Final couple of common cards for my set: Coins of Mercalis
Would love some feedback before I finalize the names and flavour text on these. Also got some renders to show off.
The Cards
Delusion Guantlets
Artifact — Equipment (C)
Equipped creature has “:symtap:: Tap or untap another target creature”.
Equip 2
Lux Golem
Artifact Creature — Golem (C)
:symtap:: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Lux Golem doesn’t untap during your next untap step.
0/2
Trader Sigil
Artifact (C)
:1mana:, :symtap:: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
:symtap:, sacrifice Trader Sigil: You get a gold counter (Once per turn you may spend a gold counter for 1. A player with ten or more gold counters wins the game.)
Sleepless Sentry picture doesn't have updated activation cost
Having both sleepless sentry and delusion gauntlets at common seems like a bad idea. Lux golem has some memory issues but its not a big deal if your playing with good players.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

I like the design of these - all seem simple, elegant and artifact-like. Tap/untap theme hmm?
Ebony Gargoyle - Was the ETB tapped thing a development decision? It wouldn't be too awful without that clause, though I can understand why it might be included.
Sleepless Sentry - Such cheap untapping is quite abusable, especially with Delusion Gauntlets. Pili-Pala cost a bit more to get going, and maybe that's what this needs development-wise.

Your right that the ETB tapped is a development decision as this is the most powerful flier at common AND is playable in any colour. This means I didn't want to disadvantage blue flying cards too much and give other colours a colourless beater than was too good. I think the current design is perfect and has a nice little interaction with twiddle and untap cards which is an added bonus.

Yeh changed to 2 activation cost.

Has no more memory issues than any "freeze" card which are seen fairly often at common. Should be fine.
