Counsel of the Fae doesn't really cut it as a sorcery.

By the way, Nocturnus, can you confirm to us the card types of the other cards in the cycle? Please say the white one is an instant.

Wow... that goblin is..... wow.

The counsel is pretty meh though. It would have been awesome if it were an instant. But still, digging 5 cards deep and getting 1 or 2 of the best is really not the worst effect ever. OK for causal I guess and maybe blue decks that do not rely that much on having counter mana open.

The goblin looks really good, the counsel is just horrible. Even if you can make 3x U, you're still paying three mana for a not guaranteed two cards at sorcery speed. I think as an instant it might have been playable.

3/3 haste for 3. I think that might be playable alone (I am pretty sure acutally). Add a kind of evasion (Wither is not nice to block). Then add some of the strongest creature types availble in its colors (well it could have been elf goblin warrior). Well ,thats, uhhh SICK .

counsel of the Fae is pretty decent if you can keep the most creatures (eg. play blossom in BU) but proberly to hard to use in most decks.

Thieves Fortune is better than Counsel of the Fae. It has the little keyword that is so so so important... Instant.

What is up with the Blue/Fae cards... nothing's instant and all the fae we've seen so far don't have flash. Even our almighty liege doesn't have flash and sits in the glut of 4 mana spells.
