Decent effect that can be used by all decks - I mean, that Hydra probably has you on a clock anyway, so might as well cycle through your deck faster to find answers.
Oh, and just to be sure: have there been rules set out for these Hero Cards? Like, are they tappable enchantments that just exist from the start of the game? Can I use this, for example, on my first turn?

Very blue, actually :p. These days, Wizards wants to emphasize the difference between blue 'loot' effects and red 'loot' effects by having blue be 'draw-then-discard' and red be 'discard-then-draw'.
I believe it's been said earlier that this is the only card for step 2 of the Hero's Path. (As opposed to the 5 different cards for step 1.) It's possible I'm misremembering, however.
Too expensive
For edh only

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?
There are also a few card names listed on the quiz card. At about 1:41 you can pause it and see the names. Should be able to help with the name and number crunch.

THe list is:
Gray Merchant of Aphodel
Disciple of Phenax
Mogis's Marauder
Kragma Warcaller
The new names listed there are Disciple of Phenax, Mogis's Marauder, and Fellhide Minotaur.
Also, Disciple of Phenax and Mogis's Marauder are explicitly mentioned to be black creatures, although from context one can see that they aren't necessarily only black (as Kragma Warcaller is also included).
Based on what we know of the gods so far, probably Mogis's Marauder is :symb::symr: (as Mogis seems to be a :symb::symr: god), and Disciple of Phenax is probably :symu::symb: (since it seems that Mogis is the :symb::symr: god, Pharika is the :symb::symg: god, and Athreos is the :symw::symb: god). Of course, it's also possible that Phenax isn't a god at all, in which case Disicple of Phenax might very well be mono-black and not multicolored at all.
When facing the Hydra you may begin the game with up to two Hero cards on the battlefield. You do not need any heroes to face the Hydra.
Hero cards represent the abilities and skills you have acquired on your path to the challenge. The challenge decks mirror the path Elspeth takes through Theros. The first of these is the Hydra.

T: Draw a card, then discard a card.
Maybe this is a card that represents G/W, and the Heroes for Journey Into Nyx will all be "two colored" to reflect the gods in the set they come with.
Well, then again, this ability isn't Green/White...I was mostly going off the art and the name.
against the chalenger decks it will be good

They work like Vanguards

The art IS super-red, though :p.

And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)

Well, if you want to get technical, they kinda have.
Do horrors even have gender?
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
It's Blue. Red gets the bad version.

Actually I think that's very blue. Draw first, discard after.
