This deck is mostly for fun. I've been trying to come up with an interesting 5 color deck for a while now, but kept making lists that just seemed like a jumbled mass of the best cards from each color, and that just didn't seem right to me. Then I stumbled upon Pillar of the Paruns and an idea just clicked, what about an all gold 5 color deck? This is my first draft of that deck.
The idea is that every card is a gold card. So while cards like Dragon Arch may work incredibly well in this deck, they aren't included because they're not gold. Additionally, I chose not to include any of the Ravnica block or Shadowmoor/Eventide hybrid cards as they aren't truly gold cards. I chose Cromat as a general because he didn't require a deck to be built around him, and seemed less threatening than other 5 color generals.
