Well without P/T , they are erm ok ?
The shadow guy could see play if he has 2 power.
The goblin will likely be a 1/1 and dead fast.

Are they creatures?
I mean, in a fun set like FS everything is possible... A few more card types? Human, Goblin, ...

Ok, just kidding
They are okay imo. In Limited I think they are playable at least

Well, the 1/3 shadow is unimpressive. Neither offensive nor defensive. And 4 life is not enough.

The Goblin is a little better. Not constructed worthy imo. It's too fragile and that upkeep restriction is not helping either. It sure is better than most 2/1s for 1R, though.

Wow, at 2/1 the red one is pretty awsome for aggro.
at 1/3 the white one has decent sulfur resistance, too bad shadow means it effectively can't block, and white aggro is held in check by said sulfur

I see the name for the other ones in the number crunching thread, we just have the names for those?

Wow. Now that we have the P/T as well I can say that the red one is really good. Definitely constructed-worthy, since it can deal combat damage in the beginning and finish the opponent when they get low by blowing himself at your upkeep without them being able to counter that damage. Of course he'll be a removal magnet but I don't think that's a problem in a Gruul build where all creatures are dangerous anyway and need to be removed.
Now the shadow guy is mostly a sideboard choice for control builds, since he is able to block and kill the other shadow critters, he is invulnerable to Sulfur Elemental, he is unblockable but a slow clock and he may gain life if things get rough. He is not very good though. And definitely not aggro material.

Unfortunately, it can't! It says only during your upkeep. If you could sack him anytime it would be insane!

These are quite good. And if we take into consideration the fact that they're common, they are downright excellent. Can't wait to see what the green and black ones do.

Red is more like lava spike

Rampant growth would bad since it comes into play tapped during upkeep? they would have to fix that part if its rampant growth

cruel edict sounds good for black

I don't think merchant scroll is good for blue, perhaps something more along the lines of brainstorm (not nearly as broken in upkeep?) or some kind of card selection effect seems reasonable, but not quite a tutor.

I like the flavor of these cards. These creatures are telling you that a spell might be coming. It is like a twist on suspend except you can play it any upkeep. Like real world fortune tellers, their predictions may or may not come true.
