[TS] Inquest: Evil Eye of Urborg, Bogardan Hellkite, Riftwing Cloudskate
Found a copy of Inquest with some new cards, surprised someone hasn't already put these up. A few we already know: Kher Keep, Terramorphic Expanse, etc, but here are a few new ones.
Evil Eye of Urborg   Creature- Eye (U) Non-Eye creatures you control can't attack. Whenever Evil Eye of Urborg becomes blocked by a creature, destroy that creature. "Edahlis, what is that thing? We should have stayed in Yavimaya..." --Aznaph, greenseeker 6/3 Illus. Clint Langley Bogardan Hellkite   Creature- Dragon (R) Flash Flying When Bogardan Hellkite comes into play, it deals 5 damage divided as you choose among any number of target creatures and/or players. 5/5 Illus. Scott M. Fischer Riftwing Cloudskate   Creature- Illusion (U) Flying When Riftwing Cloudskate comes into play, return target permanent to its owner's hand. Suspend 3-  2/2 Illus. not too bad, I say. The Eye is a fun throwback, and the Dragon could be nasty in the right deck - Reanimator, I'm looking at you...

Am I correct in my interpretation that the Eye kills blockers before combat damage goes on the stack? If so... WOOT!

Riftwing=2 in the orb, that checks out
Greenseeker=1 can you read the cardnumbers? Please! That means an reversal of the creaturetype of Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore Interestinly, this Eye accounts only for 3 of the 4 appearances in the orb. Last edited by Hunter : 09-05-2006 at 02:33 PM. |

the Eye seems kinda powerfull in limited - can't the ability deals with pretty much every creature... too bad it doesn't have trample or flying tho, cuz if it gets pacified or tapped every turn it's gonna be real sad. Dragon is a limited bomb that should rise some enthusiasm in reanimation fans, and the third guy also seems kinda good - Vedalken Dismisser locked opps draw, but costed one more and didn't fly... and this guy has suspend too...

You are correct Ex, if the Eye becomes blocked, no combat damage would be dealt to the Eye or the defending player.
I like that card! Hope we get a scan soon...

All the cards are nice. I wonder if all blue suspend creatures are illusions. Talking about them. Who do you suspend on turn two, this guy or the Errant. This guy comes in a turn earlier and has bounce, but the other guy is bigger. Can't wait to see more suspend cards.
The eye is just evil.

Will the Time Spiral cards be always either too expensive or take too long to come into play (suspend)?
I'm kinda disappointed  Thanks for reporting though. The dragon is a cool reanimator target.

That cloudskate kicks ass. Nice illusion too to go with the krovikan mists etc. Don't forget it can attack once it comes out of suspend too. And that dragon is one of the meanest dragons I've seen so far, especially with flash.
