How unfortunate, the card sucks, and we already had two of the card arts. The new art is still cool, but I had hoped for more sketches, and a better card.

Can't have it all.

Well that's a nice win condition. Nine mana is a tad expensive to buyback, but considering that you'll be getting a game winning creature most of the time (or at least should be), that hardly matters.

yuck. White Creaure control for 5? Not even my choice? I'll pass. Buyback is nice though

Meh, seems kinda janky to me. By the time you can pay the buyback, you should have already won.

1st impressions sb tech vs control decks that run 1 or 2 creatures as win conditions.

Side note I havent been able to load the Wizards article yet and its been 15 minutes since it went live.

Edit:Waste of a rare slot why isn't this uncommon?

God Alongi's "holier than thou" writing style really pissed me off.

On the card, I don't like it. It's slightly better than Flash Conscription, arguably.

I always thought that buyback was paid if the spell resolved.

Is this a change or am I reading this wrong?

The temples in the first sketch/art look very similar to those in the art of Ancestral Recall. Ancestral gets two hits in the orb.

an interesting card, i can see some control decks siding it for mirror or other control type matchups

i love that ancestral recall redux art, that could be a very interesting land or blue spell

eh. has possibilities. you can always knock off a couple janky creatures, but if they are playing a token deck you're screwed completely. limited it might be a decent grab.

As far as new archtypes, Bloodbraid Elf is completely ridiculous

Nothing else is good enough to be played in standard.

so they'll eat it when ARB redefines standard
