I'm cleared by RB, so asen daykills voxx and we win.
I think there are only two ways town could possibly lose, and both are hilariously unlikely.
1) AG targeted Asenion last night, and RobRoy is scum.
2) KCC is a rolestopping ninja/strongman.
I wish I was a French ninja, that'd be the best role ever.
Also, there's technically:
3)RR is an untargetable self-watcher (but that role is Impossible).
But yeah, we've got this. I'm even more convinced now with you diving into end-game planning, while dC wild flails at anything that even kinda looks like it might be a possible mislynch target if you squint realllly hard.
Since I just mapped out the world where you aren't shot, and check me to a 100% town win, might as well, heh.
It's slightly safer if he doesn't. Then scum could kill you and prevent both the inspect and RB. -I know it doesn't matter, but it'd be slightly better spent on me (or maybe RR as insurance?)
Now, I'll just sit patiently and wait for either Tar to hammer, or Asenion to come in and tell me that my end-game plan is stupid and how many things I missed. -Whichever comes first.
I still think the "most likely" of the "unlikely" scenarios is that Tar is scum. That's the only realistic way we lose, but I think there's no way to cover that case without sacrificing one of the much more likely cases.
It still kind of bugs me that if dC is scum, we have seen almost zero power from the scum team, but maybe we'll find out in the postgame reveal that they had some very powerful hidden abilities.
EWP: Yeah, I see no reason not to check Asen if we can afford to.
It's kind of funny, but if I hadn't been absent most of D1 due to various things, I probably would have been shot by Forgotten One.
I throw up rainbow read lists with frequency, and he could have used the red colored names (my scum reads) as a way to kill me out of spite, before we lynched him, heh.
KCC: Remember that Voxx has some lynch prevention abilities, you can disrupt Tar with your role stop, dC has a redirect, Asen has his suicide (it would be strange for him to fire so quickly in your scenario). If the scum outed themselves on D2, that could actually be disastrous for them.

And yes, RR could be an Impossible role, but... nah.
---
For reference, ways RR can be scum: AG targeted Asenion (but why on earth would he do that?), RR has some form of strongman (but... AG blocked the kill N2... wait, crud, rolestop would shut down strongman), dC redirect cannot redirect the Mafia kill (would go against dC's understanding). The redacted was, of course, "dC redirected RR to someone other than Asenion".

I was this close to posting his name in red with strike through right after he claimed his source. -I don't remember exactly why I didn't, but I was very relieved shortly after.

Fine.
Day 1- I post in red, get daykilled. Lynch the neutral in response.
Night 1- NK voxx.
Day 2- Scum control lynch. Lynch dC.
All they have to do is not touch asen at that point. And they wouldn't even need to out themselves, exactly. They could still be more subtle than that without ever actually letting the town have any real control.
Lynch dC
NK (probably fade, otherwise this is easier)
Lynch asen -don't PR/RB me
NK (probably Tar or RR, otherwise this is even easier) -rolestop voxx
daykill me/voxx, lynch the other.
KCC: The point is that this town has multiple tools that could potentially combat a scum triple voter. Obviously it's not likely, but I hate when people refuse to actually consider possibilities (e.g. Cyan).
If this was my unlimited multivoter that could simultaneously lynch multiple people from DotA, then I wouldn't even question it, but this is just a triple voter that can only hammer and loses his triple vote halfway through the game.
The point is that this town has multiple tools that could potentially combat a scum triple voter. Obviously it's not likely, but I hate when people refuse to actually consider possibilities (e.g. Cyan).
It was on the table when hitman+2 scum was a possible setup. Now that it's definitely 3 scum, along with the anti-town killing neutral, there's just no way. -None.
That doesn't even pass the first review sweep of "can the town lose without ever mislynching."
I'm just being paranoid, but for good measure make sure Tar has a vote if we go down to 5 players. If he loses not just his triple vote but also his normal vote, that would also prevent scum from winning early.
I was this close to posting his name in red with strike through right after he claimed his source. -I don't remember exactly why I didn't, but I was very relieved shortly after.
I think I've commented before that the original big red X that Glork uses on Scum is actually red, and I changed it to darkred here due to paranoia about the MTGS forum rules?
(Also, *takes notes for FAQ for Mind Screw Salvation*. This is completely unrelated. Right?)
Lynch dC
NK (probably fade, otherwise this is easier)
Lynch asen -don't PR/RB me
NK (probably Tar or RR, otherwise this is even easier) -rolestop voxx

-Is this better, Tar?
Only problem I see is that D5 is going to have only three players alive, so either Asen firing ends the game (2 players alive afterwards, vote count reset) or Asen never gets a chance to fire (can't fire in twilight).
Oh wait, that's not a small problem at all, is it?
I think the plan is for fade to investigate you tonight, then if fade dies overnight (which is likely) then Voxx uses his PR shot tomorrow (on either you or Asen, probably the former) and then gets lynched. (If you rolestop Voxx tomorrow, you get lynched. If somebody refuses the PR, they get lynched.)

