[FS] Lucent Liminid (rumoured)

Okay, now I am officially spooked! Earlier on, I was browsing Hunter's excellent Name & Number Crunch thread, when I noticed something odd - a card type listed as "Enchantment Creature". I jokingly posted a comment, saying that maybe this would "summon up the whole card text..." Now, I'm sure you can see where this is headed, but I swear that, at the time, it was just a joke.

So, just a few minutes ago, I was sitting here, sipping some tea, when I noticed the room seemed a little colder. Moments later, a chill breeze wafted across the back of my neck, as though it was being brushed by some long hair! I turned around, startled, but there was no-one there. Somewhat disconcerted, I turned back to my tea - and when I picked the cup up, I noticed a thin cigarette paper sticking damply to the bottom! Carefully peeling it off, I could just make out some smudged writing, which I've copied out here for you:

Lucent Liminid

Enchantment Creature – Elemental
Flying
It is a herald of the sun goddess, projected from the hallowed glass whenever her light passes through.

No collector number? I wondered to myself - and then I spotted, in the very bottom corner, the number 24. She obviously knows me well! But who are these people? And what powers do they possess?

In case you're wondering, "lucent" means "glowing softly", and "liminid" suggests "liminal" to me, which means "almost imperceptible". So this name calls up an image of a creature that almost isn't there - a magical essence. Of course, it's also reminiscent of "licid" - the original enchantment creatures!

Not spectacular stats, but decent limited beater.

Well, nice limited body. This one gets wrecked by both creature and enchantment destruction which is another downside. This is a common, right?

It's interesting, the dual-type, but only because it's a new combination (unless the licids were double-typed like this when they changed... I don't think they were) and because I have no idea what to do with it. I guess Retether can now bring back 3/3s (and any others that follow). And now we have another "tap enchantment." Ha... ha...? -Jack

Its both but doesn't do anything enchantmenty? Odd, I'd have thought they'd have given it a global ability. "All creatures get +0/+1" maybe?

Still a 3/3 flyer in White for 5 isn't terrible if its common. I don't see how they could make it uncommon or rare.

What does making it an enchantment add to this creature other than making it die to naturalize or trigger off of mesa enchantress. A lot of these FS cards are like puzzles unto themselves.

It could very well be just Creature - Elemental. I really didn't take the point of it being a Enchantment - it's almost only a strange downside.

Well its about time they made an enchantment creature. I mean its odd and what not but Artifacts shouldn't get all the fun. It may have some downsides being one but its also an upside in some situations I'm sure.

I don't get it. Why is it an enchantment? It doesn't do anything enchantment-like. At least give this creature some sort of static continuous effect to make it more interesting. "Enchantment creature" is a great new mechanic, but this almost-vanilla card is the wrong way to showcase this new idea.

Well theres plenty of artifact creatures that do nothing in relation to artifacts. Except being artifact creatures that means there colorless most have some flavor for being that way Brass Man Ornithopter.

But fact of the matter is its probably a lot harder to make a flavorful enchantment thats a creature cause its much more difficult to imagine.

I guess they coulda did this or something but then it woulda felt like a cheap knock off.
