With aluren, temporal adept, eternal witness, and nature's revolt in play, I can gain infinite life. Whee.

But yeah, that's overcosted just a tad. It probably cost 5 in development but then somebody made a combo deck with it and they toned it down. Cause they obviously hate combo decks. *cries*

Hurray, the cleric is a 4/4 for 4. Now it's actually good. If it really was the other version, i would have placed it in that whole 'bad rare that wizards likes to make'.

SAPORLINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I now officially love Rav.

The cleric is going into my extended g/w slide deck. Thats just silly life gain. Being a 4/4 is good as well.

Wow, that version is excellent. I can easily see the card seeing play in Standard in that form.

wow, 4/4, gain 3 life, and it's playable (assuming no mana acceleration) on turn 4? nice, that IS worth the rarity.

with Sakura-Tribe Elder in pretty much every Standard green deck, that's very playable on turn 3. that's a very nice deal. i like that card.

YAY!!! SAPROLINGS!!!

As for the cleric, are we now staring at the new Ravenous Baloth ??? It looks like it, and most likely it'll play just like ol' good Onslaught days. I'm beginning to like Ravnica more and more every day. Also, I don't think it is undercosted, it just fits green and white creature theme, joining the best of the two worlds (efficient critters and fatties in one convenient package)

Oh geez... maybe I should just wait until tomorrow to post this... every time I turn around, something changes!

Quote:
okay back
sorry again but there's another ability, you pay 2WG and sacrifice him to regenerate target creature
also he's a loxodon not just a cleric, and maybe legendary
talking to my friend right now to confirm it
I must say it's getting a little silly. The guy has given plenty of good info and I don't doubt this, but... it keeps changing. And now he can trade himself to keep another guy alive? *sigh*... oh well, here goes:

Incredible Changing Loxodon -
(Legendary?) Creature - Elephant Cleric (R)
When Incredible Changing Loxodon comes into play, gain 3 life.
, Sacrifice Incredible Changing Loxodon: Regenerate target creature.
4/4

I'll edit the first post AGAIN.

I am personally thrilled that I will always know this guy as Incredible Changing Loxodon even though mechanically he doesn't change a darn thing . He's darn good though--I was wondering for a while how it was rare, with Ravenous Baloth and other more impressive but similar cards in existence. Now he feels rare, and cool. The most interesting card we've seen so far.

Just enough times to drive us all mad

If it does have the regen ability, I assume it will be legendary. But why elephant, I hate their card arts :slant:

I'm glad you asked! Apparently, the answer is "at least one." He checked with his friend and got his fuzzy memory refreshed.

Quote:
**** man sorry
its not legendary at all
and the ability only costs a green and a white
also it regenerates all your creatures not just one
and you gain 4 life instead of 3
you can post that now, it's correct lol sorry!!
Oh, so I can post it NOW.... sheeeeesh.

Loxodon _____ -
Creature - Elephant Cleric (R)
When Loxodon _____ comes into play, gain 4 life.
, Sacrifice Loxodon _____: Regenerate all creatures you control.
4/4

I hope this is right, because it's about 14 times more powerful than when I first posted it... and I even liked it then!

A creature the has a cc of 4 and is 4/4, gives you four live, and can sac to regen all your other creatures???????????? Thats crazy to not be a legend. Maybe it has defender or something.