For the record, I partially agree with fade - from any seat other than my own, I'm not 100% confirmed by role (or by AG stopping a kill N3). I don't know that it's the most *likely* possibility, but it is technically possible.
(It's also technically possible that a reviewer just missed the obvious. That happens - see Legend of Lucian here and my Babylon 5 game on 'Scum. There's a reason I'm being aggressive in looking for reviewer-equivalents for my setups in the Throwdown, even this early.)
---
You know, it occurs to me that I'm probably going to be alive tomorrow even if there is a tomorrow, and if I'm NOT alive then that means fade claims a result AND Voxx uses his PR block, and Xyre has been slow to resolve twilights this game.
As long as dC, fadeblue, and Voxxicus are dead at end-game; I'm a happy player. I think we have plenty of kills to pull that off. So, good game everyone. It should be over right now.

An accurate description of myself:
Quote from Megiddo »
You're the dude who just lies a lot and makes people hate you and then magically becomes town later, right?
RobRoy, did you receive flavor for the redirect? If so, what was it?
In case it still matters, I was given cash to redirect.
Much of the wall of text that was just posted confused me. I find a number of people in this game less confirmed than you guys do, but I do agree on desCoures as a lynch for today. Let's see what happens.
Just reiterating things in the hypothetical world where desCoures flips town:
Night Four
-Fade checks KCC.
-Fade is shot.
Day Five
-Voxxicus PR inflicts and roleblocks KCC.
-Asenion is lynched.
Night Five
-No night actions submitted
Day Six
-If a kill happens, I am immediately daykilled.
-If a kill does not happen, KCC is daykilled, and then I am lynched afterwards if she flips town. Or it can be done vice versa, if people don't wish to risk placing votes down, due to my 1-shot.
The game is 100% solved, but I'm pretty much positive desCoures is scum.
High noon in the center of town. desCoures and Voxxicus stand at opposite ends of the street, hands at their sides, while the town looks on in nervous anticipation.
desCoures goes for his wand first. "Avada kedavra!" he shouts, and a bolt of dark light lashes out toward Voxx.
Voxxicus leaps aside and responds in kind. ":D!" he shouts.
After the dust clears, only desCoures is left, scratching his head. "What the hell? How does one even 'shout' an emoti-"
Suddenly, Voxxicus appears behind him, teeth bared. ":banghead:!" is his warcry, as he lands on desCoures' back. His opponent tries to swing around to get the cat off his back, but he soon finds himself falling face-first onto the ground. He lands in a heap, and a loud snap of wood can clearly be heard beneath him.
Voxxicus prowls around desCoures, chuckling in that way cats definitely can't. ":kitty:."
desCoures audibly sighs from the ground. "Seriously? A cat? That's just terrible."
"," says Voxxicus, and with an evil purr he leaps on his victim. A few moments later, all that's left of desCoures are some bloody robes.
Q walks up, with a disappointed look on his face. "I must say, Mr. Cat, that I was not impressed by your performance." Voxxicus turns to him, teeth bloodied, and stares with relish. The town slowly creeps up behind Q, weapons and chairs raised. "What?" Q asks.
"?" asks the cat.
"Well, if you're serious about..."
":flame:!" cries Voxxicus, and with a roar, the glorious Battle of Kicking Q's Ass began.
desCoures, Harry James Potter - Mafia Manipulator, has been lynched.
Yay, victory. Good job guys. Impressive work by everyone.

The game is not being dumbed down. Control is doing fine; Draw-Go is not the only kind of control. Aggro is doing fine; Red Deck Wins is not the only kind of aggro. Creature combat is an important core concept and belongs in every color. Mythic rarity is not destroying the game. People whine too much for no good reason. Magic is more popular than ever, so keep calm, brew some decks and play some damn cards.

