If they're releasing product for these plainswalkers does that mean they're not realeasing new P/W anytime soon?

I realize that ultra-pro is releasing these but wizards mustve given approval recently....

Awesome find PBG!

Anyone know the size of that the playmats will be or how much they will cost? I ask cause I'm wondering if I'll need to get 1 or 2 if me and my buddy want to duel.

I think they haven't used that single planeswalker image in enough products yet. I will not have rested until I can purchase an entire bedroom set with that group pic of planeswalkers.

Thats what my GP top 8 PM is made out of... Didnt know they made playmats purely out of cloth.

Agreed, not much items with P/W have been marketed....

And no comment on pt 2.....

aren't DShield playmats made of cloth?

i just really hope that theese p-mats donn have that "plastic" feeling like my mouse pad.

Why couldn't they have planeswalker specific products? Honestly, I would much rather have a deck box or binder with only like Garruk or jace, etc artwork on it instead of having all of them.

The size should be in the pics next to them in inches. They seem fairly large enough, but I would suggest two anyway, because they looks so nice.

Some playmats are cloth. Like the Incinerate for Tenth Edition. That was more or less a cloth mat, which slide and aren't that great IMHO.

Dragon Shield mats are like a floppy mouse pad. They have the grippable stuff on the back and a cloth textured covering. The best IMHO again.

I think they realize that the art for all of the planeswalkers is amazing, but certain planeswalkers have much more favoritism than others. The solution from a marketing standpoint would be to include them all.

I see no difference in this idea and the creation of orange deck boxes while also making red ones. More people will probably want a red deck box, but is that any reason to not make orange ones? Apparently even with colors that won't get as much attention as the obvious ones profit is still made. The idea can be as easy as making one for each, creating a limited supply, see which sell more and just make additional orders for the higher selling ones. Even if there is more love for 1 planeswalker over another, people like to have lots of different deck boxes with cool art.

Ugh the stuff is so ugly. The mana symbols on top of the walkers look awful and the mat is pretty lame. I'll stick to my pokemon deckboxes and GP NJ mat.

I'm lost about the order chosen on the deck box.

?

It's almost all enemy borders except the jace-ajani corner. I might be over thinking things, but it's still odd.

Edit:
Oops, the garruk-chandra border is the same way. It would still be nice if they stuck with order on these things. The little things like that tend to bug me and make me a conspiracy theorist. I want to say that's how they'll shift the colors in shadowmoor, but they're only products. I'll stop ranting now.
