I've been tossing around the idea of an Uril deck since ARB came out and have finally decided to start working on it. So here it is, suggestions are very much appreciated.
I perfer Enlisted Wurm because it can get more creatures (hopefully spellbreaker) than bloodbraid can in this deck. What do guys think about Sensei's Divining Top does it fit in this deck? I'm pretty iffy on it.
A lot of the changes I made were more of a money/trade material issue than what is better than what. Also Temporal Isolation prevents the damage Uril does unless you mean that I should play it on enemy creatures, which in that case, I think it wouldn't be worth the slot and that just Unquestioned Authority is better. I agree with you on Thornling however, I'm definitely thinking about cutting him. Also, Genesis is already in the deck

Ah totally forgot about the last thing on Temporal Isolation. Try Kithkin Armor instead. Tho, Unquestioned Authority is just better than both =P.

I totally agree with you here: the only reason why Uril is playable is because it has troll-shroud. Playing Rabid wombat would go against this kind of consideration. On the other side Troll ascetic could be the way to go if you don't have too many of those "color-checking" auras.
I agree that Rabid Womat isn't worth putting in, but spirit loop looks like a good idea, I just don't know what to take out.
I love it! Yea, I was totally serious....because I'm always suggesting bad cards. *sarcasm*
I suppose I should have made it clearer that I was joking....I could've gotten someone killed!
Anyway, yes, Spirit Loop is amazing, so is Brilliant Halo, Fiery Mantle, Undying Rage; basically all of the auras that go back to your hand if they hit the graveyard (I think you already have Rancor). That has always been the inherent problem with auras -- card disadvantage -- and these help with that issue.
After look at my games meta a bit more, I was wondering what this deck could do against bribery, should I put in more removal? Maybe some mass removal? Winds of Rath or Wrath of God maybe?
Also, do I have enough lands/mana artifacts (29+4, 4 cards that search for basics, krosan verge and 2 mana producing creatures) ?
Is it possible to have Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician sacrifice two Plains to create two 1/1 black Lizard tokens? Yes. And until you have tried doing so, how can you judge the level of efficiency that doing so holds?

I dont think you need the enchantresses at all, I been playing Uril for some time and they're a wasted slot in your deck. You NEED Survival of the Fittest and Squee. You should also have Greater Good, Academy Rector, and Riftsweeper (unbanned now that general zone exists)

If your meta has a lot of blue, Insist can be really good. And against non-blue decks, it's still just G to cycle. Bind can be great too, as no one ever sees it coming.
Where's your Pancake Flipper? It doesn't have to be an enchantment to be awesome - you can attach it to something besides Uril (if he gets Hindered/whatever) and not worry when the creature dies. And it survives sweepers. Speaking of which, Indestructibility on Uril is simply unbeatable for some decks, and Lapse of Certainty can spell game, too.
I've got to put a plug in for Greater Auramancy. Yes, it means you only get to put one enchantment on Uril (if you play him after you cast Auramancy) but it lets you put auras on other things and protects your non-Uril enchantments.
As a connoisseur of fun, interesting matches, I still to this day have not been able to craft that "perfect deck"; the deck that I can play and have fun over time, doesn't get boring, but simultaneously is fun to play against. I honestly don't think it exists. It's like a unicorn. A ninja unicorn.

I put sprout swarm in there to more some more tokens for Sigil of the Nayan Gods, although, I suppose I could replace it with another enchantress.
Argothian Enchantress for Verduran Enchantress
Woolly Thoctar for Taurean Mauler
Sprout Swarm for Eternal Witness
Sigil of the Nayan Gods for Armadillo Cloak
Gaea's Cradle for Mistveil Plains
Elspeth, Knight-Errant for Recollect
Enlisted Wurm for Mesa Enchantress
I'm trying to fit in Fires of Yavimaya, Indrik Stomphowler, and Woodfall Primus but I don't know what to take out.
Argothian Enchantress>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Verduran Enchantress. I would switch something else for Verduran Enchantress. Also Temporal Isolation makes Uril near unblockable and Unquestioned Authority makes him unblockable.
I'd cut Thornling for Verduran Enchantress because you want creatures that have utility and beat rather than just dumb beats. Thornling unlike Spellbreaker Behemoth and Spearbreaker Behemoth doesn't have the utility to help Uril and quite honestly, it's easier to get the 21 general damage with Uril than deal some max 7 a turn with Thornling. I'd add Genesis and possibly cut Knotvine Mystic.
