Q's Dredge deck is clunky. I don't even remember seeing any Deep Analysis or Lion's Eye Diamond in it...
Refer to the Legacy forums for an idea of what the deck is "supposed" to look like.
I laughed, thats so true. What would a ninja be if you could see him....? Dead?
Not at all. In fact they encouraged others to see them--just not in their exploits. Masters of misinformation; gardeners and guardians would be ninja, and quite visible. Not to mention ninjutsu doesn't necessarily entail stealth.
... but then, I suppose we can't all be a snicky ninja...

In the Japanese history, a ninja (忍者, ninja?) was someone specially trained in a variety of unorthodox arts of war. The methods used by ninja included assassination, espionage, and a variety of martial arts.
Their exact origins are still unknown. Their roles may have included sabotage, espionage, scouting and assassination missions as a way to destabilize and cause social chaos in enemy territory or against an opposing ruler.
The word ninja became popular in the post-World War II culture. The nin of ninjutsu is the same as that in ninja, whereas jutsu (術) means skill or art, so ninjutsu means "the skill of going unperceived" or "the art of stealth"; hence, ninja and shinobi-no-mono (as well as shinobi) may be translated as "one skilled in the art of stealth and almost being unseen." Similarly, the pre-war word ninjutsu-zukai means "one who uses the art of remaining unperceived."
Are you quoting Wikipedia to argue with a ninja about ninja? Hmm. That's a pretty vague history. If it's worth continued arguing, I could go find some reliably accurate, ninja-written sources, but it may take some recollection on my part.
When I said "ninjutsu doesn't mean stealth necessarily", I meant the ninja-arts as a whole, which are categorized as ninjutsu, there are a good number of them, one of which is specifically ninjutsu (more commonly referred to as shinobijutsu by ninja).
But anyway, why doesn't MTGS have a ninja smily? We have a pirate!
basically I went to asure myself, I thought a ninja was all about stealth. I never heard of them exposing themselves and gardening.
Aww, you almost had me all excited...
On the gardening: It would be a visage/disguise; daimyo would hire on ninja to serve as next-level bodyguards (and many other roles, for that matter), and what better position than out tending the castle to observe and unexpectedly neutralize any threats?
Those sneaky ninja were as highly educated as they were physically capable, why I was so adamant about finding a ninjutsu teacher (and it was tough, to let you know, I didn't just go with the bujinkan... pff, those hacks...).

Hmmmm, in disguise. As in STEALTH. So what your telling me is that I was right all along right? Jeez, now I'm all excited!!!
No, concealment and stealth are a bit different :D... but excuse me, I'm a language nazi. I'll just concede here as all I wanted to do was impart some ninja knowledge.
What are the Dimir excited about in Eventide? Obviously everyone loves Unmake, but... ?

To begin, Im not made of money, or else I would get myself a playset of bazaar of bagdad, force of will and pact of negation. This is meant to be a cheap deck me and my friends can have casual fun with at our local kitchen table, like we do with affinity. As for the deep analysis, I was wondering whether to cut the looters for them or not, I guess now I have the answer.

I myself was very happy to lay my eyes upon doomgape, having a 250 highlander reanimator deck, I basically saw this as a 10/10 trampler that gains life and costs 1B to play (Avg reanimator spell CC).
I also won a foil resurrection at my local FNM, the others who won them tore them up, put them in a pile, and burned them. (for obvious reasons:no:) But I kept mine.....because it was shiny.:D
Yeah, obviously Bazaar and Diamond are a bit steep, but there's still no reason you should need the Looters/Magi. Check my post before your last in your old thread (awkward sentence, much?), it states my opinions that you must've skimmed over.

Deep Analysis loses much of its power if you don't have LED. It will still be better than Merfolk Looter, but you won't get the kind of explosive results you normally would.

Sure, it isn't as explosive, but the deck still wins turn two-three regularly. I've been playing a slightly budget version myself (but with the old Sutured Ghoul win), and it is just as efficient as I need it to be. I love me some graveyards...
Perhaps one day I'll just get right out with it and put that into my sig...

After reading ravus' post I have decided to replace the looters with DA simply because this deck should win really fast that the 3 life shouldnt matter. As for the question as to why I run spirit guides....they accel my mana....last I heard that was a good thing in dredge. Anyone have any ideas how I can make this faster? Any cards Im missing?(Please dont say LED, I dont want to spend an extra $30-40 for a playset:sweat:)

Needle Specter is pretty good. The artwork of the cards is real nice. I wonder if they'll have more scarecrows in the set, it's a nice theme in there.

There will at least be a cycle of five Scarecrows, so I'd say it's safe to assume they're back.