From what I can tell, I think the SK pretty much had to live as long as possible for us to be able to stand a chance. And he wanted to kill me anyways. Sigh.
As a note, our abilities were:
Nis: Switch between untrackable Godfather/make someone -1 to lynch during the night. Also is -1 to lynch.
Cy: If I mimic someone for the whole day (declaring in first post), I get their role PM.
dC: 2-shot redirect, gets a shot each time a teammate dies.
I was very impressed with Taredas and DRey's play in this game. The battle was all uphill for the scum. desCoures put up a good fight but PoE really shot the scum in the foot in both games.
A few things I noticed about both games: The Hitman died super early.
The Redirector was the last scum alive.
Kim Jong-il's players both breadcrumbed their role heavily early on.
Both Bodyguards did basically the same thing.
The Cop did basically nothing.
The Rolestopper targeted Kim Jong-il at some point.

Good job guys. Based on my feeling this game and comments in the spectator/scum chat, I do think this game was town-favored, but that depends on the full setup.
DRey's lie about his ability worked out great, even though we could only assume he was telling the truth as town. AG's bodyguard targets were also perfect (I actually was privately assuming that he had stopped a kill on me last night).

Checkmate. -Scum, feel free to concede.
We lynch dC.
Scum kills Taredas.
That leaves Voxx, KCC, Fade, RobRoy, Asenion alive.
Fade reveals result. Let's say Town on me, clearing me.
I block KCC.
We lynch Asenion.
If a kill happens, we lynch Fade. If a kill doesn't happen, we daykill KCC, then lynch Fade.
Yeah, it checks out.
Game over.
1) AG targeted Asenion last night, and RobRoy is scum.
2) KCC is a rolestopping ninja/strongman.
Since I just mapped out the world where you aren't shot, and check me to a 100% town win, might as well, heh.

But yeah, we've got this. I'm even more convinced now with you diving into end-game planning, while dC wild flails at anything that even kinda looks like it might be a possible mislynch target if you squint realllly hard.
Just a personal philosophy to never concede or give up until it's fully over, I'd imagine.
It's slightly safer if he doesn't. Then scum could kill you and prevent both the inspect and RB. -I know it doesn't matter, but it'd be slightly better spent on me (or maybe RR as insurance?)
Asenion is lynched.
Taredas is shot.
KCC, Fade, RobRoy alive... yeah, that's bad. Since either you or Fade could be scum in that scenario.
And this is why rolestopping me last night was bad! Haha.
Yeah, okay.
Check KCC tonight, then.
Asenion is like...99% town.
Probably. But, let's just not do that, and do the other thing that definitely wins.
So the only night action is Fade checking KCC.
And the game is fully solved from there no matter who is shot.
Barring those two weird-role situations that are unlikely on a multitude of levels.
It still kind of bugs me that if dC is scum, we have seen almost zero power from the scum team, but maybe we'll find out in the postgame reveal that they had some very powerful hidden abilities.
EWP: Yeah, I see no reason not to check Asen if we can afford to.
Theoretically possible, but just exceedingly unlikely.
Day 1 - correctly lynch neutral
Night 1 - scum shoots Asenion
Day 2 - Asen daykills a townie. 9 alive, scum control 5 votes and win the game.
No. -Just no.
I guess there's another possibility that would require Xyre being a bastard mod, but that's not even worth mentioning.
I throw up rainbow read lists with frequency, and he could have used the red colored names (my scum reads) as a way to kill me out of spite, before we lynched him, heh.
Voxxicus. Forcevote. 3p LyLo. Legend of Lucian. Tilde in Points. Get the drift? (Yes, I'm being paranoid, when autowins are concerned it's worth it.)
Doesn't affect the lynch today, does affect it tomorrow because of the off chance Voxx is scum.
Do we need to worry about this?
Hmm. I'll look again in the morning, I need sleep.
Will hammer dC tomorrow (probably in ~9 hours). I mean, it's not like Xyre would post the lynch scene before then anyways.
---
It could be better, you could be a French ninja waiter.
And yes, RR could be an Impossible role, but... nah.

Like I said, it's just a niche use at end game, and possibly swinging a no lynch to a lynch, or something. I dunno.
dC's going to flip scum. So there's that.
Hmm.
Lynch dC
NK (probably fade, otherwise this is easier)
Lynch asen -don't PR/RB me

It's supposed to shut off anyway by itself. But I guess I could do that too to be even safer. (Not that any of this is ever happening)
It was on the table when hitman+2 scum was a possible setup. Now that it's definitely 3 scum, along with the anti-town killing neutral, there's just no way. -None.
That doesn't even pass the first review sweep of "can the town lose without ever mislynching."
I'm assuming neither of you is scum, anyways. None of the 3 of us (me, KCC, Fade) could win if they were mafia, so it'd be pointless to drag it out.
